J. Bennett gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
RED CARD! He probably should've gone in the first half and Joe Bennett earns his marching orders after another poor tackle, this time on Diaz.
90' +1
Into three minutes of added time, following a very comfortable match for Manchester City.
89'
Brahim Díaz enters the game and replaces Bernardo Silva.
Manchester City follow suit with a change of their own, with Bernardo Silva replaced by Brahim Diaz for his sixth senior appearance.
88'
L. Damour enters the game and replaces J. Ralls.
Final change of the game for Cardiff, who introduce Loic Damour in place of Ralls.
87'
SAVE! A superb save from Etherington, who got down well to keep Danilo's shot out after the Brazilian full-back was fed through by Gundogan.
86'
Apparently Cardiff have had 10 attempts in this game, just two of which were on target. In all honesty, I can't recall even half of that amount.
84'
SAVE! Manchester City surge forward in numbers and Bernardo Silva has plenty of space to attack but his effort is far too tame, making it an easy save for Etherington.
83'
Cardiff have grown into the game more as the second half progresses but I still can't recall a clear-cut chance for the home side.
81'
Feeney's first real contribution of the game sees him skin Otamendi out wide but Paterson diverts the ball over the bar after the cross was lofted into the middle.
80'
Fernandinho gets yellow.
Fernandinho becomes the first Manchester City player in the book, as he takes out Grujic to bring an end to a Cardiff attacking move.
Minute
Description
78'
L. Feeney enters the game and replaces N. Mendez-Laing.
Another change for Cardiff, again in the attacking area, as Blackburn loanee Liam Feeney replaces Mendez-Laing.
77'
B. Ecuele Manga gets yellow.
Second yellow card of the game for Cardiff, as Ecuele Manga has his name taken for a poor tackle on Aguero.
76'
SAVE! An incredible threaded ball from De Bruyne unleashes Sterling but his poked effort at goal is blocked by the legs of Etherington.
74'
It's taken almost three quarters of the match but Cardiff are starting to make a game of it here. Why they didn't do this earlier is anyone's guess but it has got the home faithful making some noise again.
72'
HANDBALL! Well, another contentious decision! Morrison pokes a ball towards Walker following a corner and it definitely strikes the hand of the England international, although it certainly wasn't intentional.
70'
Some signs of life from Cardiff then but it remains Manchester City who are on the front foot. Barring a miraculous turnaround, Guardiola's side will be in the draw tomorrow night.
68'
CLOSE! Junior Hoilett agonisingly close to a goal to remember! The Canadian cut inside and fired a fierce effort from outside the box, curling towards the far post. Bravo had no chance but it's inches above the bar.
67'
A. Pilkington enters the game and replaces K. Zohorè.
First change of the match for Cardiff and Zohore, who is knackered and has worked extremely hard to put City's defence under pressure, is replaced by Pilkington.
65'
SAVE! Zohore beats one defender and then strikes an ambitious effort from just inside the box but it's far too easy for Bravo.
63'
Cardiff are barely putting City under any pressure at all. The past minute or so has just seen the visitors knocking the ball around defence, with the hosts sat around the halfway line.
61'
Cardiff have shown absolutely nothing in this match. If this was supposed to be a statement of intent to show that they can go toe-to-toe with Premier League sides then they've fallen well short of that goal.
59'
This has been an exhibition match for a while, with Manchester City just doing whatever they want with the ball. They're not quite attacking with their full intent and they don't really need to in truth.
57'
Manchester City fans now winding up their Welsh counterparts with chants of England, which certainly won't be popular.
55'
CHANCE! Cardiff finally have a sight at goal! A long ball is flicked on by Paterson, which Zohore runs onto and then smashes a shot way over the bar.
53'
What a tackle! Sterling looks set to net Manchester City's third, rounding Etheridge but being prevented from tucking the ball into the empty net by a superb tackle from Morrison.
52'
City continue to look dangerous on the attack, with Aguero bursting down the right. He can't quite get a shot away and neither can Sterling.
50'
De Bruyne concedes a foul inside the Cardiff half for a high boot, catching Jazz Richards.
