Milan need to win today and have other results go in their favour in order to secure Champions League football next season. They are currently fifth, just one point Inter and Atalanta, who face Empoli and Sassuolo respectively today. Goals from Krzysztof Piatek and Suso secured a 2-0 victory over Frosinone last time out.
This game has been end-to-end at times, with SPAL certainly not making it easy for the visitors, despite not having much to play for themselves. Milan have had a couple of chances to extend their lead, but Viviano in the SPAL goal, has made some excellent saves to deny Piatek and Calhanoglu.
