MISS! Lewandowski goes for the spectacular in a desperate attempt to get his hat-trick, but sends the ball way over the bar.
89'
Jeong takes too many touches and is robbed of the ball, allowing Benfica to get out of their half and have some respite.
87'
Alfa Semedo gets yellow.
Sanches tries to turn his man and runs the ball straight out of play. The game is essentially over, so it doesn't matter hugely, but he's been quite poor since coming on.
Semedo gets a yellow card for bundling Jeong over as he skipped past his man.
85'
Seferovic reaches a throughball as it gets to the byline and tries to pull it across for a team-mate but Neuer is well-positioned to hold it low down.
83'
Bayern play a few risky pases at the back but manage to get away with it. They're comfortable taking a few chances now that the game is won.
81'
Jeong Woo-Yeong enters the game and replaces T. Müller.
Muller departs as 19-year-old winger Jeong makes his senior debut for the club. A proud moment for the South Korean.
80'
Sanches tries to go on a mazy run on the right but his touch gets away from him. Bayern get the ball back within seconds courtesy of a poor pass, however.
78'
S. Wagner enters the game and replaces F. Ribéry.
That's Ribery's final contribution as he leaves the field to be replaced by Wagner, who will partner Lewandowski up front.
76'
F. Ribéry has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by D. Alaba.
Alfa Semedo enters the game and replaces L. Fejsa.
Benfica's final change is to replace Fejsa with Semedo. He has 15 minutes of normal time to make an impact.
Alaba showed good awareness to pull the ball back into the middle rather than attempting a shot from a tight angle himself.
GOAL! Ribery makes it 5-1! The Frenchman starts the move on the left touchline, playing Alaba in before arriving at the penalty spot in time to slot a first-time effort low into the bottom-right corner. This has been a stroll in the park for Bayern.
Minute
Description
74'
Benfica put on the semblance of a high press with none of the urgency and Bayern pass their way forward comfortably, pushing the visitors deeper and deeper into their own half.
72'
Renato Sanches enters the game and replaces A. Robben.
There's no hat-trick for veteran winger Arjen Robben tonight as he's replaced by young midfielder Sanches. Muller pushes out to the right wing while the substitute takes his place in midfield.
70'
SAVE! Goretzka hits a swerving effort fro distance that Vlachodimos parris back into the danger zone, but Robben is caught offside.
69'
Benfica's heads have dropped now as they face wave after wave of Bayern attacks. The home side look likely to add another.
67'
Ribery bustles his way forward, exchanging passes and gets into the box before trying to pull it back for Alaba but sees it cut out. Bayern very much on top now.
65'
Bayern try to weave their way through as Ribery, Muller and Lewandowski link up but the final ball lets them down and Rafinha then fouls Fernandes to relieve the pressure.
63'
CHANCE! Alaba gets the ball down at the byline and whips a cross towards the near post that Muller tries to divert in, but Vlachodimos deflects it onto the German's arm and out and the chance is gone.
61'
BLOCK! Seferovic plays the ball out to Rafa coming in off the right and he hits it on the bounce but it's charged down quickly.
59'
H. Seferović enters the game and replaces Jonas.
Jonas is replaced by Swiss international Seferovic up front as Benfica boss Rui Vitoria searches for a way back into the game. Can his second substitution be as inspired as the first?
58'
Bayern move the ball forward quickly on the right but Muller is just caught offside as the move develops.
56'
MISS! Alaba has a swinger with his weaker right foot and lifts it high over the bar. Not the best decision he's made tonight.
53'
Jonas is dropping really deep to get involved in the build-up play as he looks to get on the ball more and provide his team-mates with an extra option in midfield.
51'
R. Lewandowski has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by J. Kimmich.
GOAL! It's 4-1 to Bayern! Same combination as the third, but from a different side. An inswinging corner from Kimmich this time, he finds the head of Lewandowski in the middle, who glances it into the far corner beyond the goalkeeper's reach! Bayern are comfortable once again.
Kimmich's deliveries have been pinpoint from corners tonight. His crossing ability is exceptional.
48'
Bayern were certainly guily there of a little complacency, while Benfica were clearly determined to provide a response to their woeful first half.
46'
Gedson Fernandes enters the game and replaces Pizzi.
Gedson Fernandes has scored a goal for Benfica! Assist by Jonas.
Pizzi is replaced by Fernandes at half-time as Benfica look for a much-improved second-half.
And Benfica get the game going again!
Jonas dropped off the back four to provide a focal point for the substitute to play off and it worked to perfection.
