Lazio hoof it downfield, looking for one last attack; Bonucci claims in midfield as the clock ticks over and the referee blows for full-time!
90' +4
Parolo! The Lazio man launches a volley off a Nani touch in the box, on the right six yards out - and hits the side netting. That could be it for the visitors.
90' +3
Calhanoglu holds the ball in a promising position for Milan, in line with the Lazio box on the left - but then he gives away a foul and the visitors blast their way downfield.
90' +1
It's frantic in the Milan box, as Milinkovic-Savic and Alberto both try to put shots on Donnarumma, only for the former to scuff the outside of the ball and the latter to be denied by Bonucci's manic overhead kick to clear.
90'
M. Parolo gets yellow.
Parolo gets a booking now for a hefty challenge on Biglia in midfield. Five - yes, five - added minutes are on the way.
89'
It's a poor effort from the visitors, who hit the first man - Abate - who clears it out and creates a getaway for Milan through midfield.
88'
Nani off the post! Lazio are throwing everything they have forward, and they are rewarded with a corner after Donnarumma puts it out for safety under pressure.
86'
I. Abate gets yellow.
And now a booking for Abate too, for a wild challenge out on his right wing, giving Lazio a free-kick 40 yards out in the opposition half, though they are unable to force the ball into the box.
85'
Bastos gets yellow.
A booking for Bastos now for a reckless challenge in Milan's half, giving the hosts a free-kick on their own 30 yard mark.
Lulic! A sitter for the Lazio captain, as he finds himself with an open net to head into - and instead skews it wide to Donnarumma who recovers from being out of position to collect. That should have been the equaliser.
83'
Nani enters the game and replaces A. Marušić.
Nani is the final change of the game, replacing Marusic as Lazio look for a late leveller.
Minute
Description
82'
It has been a more sedate affair in this half, when compared with the first quarter of the match; some mistakes are starting to slip in though. Biglia shuttles a pass out wide to the right for Borini; he puts it too far ahead of the substitute though and Lazio get the throw-in on halfway.
81'
F. Borini enters the game and replaces Suso.
Suso is off for Milan now as we ented the final ten minutes - and Fabio Borini takes his place. Can he add a third to secure the three points?
78'
Silva! My word, that could have been the winner for Milan; the substitute almost wraps his left foot around a cross floated in from the right by Suso, at the far post. He misses by inches and the ball skitters out for a goal-kick.
76'
Anderson breaks down the right for Lazio, and finds himself in open space on the edge of the Milan box; he pulls his shot well wide in the end though, struggling to control it at speed.
74'
Luiz Felipe enters the game and replaces S. de Vrij.
de Vrij departs for Lazio now; Luiz Felipe arrives for the visitors.
73'
Offside now against Lulic as he slips a ball through for Caicedo; both are visibly frustrated by the decision, with the latter feeling he has marginally kept himself onside for the play.
71'
André Silva enters the game and replaces P. Cutrone.
I. Abate enters the game and replaces L. Antonelli.
Two changes for the hosts now; Antonelli is replaced by Ignazio Abate...
...and Cutrone makes way for Andre Silva.
70'
Three shots from Milinkovic-Savic; three saves from Donnarumma, this time as the keeper stops an effort blown in from 25 yards out in centre-field, headed for just under the crossbar.
68'
Alberto crosses in from the left again, finding Caicedo at the right of the box. He lofts back into the middle for Milinkovic-Savic once more, who launches a half-volley from ten yards out - and sees his shot once again saved by Donnarumma's acrobatics.
66'
A golden chance for Milinkovic-Savic, as the Lazio man finds himself unmarked in the box with Milan's defence split down the middle. He puts a solid shot on for the bottom right corner - and Donnarumma dives to save, denying him the goal.
65'
L. Antonelli gets yellow.
Antonelli is booked now, though as Milan are awarded a throw-in, it is not entirely clear what for.
64'
A pause in play now for Bonucci to get medical treatment after a high ball challenge from Milinkovic-Savic sees the Lazio man bring the Milan defender to ground. The pair exchange heated words as the former is removed to the sidelines.
62'
Milinkovic-Savic lands a header on an Anderson cross tipped in from the left; his effort loops high and skitters over the crossbar, onto the roof of the goal netting. Close for Lazio.
61'
It's a poor corner for Milan; looped out to the edge of the box, Parolo reads it perfectly and spirits it away from danger to give Lazio the chance to counter.
60'
Milan earn a throw now and Antonelli puts Kessie away in midfield. The winger breaks down the left, dribbles around three defenders and manages to earn his side a corner after Bastos deflects his effort out.
59'
Corner to the visitors now, as Antonelli puts out a tap-on from Caicedo with a header. Lazio are unable to create anything worthwhile with it - and MIlan sweep it away from danger though Kessie.
58'
It's Milan again with the intent, with Suso this time breaking himself and trying to chip the ball round the defence, into the box for Cutrone. There's too much spin and power on his effort, and it skips out, again for a Lazio goal-kick.
56'
The intensity has dropped off for both teams again, as Suso tries to chase a long ball from Romagnoli lofted downfield. It runs too far for the forward and Lazio get the goal-kick.
