120'
K. Havertz gets yellow.
Havertz becomes the next name in referee Hooper's book for a foul on the left-hand side and then kicking the ball away.
119'
It is hard to see Plymouth ever getting a better chance to take the reigning European champions to a penalty shoot-out. Hardie had the opportunity from the spot but failed to convert and that could be the tie over.
118'
Penalty saved by Kepa!
PENALTY SAVED! After Sarr makes the mistake in giving away a penalty, Hardie hovers over the chance from 12 yards out. He slides towards the bottom-right corner but Arrizabalaga guesses the right way and saves!
Arrizabalaga holds his nerve as Hardie steps up from the penalty spot, diving to his left to save the substitute's effort.
116'
Havertz and Ziyech both threaten to have chances on either flank but neither move comes to fruition. Cooper launches long as Plymouth search for their second goal.
114'
Schumacher's side may have been dreaming of an upset when Gillesphey opened the scoring. However, that header seems like an age ago and Chelsea are in complete command now despite only boasting a slender lead.
112'
T. Chalobah enters the game and replaces César Azpilicueta.
Azpilicueta, who levelled things up in the first half, wanders off as Chalobah comes on to take his place.

105' +1
Marcos Alonso has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by K. Havertz.
Havertz and Werner combine on the left-hand side with the former crossing towards the middle of the area, where Alonso applies the finishing touch past Cooper.
GOOOOOOOAL! 2-1 CHELSEA! Havertz exchanges a one-two on the left flank with Werner before making it to the byline and pulling back towards the penalty spot. Alonso ghosts into the area and slides a right-footed strike into the bottom-right corner past the unsighted Cooper.
105'
There will be two minutes of added time in the first half of extra-time as Chelsea continue to probe for their second goal.
The home side get the second half of extra-time under way!
104'
Werner roams down the left-hand side and curls in for the head of Lukaku. The Belgian beats his man to the cross but his tame effort loops comfortably into Cooper's hands.
103'
Havertz throws his arms up in frustration as he claims he should have a penalty for an apparent pull by Scarr. Referee Hooper, though, is uninterested and allows play to go on with Cooper in possession.
102'
M. Cooper gets yellow.
Werner flashes across the face of goal with an inviting delivery that Cooper cannot quite reach. The ball, however, has gone out of play according to the assistant on the far side.
Cooper is deemed to be wasting time by the referee Hooper and the Plymouth goalkeeper is shown a yellow card.
101'
Chelsea's German duo link-up as Havertz offloads for Werner inside the area. The former RB Leipzig striker aims for the far corner, but a belated offside flag appears to rule the move completely redundant whatever the outcome.
100'
Cooper, who has been a standout performer for the away side, towers above Saul to punch away. The Spaniard still brings the goalkeeper down, and Schumacher's side win a free-kick inside their own area.
99'
Chelsea hammered the Plymouth goal consistently in the second half but have lacked fluidity in the opening stages of extra-time as the game seems to be going through somewhat of a lull.
97'
Saúl enters the game and replaces M. Mount.
The Blues are increasingly running out of ideas and they look to fix that by sending on Saul for Mount.
95'
R. Law enters the game and replaces C. Grant.
At the same time as Broom’s introduction, Grant makes way for Law.
94'
R. Broom enters the game and replaces Panutche Camará.
Schumacher makes his fourth alteration in the first half of extra-time as he throws on Broom for Camara.
92'
Alonso whips in from the left flank but a wall of white shirts greet the cross as they crowd in front of Cooper's goal. Chelsea are going to have to be more inventive to break through Schumacher's well-drilled unit.
91'
The visitors get the first half of extra-time under way!
90' +2
END OF 90 MINUTES: CHELSEA 1-1 PLYMOUTH ARGYLE
90' +1
There will be two minutes of added time for the Blues to salvage a finish to this game in normal time, otherwise they are going to have to fight for another result in an additional 30 minutes of extra-time.
