The teams are coming out onto the field now, with kick-off just moments away.
Sarri's side have looked in control of the match for the majority of the first half and he will be impressed with how his side have performed. They will be frustrated by the disallowed goal, but if they continue to push forward the way they did in the first half, then they look likely to add to their goal tally. Parma have had a couple of good opportunities on the counter-attack but they've struggled to get out of their own half. If they can get more of the ball in the second half, then they could create some good chances and trouble Szczesny after the break.
Juventus dominated the league last season and lifted the Serie A trophy for the eighth consecutive season. This year, there is a new man in the dugout as Maurizio Sarri takes charge of the reigning champions. The fans will have high expectations of their team again as they will want to see them finish on top once again. Parma are first up for them and it's a tough start for the home side, but they'll want to get off to a strong start in hopes of having more success than last year.
So, Juventus start their title defence off with a win, but will want to put in a more consistent performance when they face last seasons runners-up, Napoli, next weekend. As for Parma, they improved throughout the game and can take some positives into next week's game as they look for a win over Udinese.
