Lyon try to push forward on one final attacking move as they patiently work their way into the City half of the pitch, but they aren't in a rush to commit bodies forward and seem more than happy with the draw.
90' +1
P. Foden enters the game and replaces S. Agüero.
Foden has come on to take the place of Aguero with little over a minute remaining.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be two minutes of added time.
89'
M. Terrier enters the game and replaces M. Cornet.
Lyon have made a late switch, with Cornet making way for Terrier.
88'
Sterling twists and turns deep down the left flank as he desperately tries to find a way into the hosts' box. He's finally able to do so after evading two tackles, but he ends up running the ball out of play before he can find a team-mate in front of goal.
86'
Aguero makes a clever run towards the edge of the home side's penalty area and looks to get a shot away, but he's dispossessed before he's able to do so and City have to settle for a corner that Lyon are just about able to clear.
84'
B. Traoré enters the game and replaces N. Fekir.
Lyon have thrown on Traore as they try to find a way back in front.
83'
S. Agüero has scored a goal for Manchester City! Assist by R. Mahrez.
GOAL! City have immediately responded! A corner is swung into the heart of the box and perfectly picks out Aguero, who easily rises above his markers and sends a glancing header into the bottom left-hand corner of the net. With seven minutes remaining, it's now 2-2.
Mahrez has been slightly hit and miss with his passing tonight, but he put the ball on a plate for Aguero there. Lyon were poor defensively once again, though, and they really should have done better to deal with the Argentine.
81'
M. Cornet has scored a goal for Lyon! Assist by M. Depay.
It really has been an impressive performance from Depay, who has added to his excellent tally with yet another assist. Will Lyon be able to hold on and move above their visitors?
GOAL! Lyon have regained the lead! Once again, Depay and Cornet link up wonderfully well, with the Dutchman setting up his team-mate to break into the penalty area and beat Ederson with an excellent low strike to make it 2-1.
Minute
Description
80'
Ndombele has been really impressive in the middle of the pitch, where he's defended brilliantly and pushed forward with real intent. With 10 minutes to go, he's continuing to cause plenty of problems for City.
78'
The home side aren't pressing with the same intensity, and you get the feeling they're happy with the game ending in a draw. With Hoffenheim and Shakhtar also drawing at the moment, the result would keep them in the driving seat for second spot.
76'
Lyon pick up possession over on the right flank and immediately hit their opponents on a swift counter-attack. Depay does well to reach the edge of the box before setting up Cornet, who shoots but can only find the hands of Ederson with a scuffed effort.
74'
K. Tete enters the game and replaces Rafael.
The hosts have made an alteration at right-wing-back, with Rafael making way for Tete.
73'
Lyon are starting to tire as we near the final 15 minutes of the game, and it's allowed City to start controlling the game. They responded really well to going behind and look the more likely of the two teams to find the back of the net for a second time.
71'
F. Delph enters the game and replaces L. Sané.
City have made their first substitution of the night, with Delph coming on to replace Sane. It looks as if Sterling is going to move further forward, allowing Delph to slot into midfield.
69'
City are unable to make the corner count and Lyon quickly counter-attack. Fekir sprints into the penalty area, spins and shoots, but he's off balance and fails to get the better of Ederson.
68'
Vital touch by Marcal! Zinchenko sets up Aguero with a lovely chipped pass, and the Argentine then comfortably skips past Marcelo on his way towards the near post. He looks set to tee up Sterling but Marcal does brilliantly to send the ball behind for a corner.
66'
Depay gets himself into a really good position on the edge of the penalty area and looks set to latch on to a well-placed lofted pass, but, not for the first time this evening, Laporte is in the right place at the right time and knocks the ball back to Ederson.
62'
F. Mendy gets yellow.
Aymeric Laporte has scored a goal for Manchester City! Assist by David Silva.
Mendy is beaten by Mahrez out wide and cynically drags the Algerian to the ground, resulting in another free-kick for City in a promising position over on the right wing.
That was a great glancing header from Silva, who knew exactly what he was doing. Laporte was left in far too much space, though, and Lyon won't be at all happy with their defending.
GOAL! City have equalised! The free kick is fired into the middle of the box and finds Silva, who nods the ball back to Laporte and sets up the centre-back to beat Lopes with a brilliant bullet header. It's 1-1!
59'
City keep pushing forward and win themselves a free kick over on the right wing. It's Mahrez who steps up and crosses, but his low cross is poorly hit and bounces straight to Ndombele.