54'
Milan have the marginal advantage in possession, with 54 percent at the San Siro, as well as seven attempts on goal, compared to Lazio's four. Yet, with only a single-score lead, this game hangs in the balance; the hosts would feel better if they could net again.
52'
Felipe Anderson enters the game and replaces Lucas Leiva.
Meanwhile, Lazio make their first change of the game too; Felipe Anderson comes on for Leiva.
51'
S. Lulić gets yellow.
Lulic becomes the fourth Lazio man to be booked in this game, after a bodycheck tackle on an advancing Biglia in midfield trying to counter after intercepting an Alberto pass.
50'
Caicedo lets rip with a big shot for Lazio, pulling it just wide to the left from the edge of the box. Milan's defence - rather watertight for the most part - looks a bit creaky in this second half so far,
48'
It's de Vrij who heads away Suso's effort, swept into the box, and then Lazio earn a free-kick of their own following a foul on Radu.
47'
Strakosha makes a meal of clearing a ball played back to him in the box, falling over under pressure from Cutrone, and then Milan get a free-kick 20 yards out on the right.
46'
We're back underway - after a brief delay - at the San Siro. Can Milan hold onto their lead and record a third straight win? Or will Lazio find a way to scupper their chances?
45' +1
Lazio try to sneak around the Milan defence on the left as the clock ticks over, but when they play the ball back to Leiva for a better angle, the referee blows the whistle for half-time!
45'
One added minute in the first half as we kick off again...
44'
G. Bonaventura has scored a goal for AC Milan! Assist by D. Calabria.
A deft delivery from Calabria too; nicely played in over the heads of the Lazio back-line.
Milan retake the lead on the cusp of half-time! Bonaventura's with the header, tucking in Calabria's cross from 20 yards on the right, the midfielder burying the ball into the roof of the goal with a sublime touch. The hosts are back out in front, with a minute or so left on the clock.
43'
Suso tries his luck from distance, 25 yards out on the right again, and once more pushes it wide by the far left post, albeit this time with more of a gap between the goal and the ball than before.
41'
S. Milinković-Savić gets yellow.
A third yellow card for Lazio now, as Milinkovic-Savic is booked for a challenge inside his own box. No penalty is awarded however, on the back of a Cutrone effort forcing Strakosha to leap and stop.
39'
Brave keeping from Donnarumma who slips in under a Caicedo break into the box to sweep the ball out from under his feet, foiling a Lazio attack.
37'
Calhanoglu sneaks through on the left and clips out wide and right to Suso - who pushes his shot just wide at the far-side post under pressure from de Vrij.
35'
It's calmed down out there for a moment, after near-constant attacks from both sides. Lazio look to hold it in midfield; Milan and Cutrone try to find a way through but find themselves foiled by Parolo and Lulic.
33'
Alberto! The Lazio man launches a monster shot from 25 yards out on the left that sprays across the face of the Milan goal, but obviously did enough to concern Donnarumma who dived - and missed - in an attempt to stop it.
31'
Suso floats in a cross looking for Calhanoglu or Bonaventura to meet on the left edge of the box; the ball has too much power behind it however and sails out on the full for a goal-kick.
29'
It's Calhanoglu with the duty this time, and he steers his effort into the box with a low, hanging strike. It gets tangled in the traffic of defenders and attackers, before the referee awards a free-kick to Lazio for a foul from Biglia on de Vrij.
28'
A. Marušić gets yellow.
Marusic is booked for a reckless tackle now as Milan are handed another prime chance in the shape of a free-kick 20 yards out again, this time on the left.
26'
Suso steps up to take - and goes close, just pulling his rocket of an effort wide at the near right post by inches. Gasps around the San Siro for that one.
25'
Ş. Radu gets yellow.
A free-kick in a promising place for Milan now, 20 yards out on the right, after Radu bodychecks Cutrone's advance. The Lazio man gets a booking for his troubles too.
24'
Lazio now try to find a second speedy score, only to be foiled by some rather lax passing in midfield; Milinkovic-Savic's lazy tap-on is stolen easily enough by Kessie.
22'
It's Milan's turn to look somewhat gobsmacked, though they respond with Suso lofting a cross out wide from the right looking for Bonaventura. Strakosha reads it well, and collects before volleying back downfield to cut off any chance of a follow-up attack.
20'
A. Marušić has scored a goal for Lazio! Assist by Lucas Leiva.
That was a pinpoint-perfect pass from Leiva to assist, though Milan's defence should really have cleared it up. After that constant assault on the Lazio backline, the hosts have leaked that one cheaply.
Well that's one way to stop the rot! Lazio equalise within five minutes as, against the run of play, Leiva slips a fabulous crossfield pass into the box for Marusic, who comes in off the right wing to claim. The midfielder steps off his right foot, nudges the ball back inside, and drills it into the bottom left corner, despite Donnarumma's best efforts to stop it. In the blink of an eye, it's all square again, 1-1 at the San Siro.
