Reinildo is fouled by Pedro in Lille's half. Lille are rapidly running out of time.
90' +1
There'll be four minutes of stoppage time here. Lille put together some nice interplay on the edge of Chelsea's box, which results in Xeka dinking a tidy but powerless shot into Kepa's arms.
89'
Lille are working hard to force their way back into this but Chelsea are doing well at keeping them at bay. Pedro wins a foul off Xeka in Lille's half, wasting a few precious seconds.
87'
M. Kovačić enters the game and replaces M. Mount.
Chelsea make their final change. Kovacic comes on for Mount for the last few minutes.
85'
Pedro enters the game and replaces Willian.
Chelsea change. Pedro comes on for Willian, who deserves his applause. His experience may yet give Chelsea the three points here.
81'
Bamba wriggles his way into the Chelsea box but can't keep the ball in play. Chelsea are wisely focusing on defending now, trying their best not to make any mistakes.
79'
Lille react to that goal by playing with increased urgency. Xeka plays a through-ball for Osimhen but it's over-cooked. Chelsea still have to be careful.
77'
Willian has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by C. Hudson-Odoi.
GOAL! 2-1 CHELSEA! William thumps a volley into the ground at the far post and over the despairing Maignan into the net. Lampard pumps his fists in celebration.
Hudson-Odoi made the goal as he left Celik for dust near the corner flag and floated a magnificent ball across for Willian. Chelsea have been waiting for him to come back from injury, and you can see why.
75'
Xeka enters the game and replaces Luiz Araújo.
Lille substitution. Araujo off. Miguel Angelo da Silva Rocha - better known as Xeka - on.

Description
72'
Straight from that Hudson-Odoi cross, Lille counter and Osimhen blazes over from the edge of the box. Kepa plays the goal-kick quickly and Mount races through the middle, feeding Hudson-Odoi who fires on over himself. This is turning into a ding-dong finish.
70'
Sanches' first act is to give Chelsea a corner. Maignan comes out to claim. Shortly after, Hudson-Odoi's cross from the right causes Lille problems, but no one is at the far post to tuck it in!
69'
Renato Sanches enters the game and replaces B. André.
Andre's day is done for Lille. The 22-year-old Portuguese talent Sanches - formerly of Benfica, Bayern Munich and, er, Swansea City - will replace him in Lille's midfield.
68'
Andre's day is done for Lille. The 22-year-old Portuguese talent Sanches - formerly of Benfica, Bayern Munich and, er, Swansea City - will replace him in Lille's midfield.
67'
C. Hudson-Odoi enters the game and replaces R. James.
That's James' last act of the game. Not a bad debut for the teenager. He's replaced by Hudson-Odoi. Chelsea will change to their more usual 4-3-3.
66'
James fires in another cross from the right. It's headed out for another Chelsea throw. First, Chelsea will make a change.
64'
Chelsea are getting closer to scoring. Alonso rushes a first-time shot in the box which is blocked. Reinildo hooks the ball away.
63'
Willian takes on Gabriel at a footrace, Brazilian versus Brazilian. The 21-year-old defender wins, punting the ball out for a throw.
62'
Y. Yazıcı enters the game and replaces J. Ikoné.
Lille make that enforced change. Yazıcı takes Ikone's place.
58'
Ikone bears down on goal and Zouma slides in to win the ball, causing Ikone to land awkwardly. Lille's #10 looks to be in some pain. He hobbles off temporarily.
56'
Chelsea go on the attack again down their left through Mount, but Celik is there to shepherd the ball away from danger.
51'
Bamba takes the corner short and it's lofted in towards Fonte at the far post. The home fans shout for a penalty after Gabriel goes down, sandwiched between Tomori and Soumare, but it's only a corner.
50'
Lille make some progress down their left through Reinildo and Bamba. Reinildo blasts a cross into James and wins the home side a corner.
48'
Willian takes the corner and Alonso wins another one for Chelsea. This time Tomori heads over and it's a Lille goal-kick.
47'
James picks up the ball in plenty of space and fires in a bouncing cross that's hard for the Lille defence to deal with. Gabriel boots it out for a corner with Abraham lurking nearby.
45' +2
HALF-TIME: LILLE 1-1 CHELSEA
45'
Mount takes the free-kick from the left and Alonso heads over the bar. There will be two added minutes in this first half.
The two sides are back out for the second half. No changes at half-time.
44'
J. Ikoné gets yellow.
Ikone is next to see yellow for sending Tomori to the deck down the left flank. The Chelsea centre-back isn't afraid to get forward, as his assist showed earlier.
43'
Chelsea have regained control of the play for now, but not by much. It's been quite an even first half with neither side truly gaining a foothold.
41'
Mount wins a free-kick in a central position 20 yards from goal after he's brought down by Andre. Alonso steps up to take it and blasts his shot over the crossbar. The Lille fans were playing what sounded like an old fire engine siren to put him off.
39'
Abraham looks to find a team-mate with a through ball but it doesn't quite work out. Chelsea have started to pull themselves together after that setback.
35'
R. James gets yellow.
Lille seem buoyed by their goal. James is booked for bringing down Ikone down Lille's left.
