Description
76'
The Wolfsburg supporters have been fairly silent for a short while and it's the Bayern fans echoing around the Volkswagen Arena. The majority of the home support just want the final whistle.
74'
The game is approaching the final 15 minutes now but it's not showing too much sign of slowing down. Bayern keen to extend their lead and the Wolves are after their dignity by hoping to seize on the counter.
72'
CHANCE! Caligiuri should have grabbed one back. Arnold threads the winger through on goal but Neuer makes a wonderful save down to his right, but realistically that should be 3-1.
71'
A. Vidal enters the game and replaces Xabi Alonso.
S. Jung enters the game and replaces Vieirinha.
70'
Neat footwork from Thiago on the edge of the box almost creates an opportunity for Bayern. However, the Spaniard is forced to turn back as Wolfsburg's defence stands firm.

A strong tackle from Naldo on Lewandowski prevents the striker from getting a cross into the box but awards the away side a corner in the process which almost ends in Robben heading home a fourth.
67'
A. Robben enters the game and replaces K. Coman.
66'
Bayern fans are getting their opportunity to see Robben again. Coman makes way for the flying Dutchman and it must be said the teenager has had a wonderful game.

An attacking sub from Hecking as Schurrle enters the pitch, arguably too late. Wolfsburg have a herculean task if they wish to stay in the Pokal tonight.
63'
A. Schürrle enters the game and replaces J. Draxler.

60'
Wolfsburg have managed to calm Bayern down temporarily but are still yet to offer an attacking threat. Whilst they may prevent the away side from extending their lead, it's no use if they don't score themselves!

Lewandowski wins the first corner of the match as Dante puts in a wonderful tackle to prevent the striker from having a shot on goal. A lovely pass from Coman gave the Polish international the opportunity to shoot, but his attempt is well blocked.

52'
Whilst Wolfsburg may have started brightly, normal service appears to have resumed as Bayern suffocate the home side when they're in possession and keep the ball for lengthy spells.
50'
Wonderful link-up play between Lewandowski and Alaba almost presents a chance for the Austrian. A drilled ball into the striker as he plays a one-two with the full-back would have ended up in a goal if it wasn't for Dante's interception.
48'
A brighter start to the half from Wolfsburg as Caligiuri has the Wolves' first effort on goal. The winger brings down a cross before shifting the ball onto his left to shoot, however the effort is wide of Neuer's goal.
46'
Wolfsburg get the second half underway.
44'
Half-time on the horizon here and Wolfsburg will be seeking the whistle. Hecking's side have had a very poor opening 45 minutes and have a lot to do if they wish to get something from this game.
42'
SAVE! Muller almost gets his hat-trick in identical fashion to his second. The German arrives deep from a Costa cross and fires a volley back across goal, but this time Benaglio is equal to it.
40'
CLOSE! Thiago very well could have made that four. Coman twists down Wolfsburg's right side again and crosses a drilled ball into the box which finds its way to the arriving Spaniard, however his shot is just wide of Benaglio's post.
38'
Costa skips past one challenge after a poor pass from Wolfsburg finds its way to the Brazilian. However, the winger goes for the selfless option and attempts to set-up Lewandowski but he puts too much weight on the ball.
36'
Not the first time this game Wolfsburg have been hit down the right side. Bayern are getting a lot of joy on one side of the pitch and Hecking is merely ignoring the fact.
34'
T. Müller has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by D. Alaba.
GOAL! Muller makes it 3-0 to Bayern with a wonderful finish. Coman combines with Alaba on the wing to cross a ball deep to the German international who finishes on the volley sensationally.

The current champions of the Pokal are finally starting to get a hold on the game. Bayern's tempo appears to have lessened as the Wolves try and get some momentum in this game.

26'
M. Arnold enters the game and replaces C. Träsch.
Changes for Hecking's side already as Trasch makes way for Arnold. It's a clear attacking sub from the home side as the full-back is replaced by an attacking midfielder.
24'
Vieirinha pushes forward the first chance for Wolfsburg as he whips a ball deep into the box towards Caligiuri. However, Lahm is able to rise and flick the ball away for a throw-in.
22'
Alarmingly for Wolfsburg, the home side have yet to travel into Bayern's half with the ball for a short period of time. Chasing the game from two goals down, the hosts must acquire possession if they're to get anything from the match.
20'
T. Müller has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by D. Alaba.
GOAL! Fantastic work from Coman means he's able to pace past Trasch and square a ball into the box. However, Costa's shot is blocked by Dante and Alaba plays it back to Muller, who then converts for Bayern's second of the night.
19'
K. Coman gets yellow.
Coman receives a yellow card for a poorly-timed challenge.
17'
A slight stop in play as Trasch goes down with problems on his ankle, however after receiving treatment the full-back appears to be fine to continue playing.
15'
Douglas Costa has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by T. Müller.
GOAL! Costa opens up the scoring in emphatic fashion!! The winger bursts to the left when he picks up the ball to avoid a tackle from Gustavo before unleashing a thunderbolt into the top corner from 25 yards out.
13'
Still all Bayern here, but there's a lack of goalmouth action thus far. Muller's attempt has only been the real chance for the away side, with Neuer yet to be tested by the hosts as well.
11'
Another long pass from Boateng creates problems at the back for Wolfsburg. The German international floats a ball forward to Muller who is able to battle with Dante for possession, but the Brazilian clears the play.
9'
Wolfsburg currently being out performed at home. The Wolves have a good recent record here against Bayern, so if they wish to keep that up they must get a better hold on this game shortly.
7'
A wonderful lofted ball from Boateng floats up the pitch towards Lewandowski behind the Wolfsburg defence, but despite the striker's best efforts to bring the ball down Trasch is there to sweep up.
5'
SAVE! Benaglio stops the Bavarians from taking the lead. Lewandowski has his back to goal in the six-yard box and lays off Muller, however his effort is well saved from the Swiss goalkeeper.
3'
It's Bayern who have managed to get an early hold of the game. The Bavarians are knocking the ball about confidently as the home side are having to chase possession.

Bayern get us underway!
Hello and welcome to the live text commentary between Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich. I'm Lucas Swain, and I'll be guiding you through all the action as it happens at the Volkswagen Arena.
Bayern Munich head to Wolfsburg hoping to end their poor run against the Wolves away from home. The German champions have been on the end of a defeat the last two times the sides have met at the Volkwagen Arena.
CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS
Wolfsburg are largely unchanged from the side that won 1-0 at Darmstadt last time out. The only name missing from the team that started is Max Kruse, he's been replace by Daniel Caligiuri as Julian Draxler moves into a central role.
Pep Guardiola offers the opportunity for his Spanish trio to return to the starting 11 after resting Martinez, Xabi Alonso and Thiago against Cologne on the weekend. Robben is on the bench after coming back to the side following injury just a few days ago.
Meanwhile, the hosts will be hoping to avoid the complete capitulation that occurred when Robert Lewandowski scored five against Hecking's side at the Allianz Arena just a few weeks ago.
Just five minutes until kick-off! The atmosphere is building inside the stadium, the fans are flocking to their seats and the players are in the tunnel. Not long now.
The referee blows the whistle without any added time on the half. Wolfsburg have been dismantled so far and Hecking has a lot of tactical changes to implement to avoid an early exit in the competition they won last season.
Naldo's effort is the last of tonight's action. Bayern Munich win 3-1 and eliminate the holders of the Pokal. That's all from me, I've been Lucas Swain and thanks for joining me throughout this clash between two German heavyweights.
