Mount is unable to control the ball on the edge of the area. It drops to the feet of Emerson, but he shows why he is playing at left-back as he drags his shot wide.
90'
Lamptey cannot quite get a touch to James' cross as we enter three minutes of added time at Stamford Bridge.
89'
CHANCE! Carvalho's free-kick drops in a dangerous zone, with Chelsea's static defenders getting nowhere near it, but nobody in a red shirt can convert. That has to go down as a good chance for Forest late in the game.
88'
Mighten beats Tomori to the ball and is shoved in the back by his opponent. The young winger really has been terrific today.
87'
Forest's latest attack comes to a disappointing end as Mighten is unable to pick out a team-mate. The visitors have around eight minutes to find a couple of goals.
85'
Chelsea won this fixture 2-0 last season at the same stage and it is looking as though it will finish that way today. The Blues are backing off a little more now, knowing that it is down to Forest to find a way through.
83'
We are into the final 10 minutes at Stamford Bridge and, in truth, not a great deal is happening. A goal for Forest would make things interesting but it is Chelsea who are looking the more threatening in the final third when they do get the ball that far forward.
81'
Y. En-Neyah enters the game and replaces B. Johnson.
Forest's final change sees debutant En-Neyah take over from Johnson.
79'
Mighten has three Chelsea players around him and is unable to wriggle free. Even if Forest have been underwhelming today, the teenage winger can hold his head up high.
Minute
Description
77'
R. Yates gets yellow.
Yates fouls Hudson-Odoi and becomes the second player to be booked.
76'
T. Lamptey enters the game and replaces Pedro.
Pedro is replaced by Lamptey, who recently made his Premier League debut in the away win at Arsenal.
75'
Mount has added some creativity to Chelsea's game since coming on and he wins his side a corner, which is cleared away. Mighten leads the counter and is wiped out by Emerson, who is fortunate to avoid being booked.
73'
Chelsea are playing risk-free football at the moment. The onus is on Forest to score the game's next goal and at the moment that does not look like happening, even if they did have one ruled out for offside less than 10 minutes ago.
69'
M. Mount enters the game and replaces M. Kovačić.
T. Fornah enters the game and replaces Alfa Semedo.
One youngster is replaced by another as Semedo leaves the pitch and Fornah comes on.
Kovacic is replaced by Mount in Chelsea's first change of the contest.
65'
R. James gets yellow.
Jorginho is fortunate to avoid a booking for his rash challenge on Johnson. Jorginho then fouls Mighten less than a minute later.
Johnson sends a low free-kick from 25 yards into the Chelsea wall. Forest keep the attack alive and James catches Ribeiro, leading to the first booking of the contest.
64'
Hudson-Odoi and Pedro exchange passes and the former should really be getting a shot away. He fails to do some and the attack breaks down in the opposition box.
59'
Kovacic miscues his shot off target. Chelsea have not at all been there in the early stages of the second half - that will have to change if they are to see the job through in a stress-free manner.
58'
Hudson-Odoi tees up Barkley, who gets a shot away from the edge of the box at the second attempt, only to hit a sea of Forest bodies.
57'
SAVE! Caballero finally has something to do. It is the simplest of saves, though, as Carvalho's shot from 25 yards is right down the middle.
56'
Hudson-Odoi is played in behind and has options to pick out, but the offside flag goes up. Replays show he was quite clearly onside, though, and play should have been allowed to continue.
55'
Yates goes in hard on Kovacic and the Chelsea midfielder is not at all happy. The referee tells him to calm down and play resumes without a card being shown to either player.
53'
Chelsea do not really have any real rhythm to their game in the second half. Emerson charges towards the opposition box but Johnson produces a fine challenge to win back the ball cleanly.
51'
Johnson carries the ball past a couple of Chelsea players but Tomori stands firm and Chelsea have a goal-kick. This game is not quite over at 2-0, but a third goal for Chelsea will kill things off.