48'
Guardiola's side have reshuffled in that change with Sterling, who played through the middle in the first half, now on the left and Bernardo Silva continues no the right.
46'
S. Agüero enters the game and replaces L. Sané.
City make their first change at the break but it isn't a young talent earning a bow. Instead, Sergio Aguero enters the frame. If you listen, you can hear the Cardiff players gulping.
45' +2
THREE minutes added on at the end of the first period.
45'
J. Bennett gets yellow.
Yellow card for Bennett. Sane burst forward, past a number of Cardiff players, and was then cynically brought down by Bennett. There was studs showing and he's incredibly fortunate to escape with just a booking.
KICK OFF! Back underway for the second period, where Manchester City have a two goal lead and now kick to the right.
43'
Guardiola's side have taken their foot off the gas and may use the second half as an opportunity to give minutes to their young continent, with many on the bench that could be looked at.
41'
The biggest concern for Cardiff is that, despite Manchester City's sheer quality, the two goals have been incredibly easy to score. You can't afford to allow that to happen and it's a lesson the Welsh side need to learn quickly if they make their way to the Premier League for next season.
39'
Incredibly frustrating for Warnock, who has seen his side concede eight minutes into the game and then eight minutes before the break. His plans for the match will have to change once again and from here you really can't see any path back into the tie for the hosts.
37'
R. Sterling has scored a goal for Manchester City! Assist by Bernardo Silva.
Bernardo Silva's cross was pinpoint and this match now could open up even further.
GOAL! City get their second and they're in easy street! Bernardo Silva whips in a superb cross into the middle, where Sterling has acres of room in the middle and heads the ball into the ground, which bounces past Etheridge.
35'
Cardiff have shown some moments of inspiration, particularly when attacking Danilo, but Bravo has had an easy afternoon so far.
33'
Cardiff will take comfort in the fact they have just about restricted Manchester City to scoring just the once, although I won't give any prizes to whoever guesses what the big discussion will surround at half time.
31'
Manchester City, despite having a second chalked off, look under not threat at all. Cardiff had a decent five minute spell but have found it extremely difficult here.
29'
Well, I guess all the matters is it remains 1-0 to Manchester City.
27'
Pep Guardiola gets a stern telling off from the referee but he, like the rest of us, is completely baffled about what is actually going on.
25'
OFFSIDE! Bernardo Silva fires home, seemingly doubling Manchester City's lead, but there's huge confusion as the flag is raised. It initially appeared to have been given but the flag was raised on the far side, with Sane obstructing the keeper's line of view. That's an extremely controversial decision.
23'
City continue to dominate possession with fluid passing moves and poor old Cardiff have no idea who to track, as Guardiola has his side playing with freedom.
21'
Cardiff will be pleased with their response in the past five minutes, having initially struggled, and we certainly have a game on our hands. After finally seeing a replay of Bravo's fumble, it certainly wasn't across the line.
19'
CHANCE! Superb delivery from Bennett and Cardiff have two men in the middle. The cross was curling away from Bravo, preventing him from coming out to collect, but neither of the attacking players can get onto the end of it.
18'
Cardiff look to create problems with a long throw and the ball bounces around in the air for a few moments before Manchester City get it away. It's certainly been a vast improvement for the hosts in the past few minutes.
16'
CLOSE! Cardiff looked to have found an equaliser there as Bravo fumbled the ball and clawed it back off the line. The home support believed it was in and it's raised the noises levels inside the stadium.
14'
I honestly can't recall Cardiff completing pass in the attacking half here. The Citizens have another free-kick as Morrison fouls Danilo and is perhaps fortunate not to pick up a booking.
12'
An early goal is exactly what Neil Warnock didn't want and his Cardiff side haven't managed to establish a foothold in the game yet. The visitors have far too much room to work with.
10'
Gundogan, thankfully, is back on the field. Manchester City now have their advantage and Cardiff may have to change their game plan.
8'
K. De Bruyne has scored a goal for Manchester City!
GOAL! A superb and smart free-kick from De Bruyne! Cardiff's wall jumps and the Belgian just passes an effort under the defensive line, making it look incredibly simple.
