Sims bundles Walker-Peters over on the right needlessly. St. Mary's holds its breath as Eriksen steps up, but it comes to nothing and the final whistle goes!

Sissoko is also shown the yellow card for his part in proceedings.
Redmond and Sissoko clash off the ball and there's a brief altercation between the two. The referee watches and proceeds to book both players.

81'
J. Ward-Prowse has scored a goal for Southampton!
GOAL! SOUTHAMPTON LEAD 2-1! Spurs have been on top almost throughout the game, but Ward-Prowse's excellent free-kick has inspired an unlikely turnaround! It's a wonderful effort, right into the top-left corner and out of the reach of the diving Lloris!
79'
K. Walker-Peters gets yellow.
Walker-Peters is booked for cynically hacking down Redmond as he tried to latch onto a pass into the box. He was clean through and the Spurs defender should be thankful that the card is only yellow.
78'
P. Højbjerg gets yellow.
Hojbjerg dives under no challenge from Kane and gets rightly booked for diving. Completely unnecessary.

Description
76'
Y. Valery has scored a goal for Southampton! Assist by S. Armstrong.
Substitute Armstrong gets beyond Sanchez with excellent movement and his low ball somehow finds Valery at the far post!
GOAL!! SOUTHAMPTON ARE LEVEL! Armstrong gets behind Sanchez and fizzes a low ball across the area that three Tottenham players fail to clear and Valery scuffs the ball over the diving Lloris! It's 1-1!
75'
Southampton nearly carve out an opening as Redmond dwells on the ball before playing it wide, but the resulting cross is half-cleared by Vertonghen and the header back across is to no-one.
73'
S. Armstrong enters the game and replaces S. Long.
Long does trudge off, with Armstrong taking his place. That's Hasenhuttl's last roll of the dice.
72'
Son Heung-Min enters the game and replaces Lucas Moura.
Lucas comes off for Son as Pochettino looks to freshen things up.
70'
Long goes down and it doesn't look good for the substitute, who will probably have to come off.
69'
Southampton have been much-improved in this second half, but their lack of clinical finishing has cost them.
65'
Long is down and holding his left leg. The physios are on to treat him, while Vertonghen needs to be looked at too after stretching awkwardly for the ball. Both are back on now though and look okay to continue.
60'
Sims wins a free-kick off Rose with some quick feet and it's in a really dangerous position on the right for Ward-Prowse to deliver, and it's headed behind by Alli under real pressure.
58'
Moura surges through the middle again but can't find an end product as he's crowded out in the box. He's looked bright at times, but hasn't been able to make the most of his positive play.
56'
Kane stands up well as Hojbjerg tries to knock him off the ball before the midfielder scythes him down and concededs a free-kick.
52'
MISS! Vertonghen goes for another left-footed volley following the corner but he can't keep it down and it flies high and wide.
48'

J. Sims enters the game and replaces C. Austin.
Austin is replaced by young forward Sims in the second change.
Hasenhuttl makes a double change as he looks for an improved performance in the second half. Defensive midfielder Romeu comes off for a striker in Long in the first change.
And we're back underway for the second half!
45' +1
HALF-TIME: SOUTHAMPTON 0-1 TOTTENHAM
45'
Rose gives away a free-kick out wide right at the end of the half, but they can't make the most of it and Spurs try to counter, but the move breaks down.
43'
SAVE! Eriksen hits a swerving shot from distance at Gunn and even though it's straight down the slot for him he punches it awkwardly into the ground and it has to be cleared for a corner.
41'
The ball is floated in from the left by Eriksen and Kane is in acres of space as he loses his marker completely, but the delivery is just a little too high!
39'
Alli bursts forward as he latches onto a loose ball. He gets away with a heavy touch as the ricochet is kind to him, but he twice dwells on the ball instead of passing, before giving away a foul.
37'
Gunn launches the ball down the right for the advancing Valery, but the right wing-back has gone too early and is caught offside.
35'
Southampton are clinging on, but they are getting the occasional break. Bertrand is, strangely, the furthest man forward as the ball goes long, but it's shepherded back to Lloris by Sanchez.
33'
MISS! Vertonghen gets the ball on the left but blasts his effort high and very wide of the target from just inside the box. Not his finest strike.
32'
The Spurs pressure is building as they win a succession of corners. Southampton defend a short corner particularly poorly and only just get away with it. They've looked shaky defensively so far.
26'
H. Kane has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur! Assist by D. Alli.
Alli's lofted ball in behind for Kane was well-weighted and carved the Southampton defence open superbly.
GOAL! Kane makes it 1-0 to Tottenham! Spurs have been on top and the pressure has told. Alli plays a deft dink to Kane on the right side of the box. The striker takes a touch which nearly sees the angle close on him, but he manages to squeeze it through and find the bottom corner.
25'
BLOCK! Austin gets the ball in the box after a rare Southampton attack down the left. He has his back to goal and swivels to shoot, but it's blocked and Lloris gathers comfortably.
22'
Y. Valery gets yellow.
Valery drags Rose down on the edge of the box and picks up a yellow. The free-kick is in a dangerous position too.
20'
MISS! Dier gets the ball outside the box and slightly to the left. He sets himself with one touch, but leans back and blasts his effort high and well wide of the target.
18'
Rose goes down while tussling for the ball with Valery and collides with Ward-Prowse on his way down. He stays down momentarily holding his face, but gets to his feet eventually and is okay to continue.
16'
Kane slides in to win the ball high up on the right wing for Spurs before trying to curl a cross in on his left foot, but it sails past everyone and goes out just wide of the far post!
15'
NO PENALTY! Moura dances his way past several challenges on the right side of the box before going down, but the referee waves play on. In fairness to the Brazilian, he didn't appeal for anything.
10'
Oriol Romeu gets yellow.
Romeu picks up a yellow card for a cynical foul on Moura, who was surging through the middle.
8'
Eriksen tries to clip the ball in from the left but it's cleared by a sea of Southampton defenders and Spurs recycle possession.
6'
Bertrand gets away down the left but his cut-back from the byline is straight to the recovering Dier and Spurs clear.

We're off at St. Mary's!
Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Premier League fixture between Southampton and Tottenham at St. Mary's Stadium.
The line-ups are out and we'll start with the home side.
Southampton XI (3-4-1-2): Angus Gunn; Maya Yoshida, Jannik Vestergaard, Jan Bednarek; Yan Valery, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Oriol Romeu, Ryan Bertrand; James Ward-Prowse; Nathan Redmond, Charlie Austin
Southampton substitutes: Stuart Armstrong, Matt Targett, Josh Sims, Callum Slattery, Alex McCarthy, Shane Long, Jack Stephens
Tottenham XI (4-2-3-1): Hugo Lloris; Kyle Walker-Peters, Davinson Sanchez, Jan Vertonghen, Danny Rose; Eric Dier, Moussa Sissoko; Lucas Moura, Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen; Harry Kane
Tottenham substitutes: Paulo Gazzaniga, Victor Wanyama, Son Heung-Min, Fernando Llorente, Ben Davies, Juan Foyth, Erik Lamela
Hasenhuttl may need a tactical re-think after seeing his side's three central defenders pulled out of position on numerous occasions and look very uncomfortable when attempting to deal with Spurs' movement. Pochettino is allowed to give the half-time team talk despite his touchline ban, but will likely be happy enough with what he's seen and call for more of the same.
Southampton travel to Brighton next as they look to build on this result and climb further away from the drop zone, while Spurs face another tricky away game as they go to Anfield.
Thank you for joining our coverage, we hope you enjoyed the game. Until next time, goodbye!
