Sevilla push forward on one final attacking move as United drop deep into their own half of the pitch for the last few moments. Correa can't quite pick out Sandro inside the box, though, as his pass is overhit and easily cleared by Smalling.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be two minutes of added time.
89'
G. Pizarro enters the game and replaces É. Banega.
Pizarro has come on to replace Banega in Sevilla's second alteration of the night.
88'
Another decent strike by Rashford! The youngster is clumsily bundled over by Lenglet, presenting United with a good opportunity to shoot from a well-placed set-piece. It's Rashford who unleashes a strike, and it makes Rico worry for a second or two as he scrambles across the goal. Luckily for the goalkeeper, the shot is sent wide of the post.
87'
And now Rashford goes close! After defending well, United hit the hosts on a swift counter-attack. Pogba plays a good pass towards Rashford and sets up the substitute to shoot, but his bouncing effort misses the far post by a yard or two.
86'
Huge chance for Sevilla! Sandro immediately receives the ball inside the United box and shoots after good play by Banega, but Smalling throws his body in the way to deny the striker. Navas then throws himself to the ground and screams for a penalty as he tries to latch onto the ball, but he's immediately told to get back to his feet by the referee.
85'
Sandro Ramírez enters the game and replaces L. Muriel.
Sevilla have finally made their first substitution of the game, with Muriel making his way for Sandro up front.
83'
Lukaku scores, but it won't count! A chipped cross from Pogba sails into the heart of the box and finds Lukaku, who controls the ball with his arm before spinning and shooting. The referee's whistle is quickly blown for handball, and it means the Belgian's goal won't count, despite a few of the United fans celebrating for several seconds.
82'
Sevilla push forward once again and this time it's Muriel who's able to test De Gea after skipping into the box, but his low strike is sent straight at the United goalkeeper and is easily saved in the middle of the goal.
81'
McTominay loses out just outside of the visitors' penalty area and presents Vazquez with a good chance to unleash a shot, but his low strike is a poor one and fails to get the better of Smalling on the edge of the box.

Description
80'
A. Martial enters the game and replaces Mata.
United have made their third and final change of the evening, with Martial coming on to take the place of Mata.
79'
United enjoy their first decent spell of possession this half as they patiently knock the ball around inside the Sevilla half of the pitch. Young eventually pokes a pass down the left flank and towards Mata, whose run is slightly mistimed and sees him flagged offside before he can whip in a cross.
77'
Correa slips through the United defence and latches onto a clever pass from Vazquez, but once again the linesman's flag is raised and a decent Sevilla attacking move is brought to a disappointing end.
76'
Rashford quickly gets involved in the thick of the action as he takes on Navas over on the left flank, but it's the speedy Sevilla full-back who comes out on top after just about managing to get the better of the substitute.
75'
M. Rashford enters the game and replaces A. Sánchez.
United have made their second alteration of the night, with Sanchez making way for Rashford. They could certainly do with the youngster's pace on the break.
74'
Sarabia goes close again! The winger plays a quick one-two with Vazquez and takes on De Gea inside the penalty area, but the linesman's flag is quickly raised as soon as he sidefoots a shot just wide of the far post.
73'
What an opportunity for Sarabia to open the scoring! Muriel showcases lovely skill over on the right-hand side of the United box before dinking a cross over to the far post. Sarabia is there to latch onto the ball, but he can't make decent contact with it and sends his header over the crossbar from just a few yards out.
72'
Lukaku picks up the ball over on the right wing and quickly tries to tee up Pogba, who had made a good run into the hosts' penalty area. He can't quite pick out the Frenchman, however, as his pass is overhit and rolls straight into the hands of Rico.
70'
Almost an excellent chance for Sevilla! Sarabia gets the better of Young over on the right flank and fires a brilliant cross into the heart of the box. It looks set to pick out Muriel, but the striker can't quite latch onto the ball in front of goal after getting the better of Smalling.
68'
Lukaku, who has seen little of the ball tonight, muscles his way down the left wing and does well to win United a corner. It fails to result in a chance on goal, though, as Smalling is penalised for climbing all over N'Zonzi as they battle for the ball.
66'
Another decent attack results in a free-kick for Sevilla just outside of the United box after Escudero is barged into by Mata. Banega steps up and shoots, but his looping effort is sent straight into the hands of De Gea in the middle of the goal.
