Deflected wide! Muller's effort nearly makes it four, but the ball is turned behind and that prompts the referee to blow for full time.

These home fans will be singing well into the night. Pep Guardiola said he expected Leverkusen to pose a real threat for the title this year, but it's hardly appeared that way if tonight is any indication. Can anyone slow Bayern as they look to cruise to another Bundesliga title?
87'
Alaba, on the other hand, has been superb for Bayern this evening. He doesn't receive a lot of recognition in this star-studded lineup, but he's as sure-footed as they come.
85'
STAT ATTACK: Bayern are unbeaten in their last 11 Bundesliga matches in August (W10, D1). They have five wins from five at home over that span, while outscoring their opponents 17-2.
83'
S. Rode enters the game and replaces Thiago Alcântara.
Hilbert has had a shocking day for Leverkusen. It's one he'd like to quickly forget. He's called for another foul, and is starting to press his luck here. A sending off before full time would be the icing on top of this garbage-flavoured cake.
81'
Bender takes issue with Costa! A bit of showboating from the Brazilian who flicks the ball over his head and that of Kramer with a back-heel. It's a nice bit of skill, but there's a time and a place for that and Bender is having absolutely none of it.
79'
Wide from Gotze! The substitute nearly has an immediate impact as he gets onto the end of Muller's cross at the near post but directs his effort just wide. He's looking for his first goal in 14 Bundesliga games, surprisingly.
78'
S. Boenisch enters the game and replaces Wendell.
M. Götze enters the game and replaces A. Robben.
77'
This has turned from a competitive match into a practice half for Bayern. It's as if they're mounting their attacks with the desire to set up specific players for goals. They're home free now, but the pressure remains relentless.
75'
Great goalkeeping! Lewandowski shows some impressive pace as he sprints behind the Leverkusen defence from inside his own half all the way into the penalty area. He could have played it across to Robben for an easy tap in, but goes for goal himself, only to be denied by Leno.
Minute
Description
73'
Dante enters the game and replaces Juan Bernat.
STAT ATTACK: Bayern are unbeaten in their last 44 matches in the first half of a Bundesliga season (W36, D8). Their last defeat before the winter break came in October 2012, against Leverkusen.
72'
R. Kruse gets yellow.
71'
Penalty goal scored by A. Robben for Bayern Munich!
ROBBEN MAKES IT THREE! The Dutchman denies Muller the chance at a hat-trick as he claims the spot kick himself. He sends Leno the wrong way, however, and Bayern are all smiles. Three goals, three points for them.
70'
Another penalty to Bayern! Costa's cross is knocked down by the arm of Hilbert, who is having himself a shocker, and the referee points straight to the spot.
69'
Bayern are playing a game of cat and mouse with Leverkusen. They're passing it around calmly in midfield, inviting the visitors to come win it back from them. But when they do press, Bayern push forward and exploit the new-found space in attack.
67'
The pace has fizzled out drastically as Bayern start to really take control of possession. Leverkusen are finding it increasingly harder to win the ball back and you can see in their body language that they are starting to become discouraged with their inability to find a way back into this game.
65'
Muller has a go from range! We have seen him hit those strikes in the past, but it's hardly a big part of his arsenal - and we see why here as he fails to direct his effort on target from 35-yards out.
63'
STAT ATTACK: Bayern have suffered just one defeat in their last 27 competitive matches against Leverkusen at the Allianz Arena (W21, D5).
61'
R. Kruse enters the game and replaces H. Çalhanoğlu.
Leverkusen make their second change as Calhanoglu, who has had a relatively quiet game from open play, is replaced by Robbie Kruse.
60'
Penalty goal scored by T. Müller for Bayern Munich!
NO MISTAKE FROM MULLER! The Bundesliga's leading scorer adds to his tally with a clinical spot kick, sneaking it in at the post to the goalkeeper's right. Leno guessed right, but there's no keeping that out.
59'
PENALTY TO BAYERN! Hilbert gets his hands into the back of Vidal and gives him a firm shove as a free kick was whipped into the area - and the referee doesn't hesitate this time in awarding the spot kick.
58'
Muller is fouled by Wendell, who is already on a yellow. The striker gets up and pleads his case for a second, but the referee remains cool and issues the left-back a firm warning. One more of those and you're off, was the sentiment there.
56'
INCHES WIDE! Leno extremely lucky there as he sprints off his line to intercept Robben's pass, but his clearance hits off Lewandowski and back towards goal, bouncing narrowly wide with the keeper only able to turn and watch.
54'
STAT ATTACK: Leverkusen are unbeaten in their last eight Bundesliga matches following a midweek Champions League game (W5, D3). They have won 1-0 in each of their last three.
