Solomon shows quick feet to skip beyond Ibanez down the left flank, and the defender cynically trips him with an attack looming. The Brazilian is given the first yellow card of the match.

Hello and welcome to live match coverage of the Europa League round of 16 second-leg fixture between Shakhtar Donetsk and Roma at Kiev Olympic Stadium.
Following their 3-0 defeat in the first leg, Shakhtar bounced back in the Ukrainian Premier League, recording a four-goal victory over Desna. Roma, on the other hand, returned to Serie A and suffered a 2-0 away loss to Parma.
ROMA SUBS: Daniel Fuzato, Antonio Mirante, Riccardo Calafiori, Gianluca Mancini, Davide Santon, Bruno Peres, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Stephan El Shaarawy, Edin Dzeko.
Although Castro’s side have it all to do it the second leg, the hosts have won each of their last three home knockout matches in the Europa League. Coming into this must-win clash, Shakhtar have won just two of their last five games in all competitions, although they have kept two home clean sheets in that time. Roma, meanwhile, have suffered defeat in just one of their last nine Europa League matches. Moreover, the Yellow and Reds have scored seven goals on the road in four games.
The teams are out, and kick-off will soon be upon us here at Kiev Olympic Stadium.
Although they are yet to find the breakthrough, Castro will be pleased with his team’s first-half display. Crucially, the hosts have not conceded an away goal, meaning that they still need three goals to send the tie into extra-time. Dodo and Solomon have looked bright thus far, and Shakhtar’s greatest threat will likely continue to be down the flanks after the restart. Roma, meanwhile, have been professional in their approach. The Yellow and Reds have frustrated their opponents and are still in control with only 45 minutes left in the tie.
Shakhtar will look to bounce back in their next Ukrainian top-flight match against Lviv. Roma, who find out their quarter-final opponents on March 19th, will hope to make it back-to-back wins when they host Napoli in Serie A.
That brings an end to our coverage of the Europa League round of 16 second-leg clash between Shakhtar Donetsk and Roma at Kiev Olympic Stadium. Thank you very much for joining us. Goodbye!
