GOAL! Eder has grabbed what will surely be the winner! Ansaldi cuts inside from the left wing and does well to pick out Eder, who, with his back to goal, spins past Kadlec far too easily on the edge of the box before rifling a lovely shot into the back of the net.
The fourth official has indicated that there will be three minutes of added time.

It's all Inter at the moment as they patiently hold on to possession. They don't seem to be in any great hurry to push forward, however, which is making life easy for the sea of white shirts camped in front of them.
83'
Costa makes a good run down the left flank before showing good determination to muscle his way into the Inter penalty area, but Biabiany is just about able to keep the Sparta full-back at bay as he shields the ball out for a goal-kick.

71'
Karavaev does well to get forward deep down the right flank before latching on to a smart pass from Dockal, but as soon as he makes contact with the ball just outside of the Inter penalty area, the linesman's flag is rightly raised for offside.
69'
Perisic flies forward on a good run down the left wing before sprinting into the Sparta penalty area, but he has nobody up with him in support and ends up running the ball out of play under pressure from Mazuch.
67'
Sparta appeal for another penalty! Again, Dockal causes problems out on the right wing before sending a great cross into the box. It deflects off the ehad of Lafata and into what looks like the arm of Andreolli, but the referee ignores the pleas from the Sparta players and waves play on.
65'
Penalty saved by J. Carrizo!
SAVE! Dockal steps up and tries to slot the ball into the bottom right-hand corner of the net, but Carrizo quickly dives down low to stop the strike from putting Sparta ahead. That was a wonderful stop from the Argentine!

64'

Inter immediately push forward and tee up Eder, who then chips a deft cross into the middle of the box, but it fails to find a black and blue shirt and is easily dealt with by the Sparta back line.

54'
L. Mareček has scored a goal for Sparta Prague! Assist by B. Dočkal.
That was a great cross from Dockal, but questions have to be asked of the Inter defence. They left Marecek all alone in front of goal and failed to close him down well enough.

39'
Sparta push forward once again before winning themselves another corner over on the left wing. Eder charges through on goal and looks set to shoot from the edge of the penalty area, but Costa is there to dispossess him with a wonderful interception at the vital moment.
34'
Almost a chance for Lafata! A dangerous cross is fired towards the far post and finds Lafata after skimming off the head of Ranocchia, but the centre-back does well to recover quickly before poking the ball out for a corner just as the Sparta striker is about to shoot.
33'
Kadlec bursts through the Inter midfield on a marauding run before trying to tee up Costa over on the left wing, but his pass is slightly misplaced and fails to find the full-back, who had made a good run down the flank.

27'
After spending a few minutes firmly on the back foot, Sparta are able to push forward on a rare foray into the Inter half of the pitch. It fails to come to anything, however, as the hosts have plenty of bodies back to easily deal with the danger.
25'

23'
Éder has scored a goal for Inter Milan!
GOAL! Inter have taken the lead! A lovely cross from Miangue flies into the heart of the Sparta penalty area, where Pinamonti brings the ball down beautifully before teeing up Eder. The forward's quick shot is well saved by Koubek, but the goalkeeper can only push it back to the number 23, who then taps the ball into the back of the net from a few yards out.
22'
Biabiany cuts inside from the right wing on a good run before poking the ball into the path of Eder. The forward meets it well but is immediately clattered into from behind by a strong challenge from Marecek. It looks as if Inter are going to be awarded a free-kick but the referee doesn't agree, and he instead waves play on.
21'
Vital touch by Koubek! Palacio drifts out to the left wing and sends a dangerous cross into the middle of the Sparta penalty area, but Koubek is there to punch the ball away from Biabiany. It's quickly picked up by Eder, however, and worked over to Pinamonti, but the youngster snatches at his shot and sends it well wide of the goal.
20'
After holding on to possession for what feels like an age, Costa and Cermak eventually link up well on the edge of the box. A half-hearted Sparta attacking move comes to an end and allows Ansaldi to break away on a quick counter-attack, but he's brought crashing to the ground on the halfway line and wins a free-kick for the hosts. And we're off! Sparta get us underway, attacking from right to left.
Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Europa League group stage game between Inter and Sparta Prague at San Siro.
A second defeat against Israeli minnows Hapoel Be’er Sheva sealed Inter’s Europa League fate, sending them crashing out of the competition in embarrassing fashion. Despite leading 2-0 after just 25 minutes, the Nerazzurri suffered an almighty second-half collapse and ended up losing 3-2, leaving them bottom of Group K and unable to progress to the knockout stage for the first time in their history.
The frustrating defeat means that Inter only have pride left to play for, and with only one win so far, they will be aiming to end on a positive note with a victory here today. They have performed better since Stefano Pioli took over from former boss Frank de Boer but were nonetheless sent crashing back down to earth on Friday by Napoli, who comfortably thrashed them 3-0 at the Stadio San Paolo.
In stark contrast to Inter, it’s been a wonderful campaign for Sparta, who head into this evening’s game with their place in the knockout stage already confirmed thanks to last month’s 1-0 win against Southampton. The Czech side were beaten by the Saints in their opening clash but went on to win all of their next four games, meaning that they have already been crowned the winners of Group K.
Sparta comfortably won 3-1 in the first meeting between the two sides, with Vaclav Kadlec scoring twice in the opening 25 minutes in a game that saw Inter reduced to 10 men midway through the second half. Sparta head into tonight’s clash in impressive form with six wins from their last seven games, whilst Inter have managed to pick up just two during that same period.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
Inter substitutes: Berni, Santon, Perisic, Nagatomo, Zonta, Bakayoko, Yao.
Inter XI (3-4-3): Carrizo; Andreolli, Ranocchia, Murillo; Biabiany, Melo, Ansaldi, Miangue; Eder, Pinamonti, Palacio.
Sparta Prague XI (4-4-1-1): Koubek; Karavaev, Mazuch, Michal Kadlec, Costa; Julis, Holek, Marecek, Cermak; Dockal; Lafata.
Stefano Pioli has decided to make nine changes to the Inter side that started the defeat against Napoli, with only Andrea Ranocchia and Cristian Ansaldi retaining their places in a heavily-altered line-up that sees several fringe players feature. In the absence of Mauro Icardi, the captain’s armband has been handed to Marco Andreolli, who hasn’t featured for the Nerazzurri since March 2015.
Meanwhile, Sparta boss David Holoubek has made just one alteration to the team that featured in the win against Teplice in their last outing, with Borek Dockal returning to the team to replace Matej Pulkrab just behind David Lafata.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: INTER 1-0 SPARTA PRAGUE
It's been a relatively even open 45 minutes, but it's Inter who head into the half-time break with a one-goal lead thanks to a great piece of play from Miangue, Pinamonti and Eder. Koubek arguably should have done better to stop the striker from scoring, but the home side certainly deserved to score and are currently on course to end what has been a disappointing group stage campaign on a positive note.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half.
FULL-TIME: INTER 2-1 SPARTA PRAGUE
This season's Europa League campaign has been a disappointing one for Inter, but they will nonetheless be pleased that they were able to end it on a positive note with a win against the Group K leaders. Neither side seemed too willing to push forward, resulting in the game quickly becoming a rather tepid affair, but the Nerazzurri nonetheless did enough to pick up a morale-boosting victory.
