Chelsea saw their six game winning streak in the Premier League come to an end last weekend against Manchester City, suffering a 2-1 defeat, to leave the Blues fourth in the table. They also suffered some disappointment in the Champions League on Wednesday, drawing 2-2 with Valencia, to leave qualification to the knockout stages in the balance.
The Hammers have failed to win any of their last seven league games, suffering five defeats and two draws, to leave them just one place above the relegation zone, with just 13 points. They suffered a 3-2 defeat against Tottenham last time out.
