Schlager has become the latest player to go into the referee’s book.
90' +2
X. Schlager gets yellow.
90' +1
There will be four minutes of added time.
89'
Though not as proficient as last week’s display, it has still been a clinical, professional performance from Dortmund, who are heading back to within a point of Bayern, as things stand.
86'
M. Arnold gets yellow.
85'
Victor Sá enters the game and replaces A. Mehmedi.
Arnold has now gone into the book, having caught Hakimi with his elbow.
83'
M. Schmelzer enters the game and replaces Raphaël Guerreiro.
L. Balerdi enters the game and replaces T. Delaney.
A double change for Dortmund. The first substitution sees Schmelzer come on for Guerreiro, who opened the scoring in the first half.
Balerdi, meanwhile, has replaced Delaney, who has been typically impressive in midfield for Dortmund today.
82'
F. Klaus goes off after a red card!
RED CARD! It gets worse for Wolfsburg! Klaus’ tackle did not seem to be intentional, with his eyes having been on the ball. The referee, however, has decided it was worthy of a sending off, and the substitute is gone.
79'
G. Reyna enters the game and replaces T. Hazard.
Minute
Description
78'
A. Hakimi has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund! Assist by J. Sancho.
GOAL! DORTMUND MAKE IT 2-0! That could well be game over now, as Sancho drives forward from deep and, unchallenged, lays it off to Hakimi, who keeps his cool to slot home into the bottom-left corner.
Sancho has not been on long, but his pace on the counter there was devastating. The youngster had the awareness to pick out Hakimi, and duly register his 16th assist of the campaign.
76'
Brooks is involved at the other end now, as he unleashes a swerving half-volley from just inside the area. Burki, though, never looked likely to be threatened.
74'
T. Hazard gets yellow.
That’s a booking for Hazard, who took no chances and dived in on Mbabu to prevent Wolfsburg countering down the right flank.
68'
Wolfsburg are certainly pushing higher upfield now, with all 10 outfield players camping in Dortmund’s half. If the visitors can get Sancho away on the break, however, it could be devastating.
66'
Sancho is involved straight away, nipping away from Brooks and drawing a foul, which sees the Wolfsburg defender go into the book.
65'
J. Sancho enters the game and replaces J. Brandt.
J. Brooks gets yellow.
Another change for Dortmund. Brandt’s race is run, with Sancho now coming on to offer some real pace to the visitors’ attack.
64'
J. Brekalo enters the game and replaces D. Ginczek.
F. Klaus enters the game and replaces J. Roussillon.
Roussillon sustained a knock earlier on and has not really offered much since. He has now been replaced by Klaus, in the first of two Wolfsburg changes.
Ginczek got the winner against Augsburg yet has failed to impress today, and now he has made way for Brekalo.
61'
Another missed chance for Wolfsburg! Medmedi does well to twist and turn his way clear of several defenders before prodding in a cross which evades everyone, only to then find Arnold at the back post. He can’t adjust his feet quickly enough, though, and Dortmund are able top clear their lines.
60'
D. Ginczek gets yellow.
57'
It’s a disappointing free-kick from Arnold, who directs a weak shot straight into the Dortmund wall.
55'
T. Delaney gets yellow.
A first booking of the game goes the way of Delaney, who lunged in late and high on Arnold.
53'
With Hummels now out of Dortmund’s defence, and that early chance for Steffen, Wolfsburg should be confident they can make some inroads. However, they have to be much more adventurous than they were in the first half, meaning there could be gaps for Dortmund to exploit at the back.
46'
E. Can enters the game and replaces M. Hummels.
Wolfsburg get the second half underway!
There has been one change at half-time. Hummels has gone off for Dortmund, with Can coming on to replace him.
45' +2
HALF-TIME: WOLFSBURG 0-1 BORUSSIA DORTMUND.
45'
There are to be two minutes of added time.
41'
Bar a hopeful header from Weghorst, Wolfsburg have hardly threatened, with neither of their strikers having been heavily involved. So far, so easy for Dortmund, who have scored with the game’s only clear chance.
39'
Wolfsburg win a free-kick out on the right which the left-footed Arnold curls into the area. The ball drops right on the penalty spot, but Burki had darted out early and collects with ease.
32'
Raphaël Guerreiro has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund! Assist by T. Hazard.
GOOOOAALLL!!! Dortmund hit the front, it’s 1-0! Finally, the visitors manage to get in behind Wolfsburg’s defence – Brandt releasing Hakimi, who in turn feeds Hazard. His cross is missed, rather comically, by Haaland, but Guerreiro is well placed to tuck home.
