R. Sterling has scored a goal for Manchester City! Assist by Danilo.

Danilo did well to pick out Sterling with a well-placed pass inside the middle of the Bournemouth box, but he was able to find a pocket of space over on the right-hand side of the penalty area that he really shouldn't have been able to pick out.
GOAL! City have surely won the game right at the death! The visitors to keep piling bodies forward as they desperately try to find a late winner. Danilo links up well with Sterling and plays a quick one-two with the winger, who then fires a shot off Surman and into the bottom left-hand corner of the net. Heartbreaking for the home side!

The fourth official has indicated that there will be five minutes of added time.

68'

59'
It's been a slightly quiet second half for City, who aren't pushing forward with the same intensity that characterised their attacking moves before the break. Bournemouth are looking more assured at the back, and it wouldn't be at all surprising if Pep Guardiola decides to make a change in the not too distant future.
57'
Smith's pass from the resulting set-piece is poor, and it can only find Sterling on the edge of the City penalty area. The winger quickly sets up De Bruyne to burst forward and whip a low cross into the Bournemouth box, where Bernardo Silva tries to reach the ball but can't do so as it's played slightly behind him.
56'
V. Kompany gets yellow.
David Silva gets yellow.
David Silva is also shown a yellow card after arguing with the referee about the decision to card Kompany.

40'
A thumping low cross into the heart of the hosts' penalty area looks set to pick out Jesus in front of goal, but Ake sticks out a leg to make sure it can't. The defender seems to land awkwardly as he does, leaving him in serious discomfort and in need of medical treatment.
38'
More good play by City out wide sees Danilo knock a clever pass back to Fernandinho on the edge of the Bournemouth box. The Brazilian midfielder the quickly tries to set up David Silva in front of goal, but there's slightly too much power behind his pass and it rolls behind for a goal-kick.

That goal seems to have filled City full of confidence, and the visitors are now knocking the ball around with real purpose. The two Silvas link up nicely in the middle of the pitch before David tries to test Begovic from 25 yards out, but his curling effort sails a yard or two over the top of the crossbar.
24'

21'

GOAL! City are back in the game! A free-kick for the visitors is taken quickly and sent short to David Silva. The Spaniard spots a clever run forward from Jesus and perfectly picks out the Brazilian, who gets the better of Ake and toe-pokes a low strike past Begovic from close range.
That was an excellent ball forward from David Silva, who perfectly picked out Jesus just inside the Bournemouth box. He arguably should have been closed down quicker but the home side were always going to struggle to deal with a pass that good.
20'
Bernardo Silva charges through the middle of the pitch on a determined run before working the ball over to Benjamin Mendy out wide. The full-back then knocks a pass back to Sterling, who quickly shoots from the edge of the box, but the winger's strike is underhit and easily saved by Begovic.

17'
City move the ball around nicely inside the Bournemouth half of the pitch before Raheem Sterling chips a pass into the hosts' penalty area and towards Jesus. It fails to pick out the striker, however, as it's slightly overhit and easily dealt with by Begovic.
15'
Chance for Otamendi! Gabriel Jesus battles his way down the right wing and does well to win City a corner. It's fired in low by De Bruyne and picks out Otamendi, who rushes onto the ball but can't hit the target with his rocket of a shot from 12 yards out.
13'
C. Daniels has scored a goal for AFC Bournemouth!
GOAL! What a strike by Charlie Daniels! Bournemouth continue putting pressure on the City back line as they enjoy an excellent start to the game. A chipped cross in from Dan Gosling is cut out by Kompany, but the defender can only clear the ball as far as Daniels. 8'
The free-kick is finally taken and fired down the right wing towards King, but the striker can't latch onto the ball on the edge of the City penalty area and loses out near to the byline.
7'
King is caught from behind by Otamendi, and Bournemouth are awarded a free-kick just inside the City half of the pitch. A few hefty challenges have been committed by the visitors in the last few minutes, so the referee decides to give Otamendi and Vincent Kompany a quick talking to.