52'
BACK THE OTHER WAY COME BAYERN! Costa again the creator, sprinting down the flank past Hilbert before providing a great ball into the area, but Lewandowski gets in the way of it before Bender is able to usher it safely behind.
51'
SPECTACULAR DEFENDING! Kiessling is played through on the left and forces a fine save from Neuer. The rebound comes straight back to him and he directs a marvelous effort at goal that Alaba clears off the line!
49'
I'll have to correct myself regarding the Robben appeal for a penalty. Upon further review, there was minimal contact from Tah inside the area. The Dutchman over-ran the ball a bit and saw the chance was going, so he went to ground. Great decision by the referee.
47'
WOW! Play on says the referee! Robben makes a run that the likes of Lionel Messi would be envious of, dribbling his way past herds of defenders into the area before being taken down! It looked a clear penalty, but that could be the Dutchman's reputation that persuaded the referee from giving him the decision.
46'
J. Brandt enters the game and replaces A. Mehmedi.
The second half is underway with Julian Brandt on for the visitors. Can he provide Leverkusen with a much-needed spark?
45'
No time added on as the player head into the room for the break!
44'
Safe hands from Leno! Robben rounds Wendell en route to the byline and whips a ball in towards the near post from just a few yards away, but Leno holds on safely with Lewandowski lurking.
42'
Another superb run from Costa! He's having a field day out on the left, with Hilbert unable to contain him in the slightest. Another clever touch nudges the ball beyond the right-back allowing the Brazilian into acres of space, but he can't pick out Muller with his final cross.
40'
Bayern aren't as positive in possession, looking to patiently orchestrate their attacks. Leverkusen's approach has been drastically different. They know they won't see as much of the ball and chances will be limited, so they're looking to strike with pace and test this make-shift Bayern back line.
38'
OFF THE BAR! What an absolutely incredible strike from Calhanoglu! He lines up a free kick from 40-yards out and outrageously has a go for goal. It nearly pays off though, as his venomous drive eludes Neuer and rattles off the woodwork!
36'
Leverkusen have enjoyed just shy of 40 per cent possession in this first half, which is an awful lot considering the tendency of Bayern to waver between 70 and 80 percent at home. It's an encouraging stat for Schmidt's side to take with them into the break.
34'
STAT ATTACK: Bayern won just three matches last season in the league against teams who finished in the top six (D3, L4), the worst cumulative record of all the top six clubs.
32'
Drastically better effort there from Bellarabi. Costa again uses his pace and trickery to get around Hilbert, but the Leverkusen winger gets back in support to sniff out the move. The visitors don't ideally want Bellarabi to play in his own end like that, but it will prove vital on an evening like this.
30'
SHOULD BE TWO! Bayern running riot now in Munich! More great build-up play sees Robben through on the right and he tees up Costa. The Brazilian does well to make contact as it came in at a difficult height, but his volley rattles square off the crossbar with Leno scrambling to get across!
28'
The run of Muller also has to be applauded. He didn't have much to do for a finish, but his effort to make that sprint into the area and get behind Tah was excellent. Fantastic link-up from the duo there to provide the hosts with the first-half advantage.
26'
T. Müller has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by Douglas Costa.
BAYERN JUMP OUT IN FRONT! Muller gets the goal, but it's the pace and vision of Costa on the flank that makes it all possible! The Brazillian chases down his heavy first touch, rounding Hilbert impressively before serving it up for Muller on a platter.
24'
STAT ATTACK: Arturo Vidal started his career with Bayer Leverkusen, making 117 Bundesliga appearances with the club, amassing 15 goals and 20 assists.
22'
The tempo has slowed as the foul count rises. Leverkusen are growing into the game nicely as they begin to congest the midfield third, making it more difficult for the likes of Thiago and Muller to operate.
20'
The third yellow card of this first half is issued to Leverkusen's Christoph Kramer. He's no stranger to the referee's book. Bayern take the free kick and Leverkusen clear their lines before looking to break on the counter. Thiago slides in and takes down Kiessling in an attempt to break it up, and he too will be issued a booking.
19'
Thiago Alcântara gets yellow.
18'
C. Kramer gets yellow.
Thiago does well in possession as he fends off two defenders before feeding Lewandowski. The striker does well to get into space and tries to pick out the run of Vidal into the area, but he puts too much pace behind it.
16'
Costa and Robben are seeing plenty of the ball out wide and they're finding plenty of space to exploit. Mehmedi and Bellarabi need to do better in support, though it hasn't cost them thus far as Bayern haven't been able to pick out a threatening enough ball into the box.
