V. van Dijk has scored a goal for Southampton! Assist by D. Tadić.
Tadic picks out Van Dijk for 1-1.
GOOOOOAAAAAAALLLL FOR SOUTHAMPTON! A ray of hope for the Saints! Tadic sends a searching cross into the box and it falls to Van Dijk, who takes in with an assured touch before firing a deflected strike home! One-one.
90'
Three minuted of added time is all Southampton have to wait until they are met with a sea of boos from the crowd. You can certainly have sympathy for the fans are they probably won't believe how their players have managed to lose this.
88'
Van Dijk is now being deployed as a centre-forward for the Saints now as the former Celtic man attempts to get on the end of the speculative balls pumped up top. This isn't going to happen for Puel and his charges as the the game drags out to a disappointing climax for the hosts.
86'
Everything from Southampton is being fired up top now as they desperately attempt to try and grab at least one goal. That won't do them, though, as on the head-to-head they will still be knocked out with the draw due to the 0-0 stalemate in Israel at the end of September. The hosts need a miracle now.
84'
Southampton have nobody but themselves to blame here as with a knockout stage place on the line, they have showed a desperate lack of passion and intensity to try and qualify. Now, they need to score TWICE in six minutes in order to avoid a chorus of boos from the home fans at full-time!
82'
J. Ward-Prowse enters the game and replaces P. Højbjerg.
Claude Puel finally reacts to that goal from Be'er Sheva and introduces James Ward-Prowse in place of Hojbjerg, who certainly did not cover himself in glory for that goal from the visitors.
81'
D. Goresh gets yellow.
A booking for Goresh now. Ten minutes to go for Southampton to save their European season!
79'
A brilliant introduction for Shabtai as he assists only moments after coming on!
GOOOAAAAALLLL! GOOOOAAAALLL FOR BE'ER SHEVA! A dramatic opener from the visitors! Shabtai gains the assist only moments after coming on as he passes square to Buzaglo, who fires an absolutely cracking finish into the bottom left corner acros Forster! ONE-NIL!
78'
M. Buzaglo has scored a goal for Hapoel Be'er Sheva! Assist by Y. Shabtai.
77'
Y. Shabtai enters the game and replaces M. Korhut.
Third and final change from the visitors and it sees Yuval Shabtai replace Mihaly Korhut.

Description
75'
There is finally a spark of passion out there, but unfortunately for the viewing public things are bubbling up on the touchline rather than on the pitch. Redmond and Bakhar are actually involved in a small altercation in the dugout but it is unclear what triggered the melee. Nothing much comes of it in the end.
73'
Redmond's off-night is certainly not invisible to the St Mary's faithful as the fans are growing increasingly frustrated at what they are seeing from the former Norwich. Slightly harsh on him as there has been no lack in determination and workrate, even if his final ball has been woeful.
71'
The home side continue to try and break down this fairly sturdy Be'er Sheva defence to no avail. There has been plenty of sustained possession in the final third, but most of it has been laboured without a particularly high degree of penetration. A moment of magic needed to break the deadlock.
69'
Southampton just haven't had the same threat up top since Austin was replaced by Long in the first half. The Irishman certainly has qualities, but being a predatory striker in and around the penalty area certainly isn't one, and that is exactly what the Premier League side need at the moment.
68'
Lucio Maranhão enters the game and replaces B. Sahar.
Another substitution from the Israeli side and it sees formr Chelsea centre-forward, Sahar, make way for Lucio Maranhao.
66'
We are approaching the final quarter of play now and even though things have been slightly better in the second period from the Saints, we remain at the 0-0 stalemate. Puel's men are through as it stands, but they run a real risk of going out if Be'er Sheva can nick the opener.
64'
Things just are not going right for Redmond so far tonight. The former Norwich man just lets himself down at the vital moment nearly every time, this time actually giving Be'er Sheva a cheap goal-kick after previously drifting past the retreating Bitton with ease.
62'
Superb clearance from Bitton! Tadic looks to affect the game immediately after coming on and on this occasion cuts inside on his left foot before curling a precision strike towards the bottom corner. It takes a deflection on the way through to goal, which makes it even more impressive that the Be'er Sheva defender is able to head away.
61'
S. Tzedek gets yellow.
The yellow cards are coming thick and fast now and the latest goes to Radi.
59'
D. Tadić enters the game and replaces J. Sims.
Second change from Puel as Sims comes off for the returning Dusan Tadic.