49'
Forest need to do more when they turn over possession. Goalkeeper Smith launches it forward and it goes straight through to opposite number Caballero.
48'
Chelsea are easing their way into this second half by passing the ball around the back and into midfield. It is then worked forward to Hudson-Odoi, but Ribeiro is quickly across to cut out the danger at the expense of a corner.
46'
Y. Benalouane enters the game and replaces Tobias Figueiredo.
Figueiredo, Forest's only survivor from their win over Blackburn Rovers on New Year's Day, is replaced by Pereira for the start of the second half.
RESTART! Forest, needing a couple of goals to earn a replay, get us back up and running at Stamford Bridge.
45' +3
HALF-TIME: CHELSEA 2-0 NOTTINGHAM FOREST
42'
Chelsea are up to 344 passes, compared to 116 for their opponents. But in Mighten the visitors have a youngster of real talent, and he creates something from nothing by getting at the hosts' defence and sending a teasing cross into the six-yard box. Nobody in a red top is there to help it in.
40'
Hudson-Odoi decides against running at his man and plays the ball to James, whose latest first-time cross is a tad too deep.
39'
The vastly experienced Dawson heads clear Kovacic's cross into the middle. Jorginho then fizzes a pass into the feet of Batshuayi, who tries to lay it off to a team-mate with his first touch but fails to do so.
37'
The atmosphere is very flat in the stands, reflecting events on the pitch. Chelsea are cruising towards a place in the fourth round thanks to strikes from Hudson-Odoi and Barkley. Forest need to find some inspiration from somewhere.
35'
Pedro's delicate chip into the box is hooked clear. Ribeiro, being tested to the max today by Hudson-Odoi and James, conceded a free-kick for a foul on the former.
33'
R. Barkley has scored a goal for Chelsea!
GOOOOOAAAAALLLL!!!! CHELSEA 2-0 NOTTINGHAM FOREST!! Barkley doubles Chelsea's lead! Hudson-Odoi cuts in from the right, just like he did for his opening goal, but Smith manages to make the save on this occasion. The ball drops nicely for Barkley to convert, though, and the Blues now have some breathing space.
31'
Chelsea are still probing away for a second goal. They have had 77 per cent of the ball and had eight shots, half of those on target.
30'
Hudson-Odoi is having plenty of fun down the Chelsea right, but Forest double up on him and create a brick wall of sorts. The Blues are still on top but Forest are at least looking to get the ball forward now.
29'
Going back to that Forest penalty decision, Adomah could have slipped in Carvalho to his left and that, in hindsight, would have been the better decision. Chelsea have been dominant in this first half, but their lead remains slender as we approach the half-hour mark.
27'
Hudson-Odoi passes the ball to Barkley on the edge of the box. The England midfielder spins and gets a shot away, which is pretty simple for Smith to deal with in the Forest goal. From the next attack, Batshuayi heads over James' cross.
22'
Caballero catches the corner and Chelsea launch a quick counter. Pedro gets away a shot from the edge of the box that looks to be heading for the corner, but the ball hits the heel of the offside Batshuayi. Hugely disappointing!
20'
For all of Chelsea's dominance, they have not really created a great deal in the opening quarter of the match. In fact, Forest are now starting to grow into the game a little as Johnson gets forward and wins his side their first corner.
18'
Emerson's low cross from the right causes some panic in the box, but Dawson does well to leave it for Smith to gather.
17'
Mighten is proving to be a good out-ball for the visitors. He draws the foul from Tomori to relieve some of the pressure on his side. It does not last long, with Hudson-Odoi getting forward and winning a corner for the dominant hosts.
13'
It is difficult to be too critical of Forest given the changes made, but Sabri Lamouchi will surely not be too happy with his side's defending. There is zero press on the ball and players are instead backing off. Christensen opts to have a go but is off target with his attempt.
11'
Forest have settled into a 4-5-1 shape, as expected, but they are struggling to contain their opponents. Chelsea are continuing to knock the ball around with ease and James is being given all the time and space in the world to get crosses into the middle.