14'
STAT ATTACK: Bayern have scored just six goals in their last seven Bundesliga matches held on Saturday evening, while Leverkusen have conceded just once in their last six games under those same circumstances.
12'
First chance to Bayern! Great play from Thomas Muller as he makes the most of the advantage, spraying a wonderful ball out wide for Robben. The Dutchman cuts in before picking out Thiago, but the Spaniard's first-time shot curls wide of the top corner.
10'
Roger Schmidt has a little fun with Costa. The Brazilian tries to take a quick throw, but the Leverkusen coach shows he's still got a touch of class in his boots as he pulls the ball back and knocks it away. The two enjoy a quick chuckle after, as all is forgiven.
8'
Juan Bernat gets yellow.
The cautions keep coming in these opening 10 minutes. This time it's Karim Bellarabi who puts in some good work along the right, holding the ball up and forcing Juan Bernat into a foul.
6'
Wendell gets yellow.
Wendell picks up the first booking of the match, and his second of the season, as he arrives late to swipe at the feet of the Dutchman on the right. Robben has seen plenty of the ball for the hosts as they look to get him involved early and often.
5'
Robben stands over a free kick from the right, but whips in a poor delivery to the far post. Roberto Hilbert keeps the pressure on his goal, however, heading it behind for a corner with no Bayern player within five yards of him.
3'
Douglas Costa, as has been the case in his first two Bundesliga matches, gets off to a running start as he provides an early test for Jonathan Tah to win the first corner of the match. There will be plenty of responsibility on the shoulders of Leverkusen's two wing-backs this evening as they attempt to slow the likes of Arjen Robben and the Brazilian.

And we're off in Munich!
Good day, Bundesliga fans! The Allianz Arena is our venue for this evening’s tantalizing clash between German powerhouses Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen, with both looking to enter the international break on a high. I am Alex Moretto and I will be your in-game host, guiding you through the match LIVE as it happens!
Bayern Munich have enjoyed yet another impressive start to the season. They turned around an early 1-0 deficit and claimed all three points at Hoffenheim last weekend to follow up a commanding 5-0 triumph in their opener. Arturo Vidal and Douglas Costa are already playing their part and could provide the difference for Pep Guardiola’s side as they hope to improve on last season, where they added just one trophy to their illustrious cabinet.
Bayer Leverkusen are riding high upon their arrival at the Allianz Arena, following a decisive 3-0 victory over Lazio midweek that saw them book their place in the Champions League group stage. Roger Schmidt’s men were impressive from the start, forcing the issue and generating an abundance of scoring chances. Reinforcements in attack have transformed them into a dangerous team going forward, and although it hasn’t translated into an abundance of goals through their opening two league matches, they will fancy their chances of troubling Bayern’s weakened back-line this evening with Jerome Boateng suspended.
Jerome Boateng is suspended following his sending off against Hoffenheim last weekend, though Pep Guardiola has opted to stick with a back three. Xabi Alonso drops deeper to fill the vacant spot in defence, alongside Philipp Lahm in the absence of Medhi Benatia. Juan Bernat and Arturo Vidal, who faces off against his former club, provide support on the flanks behind the four-headed monster up top. Thiago Alcantara fills the deep-lying role in midfield directly in front of the back three.
Roger Schmidt has named an unchanged starting linuep from their Champions League victory over Lazio, though Admir Mehmedi will start the match on the left as opposed to partnering Stefan Kiessling up top. The German will act as the lone striker, though should have plenty of support and service from the likes of Karim Bellarabi and Hakan Calhanoglu as he looks to exploit Bayern's make-shift back line.
What an enticing match this promises to be! It's a real treat for fans so early in the season, and the Allianz Arena is booming ahead of kick-off. The teams have evenly split the last seven head-to-head meetings in the league, with identical records (W3, D1, L3). Leverkusen (nine) have scored more goals than Bayer (seven) over that span.
HALF TIME: BAYERN 1-0 LEVERKUSEN. Thomas Muller has the hosts in front at the break, but it's the play of Douglas Costa on the left that has Leverkusen sweating. The Brazilian has been exceptional going forward and the visitors don't have an answer to contain him. He's rattled the woodwork, as has Calhanoglu for Schmidt's side, but it's just the lone goal from Muller that separates the sides after 45 minutes.
BAYERN MUNICH 3-0 BAYER LEVERKUSEN. Two second half penalties conceded by Hilbert helped Die Roten add to their 1-0 lead at the break and cruise to a convincing three points over Roger Schmidt's men.
I am Alex Moretto and I would like to thank you all for joining me here today. Good bye!