58'
The Saints faithful are eager for their players to continue here even with a Be'er Sheva player down clutching his leg. It is not a head injury so the hosts are within their rights to continue, but all the sting comes out of their attack as Bertrand fires a strike basically out of the stadium. Really poor.
56'
M. Ghadir enters the game and replaces O. Hoban.
Second change of the match now and it comes from Hapoel Be'er Sheva. Leaving the action has been the ineffectual Hoban and his replacement will be Mohammad Ghadir in what is a positive move from the head coach, Barak Bakhar.
54'
AGAIN Southampton are let down by the final ball here as Redmond initially does very well to drift past a couple of challenges before sliding a lovely pass into space. Bertrand meets it, but all his team-mates inside the box are left disappointed as the cross into the box is floated high and wide behind the goal.
52'
Bertrand stands over a free-kick down the left wing and then sends a wicked delivery deep into the centre of the box. It falls nicely for Van Dijk who attempts the snapshot on goal, but before a connection can be made Ogu steps across the big Dutchman to clear behind for a corner-kick.
50'
OH WHAT A TACKLE FROM YOSHIDA! Sahar latches on to a fortunate loose ball inside the penalty box before firing a dangerous volley aimed at the bottom corner. However, the hosts survive as the Japanese defender leaps across to make the cracking interception before Forster if forced to make a save.
48'
R. Bertrand gets yellow.
Another booking now, this time coming to a Southampton player for the first time. The guilty party is Bertrand, who is slightly unfortunate to see yellow after clipping Buzaglo.
46'
We are back under way in this Group K encounter.
45' +1
M. Vítor gets yellow.
Another booking for the visitors, this time going to Miguel Vitor.
45'
Two minutes of added time have been allocated by the referee and that certainly isn't due to any goals scored. Austin was down for a while with that unfortunate injury and the official has taken these moments into account.
44'
Van Dijk wins the ball in a great area in the middle of the park and passes wide to Davis before going on to join the attack. Sims eventually sees possession down the right wing before speculatively crossing to the back post, but the subsequent header on goal from Redmond whilst under pressure from the defender is poor and goes wide.
42'
J. Ogu gets yellow.
First booking of the match and it goes to Ogu.
41'
This game desperately needs an injection of intensity as it is making for a quite drab affair. A place in the last-32 of the Europa League is up for grabs to the winner of this match, but you wouldn't think that judging by the complete lack of tempo in the attacking play, at least in the past 15 minutes.
39'
S. Long enters the game and replaces C. Austin.
Some worrying scenes for Southampton here as it doesn't look like Austin is going to be able to continue after landing very awkwardly after jumping up for a header. He has had previous shoulder problems and it appears as if it may have popped out of the socket. Nasty stuff indeed - he'll have to go off.
Shane Long is Austin's replacement up top.
37'
SAAAAAVE FROM GORESH! Redmond is the man looking to make things happen for Southampton again as he turns sharply with his back to goal before moving into the final third. He pulls the trigger with a whipped attempt looping towards the right corner, but the Be'er Sheva keeper dives across to make the block!
35'
A small break in play at the moment as Bitton is down clutching his face after an altercation with Austin. There was indeed a slight bit of contact from the former Queens Park Rangers striker, but there wasn't any intent in the aerial battle and there certainly isn't any need for a card to be shown.
33'
Claude Puel is cutting a really frustrated figure in the dugout at the moment and is clearly unhappy with the application of his charges in the opening third of the game. Be'er Sheva appear to be there for the taking, but the Saints have lacked that bit of quality required in the final third to score.
31'
Redmond has had a bit of a hot and cold match so far as his dribbling with the ball at his feet has been terrific, but the final ball hasn't always been up to scratch. On this occasion, he breaks down a promising attack for the Saints with an attempted pass into the channel for Sims which is easily intercepted by Be'er Sheva.
29'
Bitton moves into an advanced area down the right wing, hoping to pop a pass in behind the Southampton defence for Sahar. However, the latter was just coming back from an onside position as the ball was sent and so opts not to touch it as he will be flagged as offside. The hosts collect possession.
27'
Sahar is getting some jeers from a very small section of the St Mary's faithful here and that is due to his past affiliation with Southampton's great rivals, Portsmouth. The Israel international didn't exactly set the Premier League alight in his time plying his trade in the division.
