TEAM NEWS: Guardiola has made just two alterations to the team which started Bayern's 0-0 draw with Bayer Leverkusen in their last outing. Thiago Alcantara and Thomas Muller both get the chance to impress from the get go this evening, as both Arturo Vidal and Kingsley Coman start amongst the substitutes.

Bayern, on the flip side, last failed to reach the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal all the way back in 1988. Pep Guardiola is looking to guide the Bavarians to the trophy they last won in 2014 in his final season in charge of the club.
HALF TIME: BOCHUM 0-1 BAYERN
Bochum showed excellent fight to keep Bayern at bay for most of the first half and even started the better going forward, creating several early chances. However, the Bavarians soon managed to find the breakthrough as their extra quality sparkled.
Both sets of players head down the tunnel for the half-time interval here at the Ruhrstadion. Bayern currently lead Bochum by one goal to nil thanks to a first-half strike from Lewandowski, but Guardiola's men could have doubled their lead from the spot seven minutes later, only for Muller to miss the penalty.
FULL TIME: BOCHUM 0-3 BAYERN
Bayern Munich booked their place in the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal with a routine 0-3 win over 10-man VfL Bochum at the Ruhrstadion. A brace from Robert Lewandowski, either side of a strike from Thiago Alcantara, done the damage on the night.
