CONSOLATION GOAL! What a moment for 19-year-old Nikolaou in his twelth goal for Olympiakos. Fortounis whips in a corner to the penalty spot and the youngster arches his neck to head into the far corner past ter Stegen. He'll feel slightly redeemed for his earlier own goal.

DOUBLE SAVE! Fantastic double save from Proto as Messi continues to enjoy himself. The argentinean striker bursts through allowing Paulinho the chance to shoot. His effort is well saved from close range as is Messi's on the rebound.

Assist Lionel Andrés Messi Cuccittini
GOAL! (3-0) Messi's confidence is flowing and it's difficult to remember that Barcelona are a man down here. He teases Koutris at the byline, nips past him and finds Lucas Digne lurking at the back post who takes time to settle himself before firing a low left-footed rocket into the far corner.
61'
L. Messi has scored a goal for Barcelona!
GOALLLLLL! (2-0) Messi grabs his 100th goal in UEFA compeitions. There was a sense of anticipation around the rain-soaked Nou Camp and so it proved. 20 yards from goal, he placed his free kick expertly over the wall and Proto couldn't keep it out.
60'

The Olympiakos fans feel invigorated and can be heard above their hosts for the first time in the game. Perhaps they can sense a comeback is on the cards!
56'
Lemonis is so close to reaping the rewards for that attacking change straight away as the ball flashes across goal but nobody is close enough to ter Stegen's goal to tap home.
55'
U. Đurđević enters the game and replaces G. Gillet.
Substitution: £2.5m-rated summer signing Uros Djurdjevic is introduced in an attacking change for the Greek champions. He comes on for Guillaume Gillet
53'
Iniesta still seems unplayable even at 33-years-old as is held unfairly while twisted and turning in the middle of the park winning a free kick for his side, which is wasted.
50'
Suarez has been lively so far in this second half but can't quite connect properly as Proto smothers his swipe at the ball just six yards from goal. Proto's first Champions League appearence came in 2005 for Anderlecht and he was one of three players to get sent off for the Belgian club against current employers Olympiakos in 2013.
48'
Despite being a man down the hosts predictably still hold the lion's share of possession as Busquets fails to find Suarez making a darting run into the box.
46'
J. Mascherano enters the game and replaces Deulofeu.
Substitution: Harsh on the winger after a bright first half display, but Deulofeu is replaced by Mascherano in an attempt to become more resolute at the back following Pique's dismissal.
42'
Piqué gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
DAFT DEFENDER: Pique is such an experienced defender but sees red for the eighth time in Barcelona colours. Attempting to handle the ball over the line to grab his side a second from a Deulofeu cross, he is caught out by the officials. Will that give the away side some hope?
41'
Sensational skill from Suarez on the byline who nutmegs the unfortunate Olympiakos defender Jacques-Alaixys Romao . He can't see anyone to pass to in the box and loses possession.
39'
The ball is back under the spell of Valverde's team, with Busquets' cross evading everyone in the box and exiting the field for a throw on the far side.

As Juventus draw level at home to Sporting Lisbon elsehwere in Group D, Barcelona have their tenth effort of the first half with a free kick from the right sailing harmlessly over. Olympiakos are yet to test the goal of ter Stegen.

Fantastic defensive block to deny Messi a low, hard strike at goal from Paulinho's knock-down. Lots of grit and determination shown by the Greek champions here but it already looks as though the points will go one way tonight.
25'
OFF THE BAR! The hosts really turning up the pressure here as Iniesta and summer signing Paulinho connect once more. This time the spanish World Cup winner lofts a delightful ball onto the head of the former-Tottenham midfielder whose header bounces back off the crossbar.

D. Nikolaou is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
OWN GOAL! (1-0) Very harsh on the youngster Nikolaou! Sergi Roberto goes on a marauding run, works it out to Deulofeu on the right who runs at his marker into the box putting in a ball for Messi but Nikolaou beats him to it and diverts it past experienced keeper Proto.
16'
Olympiakos, playing in their traditional red and white striped kit, will be pleased with their start at the Nou Camp. Athanasios Androutsos is pulled back for offside again down the left-hand side of the Barca defence, which Lemonis' side seem to be targetting.

Luis Suarez gets us underway in the teeming rain as Barcelona look to break through a packed Olympiakos defence. Seven changes from the weekend league win for the visitors, who leave dangerman Konstantinos Fortounis on the bench.
Ernesto Valverde's side have only lost one home Champions League fixture since October 2009 but did require a late Luis Suarez equaliser to salvage a point at Atletico Madrid in their last outing. Valverde knows the Greek champions well, having enjoyed a trophy laden three-year spell at the club winning the Greek Super League on three occasions.
Barcelona XI (4-3-3): Ter Stegen; Roberto, Umtiti, Pique, Digne; Paulinho, Iniesta, S. Busquets; Messi, L. Suarez, Deulofeu.
Barcelona substitutes: Cillessen (GK), Gomes, Mascherano, Paco, Rakitic, Semedo, D. Suarez.
Olympiakos travel to Catalonia having never won against Spanish opposition. They're managed by legendary boss Takis Lemonis, in his fourth spell in charge of the club, who will need veteran keeper Silvio Proto to be on his mettle if they're to gain their first Group D points.
Welcome to our LIVE text commentary of the Champions league: The first competitive meeting between these two sides on the football pitch (they meet occasionally in Basketball), Barcelona can consolidate their position at the top of Group D while Olympiakos need to sharply turn around their early season form if they're to progress past the group stages.
As the players exit the tunnel at the Nou Camp led by Scottish referee William Collum, a gigantic banner is unfurled emblazoned with the phrase “Dialogue, Respect, and Sport” to call attention to the current political situation in Catalonia.
HALF TIME: (Barcelona 1-0 Olympiakos) As some Barca players remonstrate with referee Collum, Valderde's side lead 1-0 at the interval by courtesy of Nikolaou's 18th-minute own goal. The impressive Deulofeu cut inside on the right looking to find Messi in the box but the defender instead diverted the ball into his own net.
Takis Lemonis knows his team are low on confidence, currently sitting pointless at the bottom of Group D, but surely he has to introduce some more attacking impetus to their second half display considering they have a man advantage. Konstantinos Fortounis is the most likely to provide that, with five goals and three assists in his last ten games.
There's no doubting that was a one-sided affair as these two meet for the first time in competitive football. Even with his side at a man disadvantage, Messi will be wanting to add to his Champions League tally of two goals this term if he is to catch current top scorer Harry Kane.
FULL TIME: (Barcelona 3-1 Olympiakos) Messi grabs his 100th goal in European football clipping home a 20-yard free kick before setting up Lucas Digne with fantastic skill at the byline to seel the three points. Olympiakos defender Nikolaou had inadvertently opened the scoring for the hosts early on but then scored a memorable consolation late on with the visitors only shot on target of the game.
The scoreline didn't tell the whole story at the Nou Camp with Gerard Pique making the evening slightly more difficult than it had to be with a blatant handball into the back of the net trying to connect by any means with the impressive Deulofeu's cross. Valverde, against an Olympiakos outfit he managed for three years, consolidates Barca's posiition at the summit of Group D.
Lemonis' Olympiakos remain rooted at the bottom of Group D with both Barcelona and Juventus both to visit their Georgios Karaiskáki Stadium in the coming weeks. They continue their dimsal record of having never beaten spanish opposition.
