Valverde’s side, who clinched the title several weeks ago following their 1-0 win over Levante, are unbeaten in each of their last 11 home LaLiga matches. Getafe, on the other hand, currently sit in fourth spot and are three points clear of fifth-placed Valencia. Pepe Bordalas’ team have only won one of their last six away matches and will be seeking to end their poor run of form away from home today as they look to clinch the final Champions League spot in LaLiga.

The home side grew into the game as the first half went on and will be relieved to be leading at the break.