7'
This doesn't look good for Gundogan, who has stayed down following that challenge. The former Borussia Dortmund man is receiving treatment but they could be forced into a very early change.
6'
SAVE! Gundogan forces Etherington into action as Manchester City hit their opponents on the break. The German has since been fouled and now have a free-kick in a dangerous area.
5'
Short break in play as a big, inflatable ball had found it's way onto the pitch and gives Claudio Bravo his first touch of the game.
3'
First moment of excitement comes from the home side, as Mendez-Laing bursts past Danilo but cannot find Hoilett with his cut back.
1'
KICK OFF! We're underway in Cardiff, where the hosts get us going and kick to the right.
Good afternoon and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the FA Cup fourth round clash between Cardiff City and Manchester City, where the Bluebirds will be dreaming of a huge upset.
Required a replay to overcome Mansfield in the last round, Cardiff will take inspiration from the likes of Wigan and Nottingham Forest as they seek to claim a huge scalp in the FA Cup. The promotion-chasing Championship side are in good form, standing unbeaten in their last five games across Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola will be determined not to follow Liverpool and Arsenal with an early exit in the FA Cup, which is perhaps why such a strong side has been named today. The Citizens eased past Burnley in the previous round, winning 4-1, and have won three of their four games since.
Cardiff XI: Neil Etheridge; Bruno Ecuele Manga, Sean Morrison, Callum Paterson; Jazz Richards, Marko Grujic, Joe Ralls, Joe Bennett; Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, Junior Hoilett, Kenneth Zohore.
Man City XI: Claudio Bravo; Kyle Walker, Nicolas Otamendi, Vincent Kompany, Danilo; Kevin De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Ilkay Gundogan; Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane.
Cardiff subs: Anthony Pilkington, Brian Murphy, Liam Feeney, Omar Bogle, Greg Halford, Lee Tomlin, Loic Damour.
Man City subs: Ederson, Tosin Adarabioyo, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Brahim Diaz, Sergio Aguero, Eliaquim Mangala, John Stones.
Cardiff make two changes to the side that beat Mansfield in an FA Cup third round replay, with Liverpool loanee Grujic and Mendez-Laing coming into the side.
Guardiola also reshuffles his deck, making three changes from the side that beat Burnley. Stones, Zinchenko and Aguero drop to the bench, with their places taken by Kompany, Walker and Bernardo Silva.
HALF TIME! Manchester City have a 2-0 lead at the break and have enjoyed total control over Cardiff. Kevin De Bruyne gave the visitors the lead with a superb free-kick and it looked like Bernardo Silva had doubled their advantage, only to see it controversially disallowed for offside. No matter though, as he was the provider for Raheem Sterling and City do have a two-goal lead at the break.
Whatever Cardiff had planned for this game, it hasn't worked. Guardiola's side have run rings around the hosts, who can't get anything going. The Bluebirds have showed glimpses of threat, particularly down the right, but Claudio Bravo has had an easy afternoon- which is perhaps why he was caught sleeping for Hoilett's effort from distance, almost fumbling it over the line.
City are in cruise control and Pep Guardiola has every reason to be furious at the break, seeing his side have a legimate goal ruled out and then watching Joe Bennett dangerously lunge in on Leroy Sane but escaping a red card. From here though, it's really a case of how many do Manchester City want to score.
FULL TIME! Manchester City ease their way into the fifth round of the FA Cup after a routine victory over Cardiff City, who failed to offer much in this game. Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling are the players with the goals this afternoon but there was a number of controversial decisions against the Citizens, including a disallowed Bernardo Silva goal.
Cardiff weren't up to the test this afternoon and their performance was largely disappointing. The Welsh side were never really expected to get anything from this tie but they never really showed any intent. Neil Warnock's side will now be fully focused on the Championship promotion push, though they'll be without Joe Bennett for the upcoming cash with Leeds.
For Manchester City, it's another hurdle easily jumped over. They'll certainly be the side to avoid in tomorrow night's fifth round draw and we're now entering the stage of the competition when things start to heat up. The immediate challenge for the Citizens is a Premier League clash with West Brom on Wednesday evening, as they continue their stride towards the title.