55'
M. Cornet has scored a goal for Lyon! Assist by M. Depay.
GOAL! What a strike by Cornet to make it 1-0! Lyon win themselves a free kick that's quickly fired up to Depay. The Dutchman cuts on to his right foot and sends a pass over to Cornet, who isn't closed down quickly enough and manages to beat Ederson with a spectacular strike from the edge of the box.
That was a clever pick out from Depay, but that goal was made possible by some quick thinking from the free kick. City were too slow to react and didn't get back into position quickly enough, leaving a lot of space available.
54'
City are pushing so many bodies forward as they try to find a way in front. Sane penetrates the left-hand side of the Lyon penalty area before cutting past Rafael, but Ndombele is there to dispossess him with ease.
52'
A clever pass from Aguero is poked through to Sterling, who is left all alone over on the right-hand side of the hosts' penalty area. He then tries to pick out Silva, but the Spaniard is put off by Denayer and can't quite reach the ball.
50'
City continue their quick start to the second half and bring Sterling into the game in a good position, but his attempted shot from 25 yards out fails to trouble Lopes and instead bounces comfortably wide of the far post.
48'
Silva manages to pick up the ball in a pocket of space just outside of the Lyon penalty area. He then tries to find a way into the box but is closed down by Rafael, who does well to dispossess the midfielder.
46'
We're underway once again!
45' +1
HALF-TIME: LYON 0-0 MANCHESTER CITY
45'
It's end to end stuff at the moment as the two teams try to find a way in front before half-time. It's City's turn to counter-attack before Mahrez shoots, but his low strike is easily stopped by Lopes.
42'
The pace of the game has slowed down somewhat as we near the half-time break, but there's no doubt it's Lyon who have been the most impressive side so far. They really should be ahead after carving out two really good chances, but someone neither of them resulted in the opening goal.
40'
Zinchenko hasn't been able to get involved in the game much so far, but he's finally able to make good progress down the left wing. He fails to do much with the ball, though, as his 30-yard strike is fired high over the crossbar.
38'
City move the ball around slightly quicker and are almost rewarded for doing so, but Sterling is dispossessed by Marcelo on the edge of the hosts' penalty area after doing well to skip past Marcal.
36'
What an opportunity for Aguero! The Argentine pulls off a quick one-two with Silva inside the Lyon box and looks set to force Lopes into action, but he's put off by Denayer and Marcelo and scuffs his first-time shot well wide of the goal.
34'
R. Sterling gets yellow.
Sterling sticks out an arm and cynically obstructs Marcal as he tries to break forward. There wasn't much in the foul but the referee nonetheless decides to show the City winger a yellow card.
33'
Cornet easily shrugs off Laporte as he heads down the right flank and towards the byline. He then pokes a clever pass back to Rafael, who sends a chipped cross into the heart of the penalty area but fails to find a team-mate.
32'
Fernandinho is sloppy in possession and allows Cornet to pick up the ball. The Ivorian bursts forward before sending a pass over to Mendy, who cuts on to his right foot and sends a speculative effort high over the top of the crossbar.
28'
Sane is left in space over on the left wing, allowing him to cut inside and tee up Silva. The midfielder tries to spin and get a shot away, but Aouar and Ndombele are both there to dispossess the Spaniard from behind.
26'
A poor attempted flick from Cornet fails to find a team-mate and allows City to counter-attack. Zinchenko quickly picks out Silva with a clever pass up towards the edge of the penalty area but the Spaniard is unable to move the ball over to Sane.
24'
The set-piece is 30 yards away from goal but Depay nonetheless decides to unleash a shot. It's a decent effort from the forward, but he can't quite hit the target and sends his strike a few yards wide of the near post.
23'
Fernandinho gets yellow.
Fernandinho clatters into Depay as the Dutchman makes his way towards the City box, resulting in a free kick for Lyon and a yellow card for the midfielder. What will they be able to do with it?
22'
City enjoy a lengthy period in possession as they try to find a way through the sea of white shirts camped in front of them, but Sane can't get the better of Rafael out wide and ends up losing the ball.
20'
Vital tackle by Mendy! Silva and Aguero pull off a quick one-two just outside of the Lyon penalty area before the latter looks to shoot, but Mendy is there to dispossess him with a brilliant interception.
19'
A poorly timed challenge from Laporte results in another free kick for Lyon midway inside the City half of the pitch. Depay's cross is only cleared as far as Marcelo, who tries to unleash a volley but gets it all wrong.
18'
Sloppy play by Mahrez allows Fekir to pick up the ball and sprint forward. He then sets up Cornet on the edge of the penalty area with a clever pass, but Laporte is there to dispossess the Ivorian with an excellent sliding tackle.