GOAL!! Fernandes makes it 3-1! He's been on the pitch less than a minute and he's got himself a goal! He plays a neat give and go with Jonas to get himself behind the Bayern defence and curls his shot past Neuer and into the back of the net! Could this be the start of a famous comeback?
45'
HALF-TIME: BAYERN MUNICH 3-0 BENFICA
42'
Benfica are camped in their own half. They're desperate to get to half-time without conceding again. Bayern look happy enough with that, too.
40'
Benfica haven't really turned up today. It's almost as if they were expecting to be beaten and, at this rate, they will certainly be soundly beaten.
36'
R. Lewandowski has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by J. Kimmich.
GOAL! Lewandowski makes it 3-0! The Polish striker gets in on the act as he rises above his two markers and thumps a downward header across goal and into the bottom corner!
Kimmich's delivery had pace and was in an awkward region for the keeper to come and claim. Great cross.
34'
MISS! Grimaldo has a potshot from distance as the ball comes out to him and he sends it harmlessly behind for a goal-kick.
33'
F. Ribéry gets yellow.
That's a naughty foul by Ribery as he picks up a yellow card for leading with his elbow as he and Almeida contest an aerial ball.
30'
A. Robben has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by T. Müller.
The game-plan is clearly working as Muller showed vision and technique to send Robben clear behind the defence with a good pass.
GOAL!! Robben makes it 2-0! Another long ball over the top sets the Dutchman away and he cuts inside, delays his shot and then smashes it in at the near post! Another quality goal!
28'
MISS! Conti rises highest from the corner but sends his looping header way off target.
26'
Neuer comes charging out of his box to take the ball under control and pass it out. That's more like it from the captain.
25'
A. Robben gets yellow.
The goalscorer Robben then goes in the book for a needless challenge on Pires.
21'
Robben chases down a long ball over the top but Vlachodimos was always going to get there first and the goalkeeper heads clear on the edge of his box.
19'
The tempo of this game is still rather flat. Benfica haven't really responded to going behind, and Bayern have not had any more space to work with.
17'
Bayern look like they're working hard to provide variation to the way they attack. Short build-up down the left, early balls over the top into wide areas. They're clearly not playing with complete confidence but they do appear to have worked hard on the training ground to combat that.
15'
There had been a real lack of urgency about this game before that goal. Hopefully, it wakes Benfica up and spurs Bayern on to show some of their best form in this match.
13'
A. Robben has scored a goal for Bayern Munich!
GOAL!!! WHAT A GOAL BY ROBBEN! That's a trademark goal from the Dutchman to put Bayern 1-0 up! He has three around him on the right but somehow wriggles his way through them all before cutting back on his left and curling a lovely strike into the top-left corner from a tight angle! Beautiful goal!
10'
Another raking pass forward, this time by Goretzka, and it finds its target this time as Alaba just about keeps it in play. He plays a one-two with Ribery before working a yard and crossing but it's far too close to Vlachodimos, who claims comfortably.
8'
Bayern appear, at times, to be going much more direct than they would normally. Neuer has short options either side as he receives a back-pass but chooses to punt it long first-time under minimal pressure, before Robben tries a long ball over the top from deep. A tactical decision or a sign of a lack of confidence?
6'
Alaba is caught in possession by Rafa, who drives inside and looks to play a one-two with Jonas. It comes back for Pizzi instead, however, and the midfielder chips a ball out to nobody on the right. What a waste.
5'
All Bayern so far, with lots of build-up play coming through Alaba on the left-hand side.
3'
The ball is worked out nicely to Robben on the right and he fizzes a low ball across the face of goal with his weaker right foot but nobody gambles on it and it passes harmlessly across.
1'
Bayern get us going at the Allianz Arena!
After a couple of loose passes from both sides, Alaba feeds Lewandowski who tries to help it on for Ribery on the left but he's gone a fraction too early and is offside.

Ajax's 2-0 win over AEK Athens means that if Benfica fail to win tonight they will be unable to qualify for the knockout stages and will drop into the Europa League and Bayern simply need to avoid defeat to secure qualification.
Bayern take a comfortable lead into the second half after two wonderful efforts - the first in particular - from Robben and a Lewandowski header. Benfica haven't been at the races and this has been a stroll for the German side.
This result - assuming it stays this way - will secure Bayern's qualification and send them back to the top of the table while ending Benfica's slim chances of progression. Kovac will be glad of the respite the Champions League is offering him at the moment.
Bayern travel to face Werder Bremen next, while Benfica host Feirense as both clubs return to domestic action.
Thanks for joining our coverage, we hope you enjoyed the game. Until next time, goodbye!