Almost an early chance for Josh King! The Norwegian spins round two City players in the middle of the pitch before setting up Smith over on the right flank. The wing-back cuts inside and picks out King in front of goal, but the striker can't get a decent shot away and loses out at the vital moment.

We're off! Bournemouth get us underway, attacking from right to left.
Good afternoon and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Premier League game between Bournemouth and Manchester City at the Vitality Stadium.
Bournemouth were handed a relatively easygoing start to the season with games against West Bromwich Albion and Watford, but their inability to pick up neither a point or a goal from either clash will have worried Eddie Howe. His side have struggled in the final third of the pitch, and it’s something he’ll be hoping Jermain Defoe can remedy on what will be his first league start for the Cherries since October 2000.
Despite the difficulties faced in their two opening games of the Premier League season, Bournemouth did manage to pick up a morale-boosting 2-1 win away to Birmingham City in the Carabao Cup during the week. It was a much-changed side that featured that night, but five of the players involved on Tuesday have been named in the starting line-up today and will be looking to build on that victory with another positive performance.
After spending more than £250m during the summer, Pep Guardiola will be well aware that a fourth season without a league title will be seen as a failure by the club’s owners. Many have predicted that this campaign’s fight for top spot will be between the two Manchester sides, so, with two points currently separating them, City will be aiming to pick up a second win of the season today to momentarily leapfrog their rivals.
The season might still be in its infancy but City can’t afford to leave the Vitality Stadium empty-handed if they’re to challenge for the title. They eventually managed to break down a stubborn Brighton & Hove Albion side in their opening game of the season before just about managing to pick up a draw away to Everton, so Guardiola will be hoping for a more relaxing and comprehensive victory this afternoon.
A repeat of last season’s corresponding fixture would suit City nicely, as they were comfortably on top of Bournemouth from start to finish. Raheem Sterling, who is set to start today, scored his side’s opener before Tyrone Mings made it 2-0 with an own-goal, extending the Sky Blues' unbeaten run against a Cherries side that have never before got the better of them in a competitive game.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this afternoon…
Bournemouth XI (5-3-2): Begovic; Adam Smith, Steve Cook, Ake, Mings, Daniels; Gosling, Surman, Arter; Defoe, King.
Manchester City substitutes: Bravo, Mangala, Stones, Delph, Toure, Sane, Aguero.
Manchester City XI (4-1-4-1): Ederson; Danilo, Kompany, Otamendi, Mendy; Fernandinho; Bernardo Silva, David Silva, De Bruyne, Sterling; Jesus.
Eddie Howe has decided to make three changes to the Bournemouth side that started last weekend’s defeat against Watford, with Tyrone Mings, Dan Gosling and Jermain Defoe coming into the starting line-up to replace Ryan Fraser, Jordan Ibe and Benik Afobe as they switch to a five-man defence.
Meanwhile, City boss Pep Guardiola has made four alterations to the team that featured at home to Everton, with Kyle Walker, John Stones, Leroy Sane and Sergio Aguero making way for Danilo, debutant Benjamin Mendy, Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: BOURNEMOUTH 1-1 MANCHESTER CITY
Bournemouth enjoyed a wonderful start to the game thanks to a world-class half-volley from Daniels, but it's been an incredibly tough afternoon for them since then. The goal seemed to finally kick City into action, and the visitors now find themselves firmly on top as they desperately search for a way in front. Jesus managed to get them back into the game after linking up brilliantly with David Silva, but the Cherries have just about managed to stop their opponents from finding that all-important second goal.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
FULL-TIME: BOURNEMOUTH 1-2 MANCHESTER CITY
Well, what an end to the game that was! Bournemouth looked as if they were going to pick up what would have been a well-earned point, but they were carved apart in the final minute and have to leave empty-handed. It was the cruellest of ways for them to lose, and it's left their players incredibly angry as they continue to protest with the referee about his decision to let the game continue for so long.
City kept fighting hard and did well to finally break down Bournemouth's well-organised back line. They weren't at their best for most of the afternoon, but, like all top teams, just about had enough in the locker to finally find a way in front with one of the final kicks of the game. It wasn't pretty, but Guardiola will no doubt be pleased with the final score.