17'
Lazio look shell-shocked by the speed and ferocity of Milan's attack and they are almost caught unaware again as Kessie slips Suso through out wide on the right. The end shot is stuffed into the side netting but the visitors need to steady the ship before they go under here.
15'
P. Cutrone has scored a goal for AC Milan! Assist by H. Çalhanoğlu.
And heads it into the top of the goal! Patrick Cutrone scores the opener at the San Siro as Calhanoglu's free-kick swings wickedly in for the striker to knock hom, above Strakosha's reach. Milan have the lead with a quarter-hour played.
Calhanoglu put a lovely little spin on the ball as he clipped it into the net with that free-kick there; it dipped slower than the Lazio defence anticipated and Cutrone was able to burst out of the huddle and bury it with his head into the netting. A well-earned lead for the effort put in so far by the hosts.
14'
Free-kick to Milan, on the left edge of the Lazio box now, after a silly foul by Bastos trying to fell Calhanoglu. Cutrone positions himself in the middle of the huddle in the penalty area...
13'
This is relentless from Milan, as Cutrone bursts into the box again. His shot takes a wicked deflection off de Vrij from the left and Strakosha collects, but the hosts are pressing for that opener with vicious intent.
11'
Lazio manage to usher the corner away, despite a brief moment where Cutrone found himself unmarked in the box; the Milan man opts to play inside to Suso instead and the chance is lost as de Vrij clears.
10'
Shot from Cutrone! That is a monster of a strike by the Milan forward, who dribbles inside three Lazio defenders from the left and launches a right footer for the near-top corner. It's a superb save from Strakosha too, tipping it just around the post for a corner, to deny what would have been a marvellous goal.
9'
Frantic play in the Milan box as Lazio cut in through Leiva, who plays back in for Alberto - and only finds Biglia, who hacks it away from danger.
8'
End-to-end stuff as Caicedo's efforts are thwarted by Bonucci doubling back, and Milan create a counter of their own, sending Calabria harking off down the right wing, though his finish leaves much to be desired, spilling wide and to Bastos.
7'
Free-kick to Milan now, 35 yards out on the left. Bonaventura opts to play it wide and right rather than into the box - and immediately rues his decision as Caicedo bursts out of the defensive line and intercepts, to spark a counter for Lazio.
5'
Lazio, in blue, are playing from left to right in this first half, and seem rather more cautious than the home side, probing at the midfield through Parolo. His pass crossfield to the left fails to find Luis Alberto and Kessie sweeps in to clean up.
3'
It's Milan with the first attack of the game, as Suso breaks through the midfield and canters down the right before launching a 25 yard effort that screams past the far left post by a foot or so. As opening salvos go, it's a rather impressive strike from the hosts.
1'
We're underway at the San Siro, under a late January fog! Can Milan make it three wins on the bounce for the first time in ten months? Or will Lazio keep up their sterling work near the top of the table?
Hello and welcome to live coverage of Serie A, as high-flying Lazio face off against AC Milan at the San Siro. The visitors put four past their opponents in the reverse fixture earlier in the 2017-18 campaign, for the first time since October 1999; can they complete their first such league double for forty years today? Kick-off is just around the corner.
AC MILAN (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Romagnoli, Calabria, Bonucci, Antonelli; Kessie, Biglia, Bonaventura; Suso, Calhanoglu, Cutrone
Despite a mixed season, Milan are unbeaten at home against Lazio in the league for almost thirty years, since September 1989, with 16 wins in that period. They face off against a side however who have only lost once on the road this season, against Roma at the Olimpico, and who will be well-motivated to achieve a history-making victory against the Rossoneri.
Expect a flurry of goals from the visitors if the form book is anything to go by; Lazio have scored at least three goals in five of their last six league games. In addition, Marco Parolo has scored five goals against Milan in Serie A, more than against any other team.
In the last seven matchdays, Milan have fired in the most shots on target in Serie A, with an impressive 46. Conversely though, they have recorded more red cards than any other side in the top flight this season, bar Verona, with five dismissals.
Milan have won their last two Serie A games against Crotone and Cagliari; the last time they reached three successive wins was in March 2017.
No other side is as good at scoring from set-pieces as Lazio are; they have netted more goals than anyone else from such situations in Serie A so far this season, with 16.
The teams are out and we're moments away from kick-off...
It looked as if Milan were going to walk all over their visitors after they started on fire, with an early goal for Patrick Cutrone - then Lazio flipped the script and equalised against the run of play. Both sides looked to be sharing the spoils at the break - except nobody told that to Bonaventura, who headed home with minutes on the clock. The hosts have the lead - at half-time, it's Milan 2-1 Lazio.
Wild cheers erupt around the San Siro as Milan players celebrate their victory. Three on the bounce has been a long time coming for the hosts - and thanks to two great headers in the first half, they have held out to grab three much-needed points. Lazio played their part in a pulsating encounter - but in the end, the spoils go to the home side. At full time in Serie A, it finishes Milan 2-1 Lazio.
There'll be some familiar faces in store next time out for both sides; it's a repeat fixture on Wednesday night, when Milan host Lazio once more in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final. Until then however, thank you for joining us - and have a good week!
