And we're under way here at Turf Moor.
Good afternoon and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Premier League game between Burnley and West Ham United at Turf Moor.
The Clarets were beaten in the reverse fixture between the two sides in December but have picked up four points from their previous three games and will look to sign off the season on a high on home turf after an impressive campaign.
The Hammers head to Turf Moor having picked up only one point from their previous eight games, including a 4-0 defeat to Liverpool last weekend; and they will be desperate to give their fans something to cheer about today.
With 15 minutes to go until kick-off, let’s take a look at the line-ups…
Burnley can look forward to another season in the Premier League as Hull City’s defeat to Crystal Palace wrapped up the relegation dogfight last weekend. Sean Dyche’s men go into their final game of the season with the opportunity to finish as high as 11th place; including leapfrogging today's opponents.
West Ham, however, have had an underwhelming season to say the least following the move to their new stadium. The Hammers have done enough to keep themselves in the Premier League but the fans and board alike will be hoping for more next season.
Three changes to the West Ham side from their defeat to Liverpool last week, with Angelo Ogbonna, Sofiane Feghouli and Robert Snodgrass coming to replace Winston Reid, Havard Nordveit and Jonathan Calleri.
The players are heading out onto the pitch with kick-off just a few minutes away.
Burnley make two changes to their starting line-up from last weekend, with Robbie Brady replacing George Boyd and Andre Gray replacing Ashley Barnes, who drops to the bench.
A lively and open game from the off as both sides showing the intent to end their seasons on a positive. Sam Vokes gave Burnley the lead after Gray's pass found him in acres of space and Sofiane Feghouli equalised mere minutes later following a clever flick from Andre Ayew. Both sides had chances to take the lead and it is still all to play for in the second half.
The second-half is imminent as the players are back out onto the pitch.
A scrappy second-half, far from the quality on display in the first is sealed by an equally scrappy goal. Ayew latched onto a loose ball following a shot from Fernandes for what turned out to be the match winner. Burnley tried desperately to push forward and get something from the game but a resolute West Ham defence, lead by the impressive James Collins, stood firm to secure the three points.