33'
V. Osimhen has scored a goal for Lille! Assist by J. Bamba.
GOAL! 1-1 LILLE! Osimhen rises high at the far post above Tomori and Zouma from Bamba's corner and nods the ball into the net! Lille have pulled things level.
That was a great ball by Bamba, and this game's all square again. It's no less than Lille deserve for that last few minutes of pressure.
32'
Bamba goes over to take the corner and Osimhen fires wide from the centre of the box. Shortly after, Andre's shot from the six yard box is blocked by Alonso. It's another Lille corner.
28'
Lille are finding it hard to create much at the moment. The home side press Chelsea's defence in their half and Kepa calmly does a few keepie-uppies before lofting the ball away from Osimhen.
22'
T. Abraham has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by F. Tomori.
GOAL! 1-0 CHELSEA! Abraham's got it. Tomori curls an excellent ball into the box over the top of all the Lille defenders. Abraham coolly takes it down and finishes past Maignan.
That was a lovely ball in by Tomori, who looked like he's been playing with Abraham for Chelsea for years. Technically, he has, even if it hasn't been the first team.
20'
Celik is over-eager in closing down Alonso and gives away a foul. Lille push forward and Kepa rushes out to beat Osimhen to an aerial ball.
18'
Willian loses the ball and Reinildo loses out to Azpilicueta near the corner flag. Chelsea's captain is still only 30 but he's very much the elder statesman of this side.
16'
Jorginho arcs a lovely pass out wide to James. Gabriel hooks James' cross away. Chelsea get the ball back into the box quickly, Fonte can't head it completely away and Mount's follow-up is high and wide.
15'
A poor exchange between Azpilicueta and James gives Lille a throw down their left. Bamba tries to get forward for Lille but he's crowded out. Mount races towards the corner flag before the ball's put out of play.
14'
Zouma comes across to put a dangerous Lille pass out for a throw on Lille's right. Nothing comes of it and Chelsea get a throw of their own.
13'
It's been quite an even start to the game. Chelsea press Lille well on the ball, forcing Maignan to lump the ball forward to no one in particular.
11'
Play is stopped briefly. The referee Aleksey Kulbakov needs his equipment fixing. That isn't a euphemism.
10'
James curls in a cross from deep from the right. Maignan gets in front of Abraham to punch it away. The 19-year-old wing-back has started brightly for Chelsea.
9'
Lille take the corner short and Ikone rattles the legs of a defender with a shot. Chelsea get it away. The home side look up for this.
7'
Willian teases Bamba on the right flank before passing back inside. Lille win the ball and counter down the middle. James's interception lands as far as Ikone, whose shot nicks off Zouma for a corner.
5'
Chelsea get their first chance of the game. Alonso whips in a low cross from the left. Chelsea's attackers line up in the box to shoot but Lille manage to scramble it away.
3'
Chelsea are dictating the play in these early stages with Lille content to sit deep. Tomori wins a free-kick on the left, which is taken quickly.
1'
And we're off! Chelsea get this match underway.
James, making his Champions League debut tonight, makes a contribution early on. He's brought down in his own half by Reinildo, winning a free-kick.
Hello and welcome to our live text commentary of this UEFA Champions League Group H clash between Lille and Chelsea at Stade Pierre-Mauroy, Lille.
Frank Lampard's young Chelsea side got a taster of how unforgiving the Champions League can be when they were sucker-punched 1-0 by Valencia in their first group game. Here, they travel to play a Lille side who started their Group H campaign with a 3-0 defeat to last year's finalists Ajax.
Lille, too, are a team with promise. France's runners-up last year put out a side with an average age of 23 years and 277 days against Ajax - the youngest of any team on Matchday 1. A win for either team here would go some way towards showing just how much potential they have in this year's competition.
LILLE (4-2-3-1): Mike Maignan; Mehmet Zeki Celik, Jose Fonte (c), Gabriel, Reinildo; Benjamin Andre, Boubakary Soumare; Luiz Araujo, Jonathan Ikone, Jonathan Bamba; Victor Osimhen.
SUBS: Domagoj Bradaric, Renato Sanches, Leo Jardim, Yusuf Yazici, Adama Soumaoro, Loic Remy, Xeka.
CHELSEA (3-4-3): Kepa Arrizabalaga; Cesar Azpilicueta (c), Kurt Zouma, Fikayo Tomori; Reece James, N'Golo Kante, Jorginho, Marcos Alonso; Willian, Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount.
These sides have never met in European competition before - Lille will be the fifth French side that Chelsea have faced, while all six of Lille's previous Champions League games against English opposition have been against Manchester United. Lille won just one of those games, while Chelsea have never lost their first two games in a Champions League game. Will Chelsea maintain their record or will Lille fare better this time?
The two sides are out on the pitch - Lille are in their home red and blue strip, while Chelsea are wearing their away white kit.
That win sees Chelsea climb to second in Group H on three points. They're level on points with Valencia who went down 3-0 at home to Ajax. Ajax have two wins from two and look early favourites to win the group. Lille are bottom after two losses with no points.
Chelsea now return to domestic duty before they have to focus on their next two matchdays against Ajax. They're in with a chance of getting out of Group H, but unless they tighten up Ajax could scupper their hopes. That's all for now though. Goodbye!