9'
James sends in a delightful ball from the right that is crying out for Batshuayi to help in, but he fails to do so at full stretch. Chelsea are knocking on the door for a second goal.
7'
If the opening stages are anything to go by, this could be a long day for Forest. Chelsea are dominating possession and are only growing in confidence following that early breakthrough goal from Hudson-Odoi.
6'
C. Hudson-Odoi has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by Pedro.
Pedro picked out Hudson-Odoi to his right and the young forward did the rest. Terrible defending - and goalkeeping - from Forest, that!
GOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLL!!! CHELSEA 1-0 NOTTINGHAM FOREST!! Hudson-Odoi gives Chelsea an early lead! The home side pass the ball around the field under little pressure and it is worked to Hudson-Odoi on the right side of the box. He brings it inside and catches out Smith at his near post. Far too easy!
5'
Highly-rated Forest youngster Mighten turns away from a couple of players and is hacked down by Christensen. He looks as though he will be a handful for the hosts today.
4'
The home side have done well to keep hold of possession in the early stages. It looks as though Forest will focus on the counter-attack.
3'
Chelsea may have made nine changes from their last outing, but this is still a very strong side on paper. Hudson-Odoi, one of those looking to recapture his best form, charges towards the opposition defence but loses possession.

KICK-OFF! Chelsea get this FA Cup third-round tie under way! Can an inexperienced Forest side pull off an upset?
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the FA Cup third-round tie between Chelsea and Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.
Subs: Mason Mount, Jamie Cumming, Tariq Lamptey, Olivier Giroud, Cesar Azpilicueta, Willian, Antonio Rudiger.
Subs: Michael Hefele, Tyrese Fornah, Jordan Lawrence-Gabriel, George Shelvey, Yassine En-Neyah, Yohan Benalouane, Liam Sole.
NOTTINGHAM FOREST XI (4-1-4-1): Jordan Smith; Carl Jenkinson, Michael Dawson (c), Tobias Figueiredo, Yuri Ribeiro; Alfa Semedo; Albert Adomah, Ryan Yates, Joao Carvalho, Alex Mighten; Brennan Johnson.
Forest have won the competition on two occasions, most recently doing so in 1959. The glory days are now very much a thing of the past for the Midlands club, who have not played top-flight football in close to 16 years and are currently fourth in the Championship. They have been eliminated at this third-round stage in six of the last 10 seasons, including a 2-0 loss at this very ground a year ago to the day.
CHELSEA XI (4-3-3): Willy Caballero; Reece James, Andreas Christensen, Fikayo Tomori, Emerson Palmieri; Ross Barkley, Jorginho (c), Mateo Kovacic; Pedro, Michy Batshuayi, Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The teams are coming out onto the pitch at Stamford Bridge, with kick-off just moments away.
Eight-time winners of the competition Chelsea enter this match on the back of some largely disappointing results, having most recently been held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Wednesday. Frank Lampard's men did manage to pick up a dramatic late win at Arsenal last week, but that is just one of four wins in their last 11 matches. They last lifted the FA Cup in 2018 when winning a tense final against Manchester United, the side that eliminated them at the fifth-round stage last season.
If the penalty had been given, and indeed converted, it would have been a different game entirely in west London. As it is, however, Chelsea are looking very comfortable and will back themselves to score at least once more in the remaining 45 minutes. Lampard may be tempted to take off Hudson-Odoi after he pulled up towards the end of the first half, while Forest boss Lamouchi could give much-needed minutes to Benalouane and Hefele on their returns from injury lay-offs.
There will be a delay of five minutes to the second half as one of the match officials has been injured.
That's all for today's live coverage. Thanks for joining!
Chelsea can now look forward to Monday's fourth-round draw. Lampard's men return to Premier League action next Saturday with a home match against Burnley, while Forest travel to Reading in the Championship on the same day.
