Massimiliano Allegri will be looking for a response after Juventus’ 27-match Serie A unbeaten record was ended by Genoa before the international break. Juventus lost 2-0 at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris in their first defeat of the season, but they remain 15 points clear of Napoli at the Serie A summit. Meanwhile, Empoli are battling to remain in Italy’s top-flight and sit just one point above the relegation zone, but they secured a key 2-1 victory over Frosinone last time out.