90'
Lukaku plays the role of creator once more and feeds through for Werner. The German edges towards goal before Wilson comes seemingly out of nowhere to produce a last-ditch tackle.
88'
Chelsea win their 18th corner of the game but, despite having continuous opportunities to try their luck from these situations, again fail to create a chance on Cooper's goal.
86'
Ziyech eases past Grant and blasts towards the far corner, only to see another of his strikes deflected behind. Mount swings in but, as has been the case all game, the away side clear with relatively little fuss.
83'
Mount fires into Gillesphey for yet another Chelsea corner. Ziyech is the man to take it, but Plymouth again remain firm to head clear.
82'
T. Werner enters the game and replaces M. Kovačić.
The Blues make another substitution as they replace Kovacic with Werner.
80'
Another Blues corner comes, but this time on the left-hand side. Mount angles towards the far post and, after a few attempted headers, Plymouth launch a clearance towards Arrizabalaga.
79'
Ziyech whips in a free-kick that he won on the right flank, with numerous Chelsea bodies waiting in the middle. Azpilicueta rises the highest but sees his header deflected over the bar.
77'
A. Randell enters the game and replaces D. Mayor.
Schumacer sends on his third change as Randell replaces Mayor.
76'
The Argyle faithful continue in their vocal support as their team win a corner on the left-hand side. Houghton swings in, but Arrizabalaga stands tall once more to claim the cross and avert the danger.
70'
The Blues have 20 minutes to find a winner, otherwise this FA Cup tie is heading to extra-time. That is exactly what the hosts will not want, given they will soon jet off to the Club World Cup next week.
68'
R. Hardie enters the game and replaces J. Garrick.
Schumacher opts for his second change as he sends on Hardie for Garrick.
66'
Houghton angles in a rare corner for the visitors, but Arrizabalaga does well to parry above a mountain of bodies crammed inside his six-yard area.
65'
Grant powers forward, smashing a cross into the face of Azpilicueta and winning a corner on the left - unsurprisingly, the Plymouth faithful go berserk in their support inside the Shed End of Stamford Bridge.
64'
K. Havertz enters the game and replaces C. Hudson-Odoi.
The Blues make their first substitution as Hudson-Odoi wanders off to be replaced by Havertz.
Alonso brings down a wayward Hudson-Odoi cross and sets his sights on the top-left corner, only to blast high and wide of Cooper's goal.
63'
Houghton intercepts in midfield and looks to send Ennis towards goal. However, Rudiger shows all his experience to coast across, intervene and then play back to Arrizabalaga.
61'
Hudson-Odoi twists and turns, with the chance to cross then appearing as he angles towards the front post. Lukaku looms but Cooper is quick off his line to collect in front of the striker.
60'
The game at Stamford Bridge has now gone past the hour-mark and Plymouth somehow remain level, despite venturing out their half on very few occasions. Chelsea keep knocking the door down, but have no reward to show for their work so far.
58'
N. Ennis enters the game and replaces L. Jephcott.
Schumacher makes his first change as he brings on Ennis for Jephcott up top.
57'
Lukaku again sneaks in behind the Plymouth defence, with the ball then falling to Mount after numerous blocked chances. The England midfielder pokes towards goal, but sees his strike deflected behind for a corner.
56'
Schumacher may be wondering how long his side can see out this prolonged spell of Chelsea dominance. With how things are going, it appears a case of when, not if, a Chelsea goal is coming.
54'
Hudson-Odoi drives forward and makes it to the edge of the area, where he unleashes a tame right-footed effort. Cooper watches it all the way and saves with ease.
50'
Grant turns behind for another corner as the Blues bombard the Plymouth goal. Ziyech swings in the set-piece towards the near post, where Sarr cannot quite head towards the target.
49'
As expected, the second half has started exactly how the first ended with Chelsea on the front foot. On this occasion, Kovacic roams through the middle but Cooper rushes off his line to collect in front of the midfielder.
47'
Hudson-Odoi comes flying out the blocks and wins a corner on the left, which Mount delivers. Azpilicueta looks to have edged in front of his man but the ball deflects off his shoulder and away from Cooper's goal.