16'
City embark on another quick counter-attack, with Sane this time flying down the left wing and into the box. He gets the better of Denayer and tees up Mahrez, whose shot is scuffed and deflects behind for a corner that Rafael clears at the near post.
14'
City immediately counter-attack after Depay's miss and carve out a chance on goal of their own. It's Mahrez who shoots from the edge of the penalty area, but his low strike is sent straight at Lopes.
12'
After a slow start to the game, City are now starting to show more attacking intent. This time it's Mahrez who gets forward well and reaches the box, but Mendy is there to dispossess him with a clean tackle.
10'
Walker charges down the right flank before being clumsily fouled by Mendy, which results in a free kick for City in a dangerous position. Silva whips a cross into the penalty area but it's underhit and easily cleared.
8'
Lyon move the ball around patiently before Marcelo sends a lofted pass over the top of the high City back line. He tries to pick out Cornet, who makes a run through on goal, but can't quite do so and instead finds the hands of Ederson.
6'
Fekir picks up the ball in the middle of the pitch and is immediately clattered into by Fernandinho, resulting in a free kick for the hosts in a promising position. It's Fekir who steps up and shoots, but his effort is poor and fails to beat the wall.
4'
Cornet goes close! The corner is beautifully swung into the heart of the box and looks set to find the head of Cornet, but the striker misses the ball by the narrowest of margins before Zinchenko just about clears the danger.
3'
After an even start to the game, it's Lyon who push forward on the first attack of the evening. They move the ball around well before Depay makes a clever run into the penalty area and forces Laporte into conceding a corner.

We're off! It's Lyon who get us underway.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of today’s Champions League group stage game between Lyon and Manchester City at the Groupama Stadium.
City head to France knowing their task is, on paper at least, a straightforward one. Win and they will have secured top spot in Group F with one game to spare, while avoiding defeat will be enough to confirm their place in the last 16. It won’t be easy, though, with Lyon currently fighting tooth and nail for a spot of their own in the knockout round.
Lyon are best-placed to join City in the next stage of the competition but still have plenty of work left to do. They currently sit three points clear of nearest challengers Hoffenheim after throwing away a 2-0 lead against the Bundesliga team but will have to be at their very best if they’re to get the better of City and avoid a nervy final match away to Shakhtar Donetsk.
It’s set to be a tough night for Lyon, but it was they who were victorious when these two teams met in the group stage opener. An excellent performance from the French side resulted in City suffering a shock defeat, and Pep Guardiola will be well aware that another slip up could seriously harm their chances of progressing as group winners.
The Premier League champions have been on a roll since that defeat, though, and start the night unbeaten in their last 13 games across all competitions. Only Liverpool have been able to hold them to a draw since the unexpected loss to Lyon, with all of their previous eight fixtures ending in victories.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up today...
Manchester City substitutes: Danilo, Vincent Kompany, Fabian Delph, Nicolas Otamendi, Phil Foden, Arijanet Muric, Brahim Diaz.
Manchester City XI (4-3-3): Ederson; Kyle Walker, John Stones, Aymeric Laporte, Oleksandr Zinchenko; Riyad Mahrez, Fernandinho, David Silva; Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero, Leroy Sane.
Lyon substitutes: Martin Terrier, Bertrand Traore, Jeremy Morel, Kenny Tete, Pape Diop, Lucas Tousart, Mathieu Gorgelin.
Lyon XI (3-4-1-2): Anthony Lopes; Jason Denayer, Marcelo, Fernando Marcal; Rafael, Tanguy Ndombele, Houssem Aouar, Ferland Mendy; Nabil Fekir; Memphis Depay, Maxwel Cornet.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
Guardiola didn't look entirely pleased as he headed down the tunnel, and it's no wonder why. City have been second best so far, with Lyon enjoying the best chances of the game. The hosts really should be ahead, with both Depay and Cornet being presented with excellent opportunities, but luckily for their opponents they weren't able to make them count.
City started to impose themselves on the game in the build-up to the break and have shown glimpses of brilliance but haven't done enough to truly test Lyon's back three. Aguero got more involved as the first half wore on but on too many occasions he's found himself on the periphery of the action, and that needs to change if the Premier League champions are to find a way in front.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
The draw keeps Lyon in the driving seat for a spot in the knockout stage, but the battle for second place looks set to go right to the wire. Shakhtar are currently leading Hoffenheim deep into injury time in their game, meaning just two points separate the teams heading into their crunch match.
That's all we've got time for tonight, but thanks for tuning into our live coverage of what proved to be a fascinating encounter. Until next time, goodbye!