Hazard played a fine pass into Haaland, yet the the Norwegian – for once – failed to show his usual composure in front of goal. But the Belgian gets his 12th assist of the season regardless, thanks to the placement of Guerreiro, who has now scored three goals in two matches.
29'
Despite seeing plenty of the ball, Dortmund have lacked composure and penetration once they have reached the final third. They found things easy against Schalke last time out, yet so far today are missing a cutting edge.
27'
Mehmedi gets down the left for Wolfsburg and flicks in a cross, which Weghorst gets to. His header, however, flies over the top-right corner.
26'
It’s good play from Haaland to win a towering header in midfield and release Brandt, yet the former Bayer Leverkusen playmaker fails to find a team-mate with his pass and the attack breaks down.
24'
Wolfsburg have managed to wrest back some possession in recent minutes, and the only meaningful attempt of the match from either side remains that Hazard shot.
19'
Mbabu looks to be Wolfsburg’s main outlet, with the full-back pushing high up the right flank. Again, he delivers a decent, searching cross, this time to the back post, but no team-mate can get on the end of it.
14'
Dahoud has made an impressive start for Dortmund in the heart of midfield. He is normally down the pecking order but, with injuries to Axel Witsel and Marco Reus – whose usual inclusion up top would allow Brandt to play deeper – he is getting a good run in the side.
12'
Neither side has settled into their rhythm as of yet, though Dortmund seem to be starting to click through the gears when they approach the final third. No chances as of yet, though.
10'
A well-crafted Dortmund attack sees Haaland lay Guerreiro’s cross into Brandt, who in turn attempts to dig out a low ball into the six-yard box, though it is cut out at the near post.
7'
Wolfsburg are certainly pressing high in the opening stages, with Mbabu driving forward down the right and lofting in a decent cross. Weghorst attempts to meet it, but Hummels puts him off, with the header looping harmlessly into Burki’s arms.
3'
An early pause in play, as the referee requires some assistance with his equipment. Play gets restarted with a Wolfsburg throw-in high upfield, yet the hosts only manage to concede possession, though Haaland can’t take advantage the counter.

KICK-OFF! We are up and running at Volkswagen Arena!
Hello and welcome to LIVE coverage of the Bundesliga, as title contenders Borussia Dortmund take on Wolfsburg!
There were wins for both of these sides last time out, as the Bundesliga kicked back into gear following a two-month absence. Wolfsburg got the better of Augsburg, while Dortmund thrashed Schalke 4-0 in the Revierderby.
With Bayern Munich playing later on today, Dortmund would move within one point of the Bundesliga leaders should they come up with a sixth straight league victory. Sixth-placed Wolfsburg are in solid form, however, and head into this match on the back of seven games unbeaten.
WOLFSBURG SUBS: Josip Brekalo, Robin Knoche, Joao Victor, Marcel Tisserand, Felix Klaus, Julian Justvan, Luca Horn, Omar Marmoush, Pavao Pervan.
WOLFSBURG (4-4-2): Koen Casteels; Kevin Mbabu, Marin Pongracic, John Brooks, Jerome Roussillon; Renato Steffen, Maximilian Arnold, Xaver Schlager, Admir Mehmedi; Wout Weghorst, Daniel Ginczek.
DORTMUND SUBS: Leonardo Balerdi, Marcel Schmelzer, Giovanni Reyna, Tobias Raschl, Mateu Morey, Emre Can, Mario Gotze, Marwin Hitz, Jadon Sancho.
DORTMUND (3-4-3): Roman Burki; Lukas Piszczek, Mats Hummels, Manuel Akanji; Achraf Hakimi, Thomas Delaney, Mahmoud Dahoud, Raphael Guerreiro; Thorgan Hazard, Erling Haaland, Julian Brandt.
Wolfsburg are unlikely to be pushing for a Champions League place, but do have the Europa League in their sites. Meanwhile, Dortmund know that any slip up could all but hand Bayern – who they face next – the title. Both teams are now out onto the pitch, in front of once again empty stands.
Wolfsburg have been poor and must surely improve after the break, so Favre will know his Dortmund side could do with at least another goal to wrap up this result and move to within touching distance of Bayern, who face Eintracht Frankfurt later.
That’s all for now. Until next time, goodbye!
Wolfsburg remain in sixth, but face a tough trip to Bayer Levekusen next, while Dortmund pit their wits against their title rivals.