46'
Marcos Alonso enters the game and replaces A. Christensen.
Referee Hooper gets the second half under way!
Chelsea act at half-time by sending on Alonso for Christensen, presumably meaning they will now operate with Sarr at centre-back.
45' +3
HALF-TIME: CHELSEA 1-1 PLYMOUTH ARGYLE
45' +1
There will be two minutes of added time as the two sides battle on after Azpilicueta cancelled out Gillesphey's opener.
45'
Schumacher will just want his side to make it to half-time now and weather the rest of this first-half storm. For the moment, they are doing just that as Grant hooks out of play on the left.
43'
It is hard to say that goal was not coming after Chelsea struck the woodwork three times. Credit, though, must go to Azpilicueta for a wonderful finish that belied his position as a right-back.
41'
César Azpilicueta has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by M. Mount.
GOOOOOAL! CHELSEA EQUALISE TO MAKE IT 1-1! Kovacic is patient as he works towards the right flank, where Mount drills a low cross towards the near post. Azpilicueta finds himself unusually far forward and finishes past Cooper from close range with an audacious, flicked finish.
Mount has a bit of time and space on the right-hand side and fires a low cross towards the front post, where Azpilicueta improvises to score past Cooper.
40'
Mount angles a cross towards the near post as Hudson-Odoi hovers looking for a chance. Cooper, though, is first to the ball and manages to catch at the second attempt.
39'
Lukaku and Rudiger clamber over their opposite men and referee Hooper awards a free-kick to Plymouth inside their own area.
36'
A rare foray forward for Garrick sees Grant with possession on the left. He plays inside to Mayor, who fails to find a colleague and the Blues intercept.
32'
Camara needlessly jumps out to tackle Kovacic and the Croatian offloads to Azpilicueta with ease. The Spaniard crosses towards the back post, but no Chelsea team-mate gambles and Plymouth clear in straightforward fashion.
29'
Ziyech turns Grant inside and out but, despite beating the wing-back, his cross is wayward and nowhere near the waiting Lukaku inside the area. The Blues have lacked fluidity so far, even though they have seen the majority of possession.
27'
Waves and waves of attacks from the hosts keep coming and this time it is Azpilicueta who wins a corner on the right. Ziyech swings it in and Houghton, who assisted the opener, heads behind.
24'
Ziyech drives forward and wins a corner off the head of Scarr, which the Moroccan delivers towards the near post. Rudiger flicks on towards Cooper's left but there is no Blues team-mate to convert from close range.
23'
Hudson-Odoi has acres of space down the left flank after a one-two with Kovacic and makes it to the byline. Wilson, however, comes across and does an excellent job in forcing the forward out of play for a goal-kick.
21'
Hudson-Odoi sets his sights on Ziyech at the far post but Grant has a different idea as he climbs the highest to head clear, much to the delight of Cooper who greets the clearance with applause.
19'
Jorginho gets yellow.
Jorginho has one or two attempts at pulling down Jephcott near the centre-circle and eventually manages to do so. Unsurprisingly, he becomes the first name in referee Hooper’s book.
18'
Arrizabalaga comes racing out towards the halfway line to intercept in front of Jephcott. Any chance that the visitors get to go forward is being greeted with vociferous support from the thousands of travelling supporters.
17'
Schumacher's team have rarely made it out of their own half but somehow boast a one-goal lead at Stamford Bridge. Tuchel will be wondering how his side can break down the wall of Plymouth defenders camped in front of Cooper's goal.
15'
Ziyech and Mount both attempt to cross but cannot beat the wall of white shirts. Kovacic then tries his luck, and despite Cooper spilling the initial catch, the visitors hook a clearance away from the incoming Lukaku.
13'
Camara lines up a strike as he looks for the top-left corner, however, Rudiger and Sarr combine in front of Arrizabalaga's goal to block the opportunity.