65'
Really good opportunity for Correa! The Argentine, who has arguably been Sevilla's best player this evening, weaves his way into the left-hand side of the United penalty area and shoots, but, under pressure from Valencia, he ends up curling his strike wide of the far post.
63'
Lenglet goes close! Correa gets the better of Valencia before being tugged back by the full-back, and now it's Sevilla who are awarded a free-kick in a decent position. Banega steps up and curls a cross right onto the head of Lenglet, who skips away from Lukaku and forces De Gea into making a decent save with his downward header.
61'
Sanchez bursts towards the hosts' box and looks set to reach it, but he's tripped over by a cynical sliding challenge from Muriel and has to settle for a free-kick instead. It's Lukaku who steps up and shoots, but his strike is fired straight into the wall of white shirts camped in front of him.
59'
Young has his pocket picked by Sarabia once again, allowing Sevilla to fly forward on another counter-attack. The winger quickly sets up Muriel to tee up Vazquez, who tries to shoot but is blocked off by McTominay before he's able to do so.
58'
Great chance for Muriel! The United defence fall asleep, allowing the Sevilla striker to pick up the ball in a pocket of space. He quickly shoots from 20 yards out, but his bouncing effort is poorly hit and bounces comfortably wide of the near post. He should have done better with that, as he had more time than he initially thought.
56'
Navas shows great pace to skip past Sanchez as he sprints down the right wing and into a great position. He then curls a looping cross into the middle of the box, where Muriel rises high but can't quite get his head on the ball in front of goal.
55'
Sevilla push forward once again and win themselves another corner after Young is forced into dispossessing Muriel. The cross into the penalty area is a good one and bounces out to Vazquez, who immediately shoots but has his rocket of a strike blocked by one of his own players.
54'
Young is poor in possession, allowing Sarabia to pick up the ball and burst forward. He works the ball over to Vazquez, who then tees up Muriel, and the striker's shot from 25 yards out deflects behind for a corner that Banega curls straight into the hands of De Gea.
52'
Vazquez receives the ball deep down the right flank and quickly takes on Lindelof on the edge of the box. Navas makes a good run down the wing and drags both Lindelof and Sanchez away from the Italy international, allowing him to unleash a curling shot that sails a few yards over the crossbar.
50'
An attempted United attacking move breaks down and Sevilla quickly hit them on a counter-attack, but Muriel is poor on the ball and gives away possession with a misplaced pass.
48'
Young tries to guide a low cross past Mercado after linking up nicely with Sanchez, but he can't quite do so and has to settle for a corner. It's whipped over to the far post and finds Mata, who chips a cross into the middle of the box but can only pick out the head of Lenglet.
46'
We're underway once again!
45' +1
De Gea saves United again! Muriel skips through the United back line and latches onto a great cross from Navas, but somehow he can't beat De Gea in the middle of the goal with a bullet header that really should have found the back of the net.
45'
What a save by De Gea! The corner is whipped over to the far post and finds N'Zonzi, who looks set to head Sevilla into the lead but is denied by a wonderful stop by De Gea.
44'
Missed opportunity for Sevilla! After losing the ball, the hosts burst forward on a counter-attack over on the left flank. Escudero flies deep into the visitors' half of the pitch and looks set to pick out Sarabia, but his pass is cut out by Smalling on the edge of the box, resulting in a corner.
43'
Mata makes a good run into the left-hand side of the Sevilla box and links up well with Sanchez before sending a deflected cross behind for a corner. The set-piece is sent short and worked over to Valencia, but it's poorly executed and United can't carve out a chance on goal.
42'
Great opportunity for Correa! A wonderful lofted pass from Banega sails over the United defence and perfectly picks out Correa inside the penalty area. The Argentine controls the ball and shoots, but his low effort is sent too near to De Gea and fails to beat the Spanish goalkeeper.
41'
A. Sánchez gets yellow.
Navas bursts through the middle of the pitch on a great run after winning back possession for the hosts, and he's cynically dragged back by Sanchez as soon as he passes the halfway line, leaving the referee with no choice but to show the Chilean a yellow card.
40'
Correa and Escudero try to link up on the left-hand side of the United penalty area, but Valencia is there to poke the ball behind for a yet another corner. The ball is whipped over to the far post and finds N'Zonzi, who is able to get a head onto it but, under pressure from Smalling, glances it well wide of the goal.
39'
An audacious long-range shot from Escudero is easily blocked by Smalling, and once again Sevilla are awarded a corner. Banega's cross into the box is slightly better this time, but De Gea is there to clear the danger with a strong one-handed punch.
