72'
There is no energy from Belarus, summed up by the lack of support received by Gordeychuk on a forward burst, which sees him lose possession.

Krivets makes way for Kislyak for the visitors.
67'

64'
V. Janssen has scored a goal for Netherlands!
GOAL!!!!! Janssen notches his first goal of the evening to surely secure the win for Netherlands. It's a great finish from the striker as he runs down the left inside channel before hammering the ball into the top corner with pinpoint accuracy. A super goal from the Tottenham man.
62'
Netherlands' third goal has taken the spirit out of Belarus. They were well in the game at that point, but Sivakov's second error of the match has turned the momentum.
60'
SHOT! Janssen collects on the edge of the box again and twists and turns to create space to shoot. On this occasion he fails to generate enough power on his strike to trouble Gorbunov, who saves with ease.

42'
For all the quality Netherlands have displayed in the final third, their defensive weaknesses remain. This match could well be level had Belarus been more clinical from their two openings. That will concern Blind as his side's intensity has dropped over the last 10 minutes.
40'
CHANCE! Krivets cuts open Netherlands defence with an incisive throughball to release Gordeychuk. However, the midfielder cannot reduce the deficit for his team as he lifts his strike inches past the post. Gordeychuk should have brought his side back into the game there.

33'
MISS! Maevski makes a surge into the left inside channel and has space for a strike. Instead he cuts the ball back to Kornilenko, but Van Dijk does just enough to stop it reaching the striker, although it deflects off the defender and trickles past the post.
31'
Q. Promes has scored a goal for Netherlands!
GOAL!! Promes notches his second goal of the game with a low volley from the edge of the box. Belarus failed to clear the danger from the second corner and the winger struck his effort from 18 yards, and it travelled through Maevski to beat the outstretched hand of Gorbunov.

24'
That battle continues between Janssen and Sivakov, and it results in a free-kick for the home side in a threatening position.
OFFSIDE! Van Dijk steers the ball into the net from Sneijder's free-kick, but the linesman's flag goes up for offside. The decision is incorrect on replays as the defender held his run just enough to remain in line. Belarus get a break there.
22'
CHANCE! Blind puts a dangerous cross into the box for Janssen to challenge. The striker wins the contest against Sivakov, but his header goes just wide of the post.
21'

19'
The home side are using the ball well in the final third, but do look vulnerable at the back. Attack might be the best form of defence for Blind's men this evening.
17'
Belarus almost hit back immediately by winning a free-kick in a decent area of the pitch on the left flank. Again the home side struggle with a delivery into the box, but Palitsevich cannot control his headed effort, sending it well wide of the target.
15'
Q. Promes has scored a goal for Netherlands!
GOAL!!! Promes notches his first international goal to hand Netherlands the lead. It was a well-worked move from the home side as Janssen found space in the inside right channel and teed up the winger. Belarus fail to clear the cross and Promes pounced to find the bottom corner with a low effort through a crowd of defenders.
14'
The home side have taken the pace out of the game after their intial burst. They're being more patient in the final third at the moment.
12'
Netherlands calm themselves after the near miss for the visitors by winning a free-kick inside their opponents' territory. Sneijder wastes the opening by going for goal from 35 yards, crashing his shot well over the bar.
11'
WIDE! Belarus should be ahead as Maevski latches on to a cross from the right at the back post, but his headed effort travels inches wide of the target. Netherlands were exposed at the back there.
10'
PENALTY SHOUT! Sneijder sends the ball low into the box from the resulting corner and Van Dijk twists to catch it on the half-volley. It travels toward the net, but strikes Polyakov and the Southampton man immediately appeals for a penalty. However, his claims are dismissed by the referee.
9'
Sivakov gives the ball away inside his own box and Promes tees up Janssen, but Palitsevich gets across in time to make a vital block to send the ball over the bar.
7'
SAVE! Gorbunov keeps the scores level with an impressive reaction save to deny Janssen. The Tottenham striker collected on the edge of the box and spun his man to open up space for the shot. His effort appeared to be creeping into the top corner before the Belarus keeper made the stop.
6'
A decent start from Blind's men as they have made penetration in good areas of the pitch, but are yet to test Gorbunov.
4'
CHANCES! Promes bursts past his man down the right flank and sends a low ball into the box. Janssen fails to make a clean connection at the near post and the visitors clear, but only as far as Strootman. The Roma man shoots first time with his left foot, but strikes his effort past the post.
3'
The Oranje make meaningful penetration down the right and Karsdorp sends a cross into the box, but Sneijder cannot make solid contact with his header from 12 yards.
2'
The home side begin the game by knocking the ball around at the back to build a rhythm. It will be important for Blind's men to start well this evening.
1'
Netherlands get this contest underway.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the World Cup qualifying clash between Netherlands and Belarus.
Netherlands patchy form in qualifying competitions continued in their opener against Sweden. Danny Blind's men went 1-0 down as Markus Berg found the back of the net before Wesley Sneijder's second-half equaliser rescued a point for the Oranje.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
Belarus battled away against France in their opening Group A World Cup qualifying match, earning a point from the contest. Aleksandr Khatskevich will be looking for a similar display from his team tonight to frustrate the Dutch on home soil.
Blind has made two changes to his side from their draw against Sweden. Rick Karsdorp comes into the side to replace Daryl Janmaat at full-back, while Maarten Stekelenburg outs Jeroen Zoet from between the sticks.
Khatskevich has made three changes to his team this evening from their goalless draw with France. Two have come in the attacking positions as Sergey Kornilenko leads the line, while Sergey Krivets slots in behind him. Alexei Rios replaces Timofey Kalachev on the left flank.
The players are out on the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
Blind will want to see a lot more from his team this evening to dispel any notion that they could struggle to reach the World Cup, echoing their failure to qualify for Euro 2016.
HALF-TIME: NETHERLANDS 2-0 BELARUS
Netherlands take a 2-0 lead into the break and Danny Blind will be delighted with his side's performance in the opening 31 minutes of the half. Quincy Promes notched his first two international goals to give the Oranje command of the game.
However, Belarus came very close to getting back into the contest before the break, and had they been more clinical in the final third they may have been level. As a result, there is plenty of work ahead for Blind and his team in the second half.
The players are back out for the second half, so we should be underway again shortly.
FULL-TIME: NETHERLANDS 4-1 BELARUS
Belarus will look back at this game with regret as they made mistakes at crucial moments in the match, none more so than Mikhail Sivakov's which allowed Netherlands to regain their two-goal advantage. From that point the home side were in complete control to see out the win.
Thanks for joining our commentary. Until next time, goodbye.
Netherlands put in a strong second-half performance to clinch their first win of qualifying. Danny Blind would have been concerned when Alexei Rios brought Belarus back into the match after the break, but goals from Davy Klaassen and Vincent Janssen completed the win following Quincy Promes' brace in the first half.