11'
The Blues have dominated from minute one but find themselves a goal behind due to Gillesphey's moment of magic - a goal he or the Argyle faithful will likely never forget.
10'
Kovacic almost immediately responds as he blasts towards the near post, but Cooper and Plymouth just about remove the opportunity with a combination of flailing bodies and limbs blocking the effort.
8'
M. Gillesphey has scored a goal for Plymouth Argyle! Assist by J. Houghton.
GOOOOOOOOOALLLL! 1-0 PLYMOUTH! The visitors are in dreamland as Gillesphey nods into the bottom-right corner. Schumacher’s men win a free-kick on the left flank, which Houghton delivers towards the six-yard area and the centre-back does the rest as he flicks past Arrizabalaga.

5'
Schumacher's side have their first spell in possession but that comes to an end as Kovacic and Azpilicueta intervene. The Blues attempt an intricate move down the far touchline, which reaches its conclusion when Ziyech drills from range into Cooper's hands.
2'
Ziyech rolls through for Azpilicueta but his cross from the right-hand side cannot beat the first man and the away side just about manage to clear.
1'
Referee Simon Hooper gets proceedings under way!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the FA Cup fourth-round clash between Chelsea and Plymouth Argyle.
Chelsea cruised past Chesterfield 5-1 at Stamford Bridge in the third round to make it to this stage of the competition. However, they will be without their head coach Thomas Tuchel for this game after the German tested positive for COVID-19 prior to kick-off, though he is expected to return before the Blues depart for the Club World Cup next week.
Plymouth battled past Sheffield Wednesday in a first-round replay before edging past Rochdale in the following round to make the third round. A 1-0 win away at Championship side Birmingham City then earned them a place in the fourth round, where they are rewarded with a trip to Premier League giants Chelsea.
CHELSEA (3-5-2): Kepa Arrizabalaga; Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen; Malang Sarr, Jorginho, Mason Mount, Mateo Kovacic, Hakim Ziyech; Romelu Lukaku, Callum Hudson-Odoi.
SUBSTITUTES: James Bolton, Niall Ennis, Finley Craske, Ryan Law, Ryan Hardie, Callum Burton, Alfie Lewis, Ryan Broom, Adam Randell.
PLYMOUTH ARGYLE (3-5-2): Michael Cooper; Macaulay Gillesphey, James Wilson, Dan Scarr; Joe Edwards, Panutche Camara, Jordan Houghton, Danny Mayor, Conor Grant; Jordan Garrick, Luke Jephcott.
SUBSTITUTES: Saul Niguez, Timo Werner, Teddy Sharman-Lowe, Kai Havertz, Marcos Alonso, Marcus Bettinelli, Trevoh Chalobah, Ross Barkley, Kenedy.
Both teams are making their way out onto the pitch, could a famous FA Cup upset be on the cards for the visitors?
Schumacher will simply be asking for more of the same from his side, who have been up against it from the first minute and managed just under 25 per cent of possession. Chelsea, without their head coach Tuchel, may feel that it is just a matter of time before a second goal comes if they keep playing the way they are doing at the moment.
Another 30 minutes of extra-time is required after Chelsea have failed to dispatch Plymouth in 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge. The visitors stunned their hosts through Gillesphey’s opener, but Azpilicueta levelled things up. The Blues, however, were unable to find a crucial second goal and this tie is going the distance!
This will be exactly what Tuchel, who is absent due to contracting COVID-19, will not have wanted ahead of an increasingly busy schedule. Middlesbrough pulled off an upset at Old Trafford on Friday on penalties, can Plymouth do the same in extra-time?
Chelsea have pressed and pushed for their second goal and it finally arrived after 106 minutes of football. Alonso converted past Cooper to put the Blues in command, and those inside Stamford Bridge must think the hosts have their destiny in their own hands now.
That is all from this FA Cup fourth-round tie, until next time!
Chelsea now head to the Club World Cup, where they will play in the semi-final on Wednesday. Plymouth, meanwhile, travel to Crewe the day before as they return to their League One campaign.