38'
Young is able to burst down the left wing for the first time this evening, and he ends up poking a deflected pass back to McTominay. The midfielder is in a good position to shoot and does so, but his curling strike is easily punched away by Rico.
37'
Correa switches from the left flank to the right and does well to win the home side yet another corner. Banega's out-swinger almost finds Lenglet, who comes charging into the penalty area, but the ball misses the centre-back by a yard or so.
35'
Vazquez is clumsily tripped over by Matic, and Sevilla are awarded a free-kick midway inside the United half of the pitch. It's Banega who steps up and curls a cross into the box, but it's slightly underhit and easily headed away by Matic.
33'
United can't fully clear the danger from their own half of the pitch, allowing Sevilla to break forward quickly. Banega immediately pokes a pass into the penalty area and towards Vazquez, who does well to reach the slightly overhit ball before firing a deflected shot behind for a corner.
31'
Valencia easily gets the better of Correa over on the right flank, allowing him to storm down the wing and into plenty of space. He then whips a cross into the box, but Banega sticks out a foot to easily deal with the Ecuadorian's pass.
29'
A sloppy pass from Correa can only find Lukaku, who is immediately barged into by Banega and wins the visitors a free-kick just inside the Sevilla half of the pitch. United decide to send it short, but they're immediately put under pressure and have to work the ball all the way back to Smalling.
27'
Correa is left in too much space over on the left wing, allowing him to latch onto a lofted pass before dancing his way into the United box. He takes on Valencia and manages to get a shot away, but his low strike is easily collected by De Gea in the middle of the goal.
25'
What a chance for Lukaku! A beautiful pass is chipped over the top of the Sevilla defence and straight to the big Belgian, who peels away from his marker but blasts a first-time volley high over the crossbar. He really should have done better with that!
23'
Sevilla find themselves on the receiving end of a high foot, and it results in a free-kick over on the right wing. It's sent short before the ball is eventually chipped into the penalty area, but it fails to pick out a white shirt and bounces straight into the hands of De Gea at the near post.
21'
S. Nzonzi gets yellow.
Sarabia makes a clever run into the box as he tries to latch onto a looping cross from Escudero, but Young is there to nod the ball behind for a corner. The set-piece is whipped in by Banega and finds Lenglet, who manages to get his head on the ball but can't send it towards goal.
N'Zonzi catches Sanchez with a high boot as he tries to reach the ball on the edge of the penalty area, and he ends up receiving the first yellow card of the evening.
19'
Pogba quickly gets himself involved in the thick of the action as he charges down the right wing, but he doesn't have the pace to deal with Escudero and quickly loses out to the full-back, who is then fouled from behind by Mata as he tries to break away.
17'
P. Pogba enters the game and replaces Ander Herrera.
Herrera gingerly makes his way off the pitch to be replaced by Pogba.
It looks as if Herrera's night is already over. The midfielder immediately went down inside the Sevilla box and looks to have pulled a muscle darting into the penalty area, resulting in him signalling to the bench that he won't be able to continue.
16'
A lovely lofted pass from Sanchez flies over to the right flank and picks out Valencia, who has no white shirts anywhere near him. He sprints down the right flank and pokes a pass into the penalty area that finds Herrera, who then tries to back-heel the ball over to Lukaku but can't guide a pass back Escudero.
15'
And now Navas goes close! An attempted United attacking move fails to come to anything, allowing Navas to counter-attack over on the right wing. The full-back cuts inside and heads into a pocket of space before shooting, but his low strike fizzes just a yard or so wide of the far post.
14'
United have camped themselves inside their own half of the pitch, and they seem content to soak up the pressure being put on them behind trying to break away quickly. The hosts are unable to find a way through once again, and Banega instead tries to beat De Gea with a 30-yard strike that sails high over the top of the crossbar.
12'
Vital tackle by Navas! After winning back possession, United fly forward on a quick counter-attack. Sanchez is brought into play deep inside the Sevilla half of the pitch and looks set to burst into the box, but Navas sprints over to deal with the Chilean.
11'
Sevilla keep knocking the ball around patiently as they try to find a way through the sea of black shirts camped in front of them. Sarabia cuts into the middle of the pitch and is able to receive the ball in a pocket of space, but as soon as he does so he's dispossessed from behind.
9'
Sanchez is able to get on the ball for the first time this evening, and he wins United a corner with a looping cross that's headed behind by Lenglet. The resulting set-piece fails to result in a chance on goal, though, as N'Zonzi is there to clear the danger.