25'
Redmond leads a Southampton counterattack with a blistering run down the right flank. With just Romeu in support, he goes past one, two, three challenges before chipping into the danger area, but the cross proves to be a little too high for the Spaniard, who is unable to divert a header on target.
23'
Just beyond the midway point of the first half now and there hasn't been too much goalmouth action to speak of as of yet. Southampton, of course, don't need to score in order to qualify, but the longer they allow Be'er Sheva to stay in contention the more nervous they'll get.
21'
Bitton initially lets himself down by allowing Sims to just get ahead of him to the ball down the right wing. However, the full-back recovers well for Be'er Sheva and eventually muscles the Southampton winger off the ball with a strong tackle.
19'
A major chance for Be'er Sheva now after a sweeping counter down the left-hand side. The ball eventually falls luckily to Buzaglo at the back post, but the subsequent shot on goal goes narrowly over the crossbar, even if Forster between the sticks looked a bit worried.
17'
It has been a rather tepid opening to the match as both sides still try to feel each other out. Southampton have been the better side in terms of possession, but neither goalkeeper has been tested to a particularly high degree.
15'
Davis picks up the ball in the middle of the park and evades a couple of tackles before passing square for Hojbjerg. The former Bayern youngster takes advantage of the space awarded to him to have a crack at goal from 30 yards or so, but the referee is saved from making the stop by his defender who makes the solid block.
13'
Cedric goes down beyond Sims on the overlap and manages to hit the byline before standing a teasing cross to the back post. Austin strives to get on the end of the delivery, but is just thwarted at the last minute after a good bit of defending from Bitton, who clears with the header.
11'
Redmond opens up his stride down the left wing and looks to take on the defender before being forced back. Be'er Sheva actually put two men on the former Norwich man as they clearly have pin-pointed him as a real threat.
9'
Sims collects the ball to feet down the right wing and eats up the space available before sending a teasing cross to the back post, with Austin the target. However, the Saints are forced to settle for the corner as Goresh, unconvincingly, comes off his line to palm behind.
7'
Buzaglo presses Southampton high up the pitch in an attempt to force a mistake out of Yoshida, who is the only player featuring for the hosts tonight who isn't really a first team regular. The Japan international still has plenty of experience, though, and uses it on this occasion to win a throw-in deep in his own half.
5'
Interestingly, Be'er Sheva have deployed just three men at the back tonight with the extra player being used as an attacker. The visitors are the ones who have to score tonight as if this finishes at a 0-0 stalemate, like the previous fixture, then it is Southampton who will progress.
3'
A positive start to proceedings from the Saints here, who are looking to gain the ascendancy early on. Young Josh Sims is given a start tonight and already appears eager to drive and dribble down the right wing.
1'
We are under way at St Mary's! Will it be Southampton or Be'er Sheva to progress?
At this stage of the competition, plenty of positions have already been secured for the knockout stage win one game to spare. However, fortunately for us, the clash between Southampton and Be'er Sheva here tonight is sure to be a cracker as it is a straight shoot-out for the runners-up place in the group behind table-toppers, Sparta Prague. Both sides are currently locked on seven points, so it is winners takes all.
Good evening football fans! Welcome to LIVE coverage of the Europa League Group K encounter between Southampton and Hapoel Be'er Sheva from St Mary's.
TEAM NEWS...
Both Southampton and Be'er Sheva have benefited from an awful Internazionale outfit being present in the group this campaign. Indeed, two of the greatest results in recent memory for the respective outfits came at the expense of the Serie A giants, with Claude Puel's charges winning 2-1 in England and Be'er Sheva pulling off one of the shocks of the competition with a 2-0 victory at San Siro.
The last fixture between the two outfits featuring tonight was the first ever match between the two, and was the previous battle in this group at the end of September. On that occasion in Israel, honours remained even after the final whistle following a 0-0 stalemate.
The teams are making their way to the pitch and we are almost ready for kick-off!
Half-time at St'Marys. A routine night for Southampton is turning into a fairly frustrating affair as they are held 0-0 at the break against Hapoel Be'er Sheva. The winner of this match goes through to the next round, but the players aren't playing like it, so hopefully the next 45 will be an improvement.
Full-time at St. Mary's as Southampton are knocked OUT of the Europa League. On a night where a 0-0 draw or a win would see them qualify, the Saints didn't show enough passion or quality and eventually end their European run after a 1-1 draw against Hapoel Be'er Sheva. Not good enough from Puel and his charges. Thanks for joining us, see you next time.
