We are underway...
Hello and welcome to tonight's live coverage of the international friendly between Albania and Wales from the Elbasan Arena.
The Nations League is now behind both teams and neither managed to top their respective groups. Wales finished second in Group B4, while Albania fnished rock bottom of Group C1.
Wales starting XI (4-2-3-1): Danny Ward; Connor Roberts, Tom Lockyer, Jamie Lawrence, Chris Gunter (c); Andy King, Joe Allen; David Brooks, Harry Wilson, Daniel James; Sam Vokes.
Wales subs: Adam Davies, Rabbi Matondo, George Thomas, Ben Woodburn, Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey, Wayne Hennessey, Kieron Freeman, Ashley Williams, Tom Lawrence, Tyler Roberts.
Albania will need to overturn the form books tonight if they are to succeed as they have won just one of their last eight games in all competitions. However, Wales do not fare much better after just three wins in eight.
The two teams are out on the field and we are now just waiting for the national anthems.
The referee brings an end to the proceedings and both sets of players may need the break as they try to improve in the second half. Wales had the majority of the chances, but they failed to capitalise, with Vokes and Brooks both missing solid chances. Albania did find their rhythm eventually, but they have yet to test Ward in the Wales goal.
With it being a friendly, the momentum of the game could soon be ruined by substitutes but those on the bench will be desperate to make an impact during the final international game of 2018.
Giggs' side will feel they should have got a penalty of their own but Albania deserve plenty of credit after seeing the game out.
That is all for tonight folks, thanks for joining us. Goodbye!