8'
A misplaced pass from Lindelof rolls past Young and out for a throw-in, presenting Sevilla with another opportunity to push forward. The home side can't take advantage of the mistake, however, as Sarabia is easily muscled off the ball as he tries to head down the right flank.
6'
Correa is clattered into by Mata, leaving the referee with no choice but to award Sevilla a free-kick over on the left wing. It's sent short and eventually worked over to Lenglet, who tries to pick out Muriel with a lofted pass forward but can only send the ball to Lindelof.
4'
Great chance for Muriel! The striker drops deep and picks up the ball in a promising position before heading towards the visitors' box. He carves out a pocket of space for himself and shoots, but De Gea does well to stop the low strike with a diving save.
2'
Navas is left in acres of space out wide, allowing him to burst forward and tee up Sarabia. The winger then fires a cross towards the near post, where it's headed behind for a corner, but the set-piece is just about dealt with by United before it can result in an early chance on goal.
1'
We're off! United get us underway, attacking from left to right.
Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Champions League last-16 first leg tie between Sevilla and Manchester United at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
Tonight’s clash brings together the two sides that between them have won each of the last four Europa League titles, and both are now desperate to prove they have what it takes to go far in Europe’s premier competition. United, who were victorious last year, lost just once on the way to topping their Champions League group, putting them in a great position for their first knockout tie since April 2014.
The Red Devils suffered a shock defeat away to Newcastle United one and a half weeks ago, all but ending their slim hopes of winning their first league title since 2013, but have nonetheless been in strong form this season. They’ve lost just three of their last 15 games across all competitions, although two of their previous three away encounters ended in defeat. Old Trafford is proving to be a fortress once again, and a positive result this evening would give them a great chance of reaching the final eight.
A topsy-turvy LaLiga campaign has left Sevilla in danger of failing to qualify for next season’s Champions League, but they’ve impressed under Vincenzo Montella and head into tonight’s big clash with three consecutive wins under their belts. They’ve lost just three times since the former Milan boss took charge at the end of last year, and, like United, were beaten on only one occasion during the group stage.
This will be the first time these two sides have met one another in a competitive match, but Sevilla thoroughly enjoyed themselves the last time they came up against English opposition. Los Rojiblancos pulled off a phenomenal second-half comeback to draw 3-3 with Liverpool after going 3-0 down with just 30 minutes on the clock, although they were knocked out by another Premier League side in Leicester City at this very stage last season.
There’s just under 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
Manchester United substitutes: Sergio Romero, Matteo Darmian, Eric Bailly, Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford.
Manchester United XI (4-3-3): David de Gea; Antonio Valencia, Victor Lindelof, Chris Smalling, Ashley Young; Ander Herrera, Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay; Juan Mata, Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez.
Sevilla substitutes: David Soria, Daniel Carrico, Guido Pizarro, Roque Mesa, Nolito, Sandro Ramirez, Wissam Ben Yedder.
Sevilla XI (4-3-3): Sergio Rico; Jesus Navas, Gabriel Mercado, Clement Lenglet, Sergio Escudero; Ever Banega, Steven N’Zonzi, Franco Vazquez; Pablo Sarabia, Luis Muriel, Joaquin Correa.
Vincenzo Montella has decided to make three changes to the Sevilla side that started the win against Las Palmas on the weekend, with Escudero, Banega and Muriel coming into the starting line-up to replace Miguel Layun, Pizarro and Ben Yedder, respectively.
Meanwhile, United boss Jose Mourinho has also made three alterations to the team that featured in their last outing, with Romero, Luke Shaw and Michael Carrick making way for De Gea, Valencia and Herrera.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: SEVILLA 0-0 MANCHESTER UNITED
United defended well for most of the first half and caused the hosts a few problems on the break, but Sevilla head into the half-time break on the front foot after narrowly missing out on taking the lead late on. On two occasions it looked as if they had got the better of De Gea, but the Spaniard pulled off wonderful saves to keep his side in the game.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
FULL-TIME: SEVILLA 0-0 MANCHESTER UNITED
United will certainly be the happier of the two sides at the end of a game that, by and large, was controlled well by the visitors. The Sanchez Pizjuan is a difficult place to come to but Mourinho's men managed to leave with a valuable clean sheet, giving them a good chance of picking up a victory at Old Trafford in three weeks' time.
