We're under way at the Emirates Stadium.
It will be Sanchez starting at right-back for Tottenham this afternoon and he begins by sending a long ball out of touch.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Arsenal and Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium.
It's the first North London derby of the season and both teams will be looking to lay down a marker as well as claim bragging rights over their rivals. Arsenal's impressive start to the season was brought to halt last week, suffering a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Liverpool. The Gunners made critical mistakes at the back and allowed Jurgen Klopp's men to secure a comfortable win. Unai Emery will be demanding a response this afternoon from his players to get back to winning ways.
Tottenham also have to bounce back after suffering a defeat against Newcastle at home last week. Joelinton scored the only goal of the game to condemn Spurs to ther first loss of the season. Mauricio Pochettino's men put forward a poor display and failed to make an impression in the final third. The form table in their past 10 league matches does not make for pretty reading for Spurs, putting pressure on them to produce a response this afternoon.
ARSENAL (4-3-3): Bernd Leno; Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, David Luiz, Sead Kolasinac; Lucas Torreira, Granit Xhaka, Matteo Guendouzi; Nicolas Pepe, Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubamenyang.
ARSENAL SUBS: Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Dani Ceballos, Mesut Ozil, Calum Chambers, Reiss Nelson, Emiliano Martinez, Joe Willock.
TOTTENHAM (4-2-3-1): Hugo Lloris; Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez, Jan Vertonghen, Danny Rose; Moussa Sisssoko, Harry Winks; Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen, Son Heung-min; Harry Kane.
TOTTENHAM SUBS: Giovani Lo Celso, Dele Alli, Paulo Gazzaniga, Serge Aurier, Lucas Moura, Oliver Skipp, Ben Davies.
Mauricio Pochettino will be furious that his side could not hold out until the break. They've been shaky at times at the back, but their ability on the counter has provided Arsenal with numerous problems. It will be a test of their resolve in the second half to see if they can outlast the Gunners as both defences are suspect to say the least.
Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
Domestic football in the major leagues takes a break for international matches. When the Premier League resumes in two weeks, Arsenal are next in action against Watford at Vicarage Road, while Spurs are at home against Crystal Palace.
