D. Calvert-Lewin has scored a goal for Everton! Assist by I. Gueye.
Gueye carried it over the halfway line before sliding in Calvert-Lewin, in acres of space. It was a simple move and tired Cardiff legs were on show for all to see.
GOOOOAAAAAL! Everton cap it off with a strike from Calvert-Lewin! One on one with the keeper, the Englishman smashes it past Etheridge just before Ecuele Manga was about to steal it away. 3-0 to the away side.

88'
André Gomes enters the game and replaces G. Sigurðsson.
Pickford deals with a tame Cardiff free-kick, allowing Gomes to finally replace Sigurdsson. That wasn't a bad evening for the Everton number 10.

75'
Calvert-Lewin unleashes a sweet strike from range, veering just to the left of Cardiff's goal.
74'
Digne squanders a great free-kick opportunity for Everton, with Sigurdsson also standing over it. The Frenchman chipped his attempted cross straight into the arms of Etheridge.
72'
Walcott loses the ball but immediately retrieves it before seeking out Calvert-Lewin in the box, who was just a step behind the delivery.
71'
It's all Everton now. Morrison has just given away a corner, which Sigurdsson fizzed into the Cardiff box to no avail.
69'
C. Paterson enters the game and replaces N. Mendez-Laing.
And Paterson comes on Mendez-Laing.
Cardiff want a penalty after Keane nods the ball down towards his own hand in the box. That one wasn't nearly as clear-cut as the shout that went begging against Watford.
68'
J. Murphy enters the game and replaces J. Hoilett.
All change then for Cardiff as Murphy replaces Hoilett.
66'
G. Sigurðsson has scored a goal for Everton!
GOOOAAAAL! Sigurdsson again! Bernard does what Richarlison couldn't and wriggles away from Ecuele Manga before playing the ball across the six-yard box. The rebound then falls for the Iceland international, more than happy to notch a second goal against his old rivals. 2-0 Everton.
64'
Warnock isn't a happy man on the touchline after three Cardiff players are flagged for offside during a promising free-kick.
62'
Once again, Cardiff's early intensity is starting to fizzle away here. Maybe Warnock will look to the bench soon to mix things up.

48'
A Gunnarsson throw-in is cleared unconvincingly by Gueye, before Cardiff launch it back into the Everton box again. Morrison's flick-on can't find a team-mate.
46'
Cardiff kick off this time for the start of the second half.
45' +2

45'
Calvert-Lewin shows his frustration after miscontrolling a throughball by fouling Morrison inside Cardiff's half.

Cardiff may now be wondering 'what if' after their whirlwind start. They'll have to get more bodies forward if they are to draw level.
41'
G. Sigurðsson has scored a goal for Everton! Assist by S. Coleman.
GOOOOAAAL! Everton make the breakthrough with their first real attack of the half. Coleman's cutback finds Sigurdsson, who calmly steers the ball into the bottom-left corner. 1-0 to Silva's men.
Coleman made that on his return to the side. That was the first time tonight Everton have really clicked as an attacking force.

The pressure is really on Silva tonight in the visitors' dugout. He's won an average of 1.22 Premier League points per game as Everton manager, the worst ratio of any Toffees manager since Walter Smith.
36'
Gueye has just had to smash the ball out of danger after an awkward pass from Keane, while several Cardiff players waited to pounce on the halfway line.

Richarlison and Ecuele Manga has been an interesting battle down Everton's left-hand side, with the Gabonese edging it.
32'
Hoilett is adjudged to have controlled a flick-on from Morrison with his hand, just as the Canadian was about to bundle into the Everton box.
30'
Half-an-hour has been played and we've not been blessed with chances at the Cardiff City Stadium so far. Walcott and Richarlison have looked lively for the visitors, while most of Cardiff's best work took place in the first five minutes.
29'
Gunnarsson clips in a deft cross for Zohore, who can only hit a wild effort into the stands.
27'
Calvert-Lewin feels the force of another late challenge from a Cardiff defender. This time it's Bamba on the halfway line, just letting him know he's there... 27 minutes in.

Bamba sticks a leg out to deflect Sigurdsson's attempted throughball to Walcott out for a corner.
15'
Everton have got numbers up to Cardiff's area a few times now, but Warnock's side are limiting them to half-chances at the moment. Richarlison and Sigurdsson are the latest to see a move break down in the final third.
14'
S. Morrison gets yellow.
Morrison arrives late with a tackle from behind on Calvert-Lewin, prompting another yellow card for the home side.
12'
Walcott can't steer a volley inside the far post from the resulting set-piece.
11'
A shooting chance opens up for Gueye from range, which he takes, but Morrison gets his head in the way to produce an Everton corner.
9'
Walcott and Bennett get into an interesting-looking foot race as Everton attack, before Walcott brings down his opponent.
7'
L. Bacuna gets yellow.
Bacuna receives the game's first booking for a late challenge on Richarlison.
Of course, former Swansea man Sigurdsson isn't a popular figure around these parts. The home crowd enjoyed seeing him lost possession moments ago.
5'
This has been a full-blooded start from the home side. Mendez-Laing threatens to break away on the right, only to lose his footing as team-mates joined him on the counter.
3'
Mendez-Laing is involved again as a loose ball falls to him inside the area, but the winger sees his shot blocked.
1'
Everton get us underway.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Premier League clash between Cardiff City and Everton.
Cardiff’s defeat to Watford last time out was a bitter pill to swallow, but a chance to finish Tuesday four points clear of the relegation zone will help make up for it. However, Neil Warnock needs to put an end to the Bluebirds’ midweek Blues if they are to beat tonight’s opponents for the first time since 1979. Cardiff have never won a Premier League game played on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
Back after a two-week break, Everton also fell to Watford in their last match, an outcome equally difficult to stomach for Marco Silva against his former club. His Toffees side are are one loss away from a fourth straight league defeat, which hasn’t happened since Roberto Martinez was in charge four years ago. Silva says talks with majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri went well and calls this a must-win game.
CARDIFF CITY (4-2-3-1): Neil Etheridge; Bruno Ecuele Manga, Sean Morrison, Sol Bamba, Ryan Bennett; Leandro Bacuna, Aron Gunnarsson, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, Bobby Reid, Junior Hoilett; Kenneth Zohore.
CARDIFF CITY SUBS: Alex Smithies, Lee Peltier, Harry Arter, Danny Ward, Josh Murphy, Callum Paterson, Kadeem Harris.
EVERTON (4-2-3-1): Jordan Pickford; Seamus Coleman, Michael Keane, Phil Jagielka, Lucas Digne; Morgan Schneiderlin, Idrissa Gueye, Theo Walcott, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Richarlison; Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Cardiff will certainly have to up the ante in the second half, still clearly missing a link between the midfield and front three with Camarasa out injured. Everton's fragility in recent weeks suggests that going for goal number two and three might be their best bet.
There’s no time for Everton and Silva to get comfortable in ninth place, though, with the small matter of a Merseyside derby next up. Cardiff head to Wolves this weekend and will be in the relegation zone tomorrow should Southampton beat Fulham. That concludes tonight’s coverage, thanks for reading along!
