Bayern are just trying to wind down the clock in the corner now, with Muller, Gotze and Thiago trying their best to retain possession in an advanced area.
90' +3
A long throw into the box is headed away by Rafinha and Hoffenheim have a corner. Baumann comes up for it and flings himself at Rudy's delivery but he fails to connect. The visitors try to exploit the vacant goal but Kim clears a long ball up field.
90' +1
P. Ochs enters the game and replaces F. Schär.
We are going to have five minutes of added time now, and Gisdol replaces Schar with Ochs in an attacking change.
90'
R. Lewandowski has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by M. Götze.
GOOOOOAAAAAL!! LEWANDOWSKI WINS IT FOR THE 10 MEN! Douglas Costa gets to the byline yet again and fires a low ball towards the penalty spot. The striker fires a right-footed shot through Schar's legs and into the back of the net!
89'
E. Polanski gets yellow.
Polanski trips Douglas Costa as he races past him on the right, and that earns him a yellow card. Bayern look the more likely to net a late winner here.
88'
BIG, BIG SAVE FROM BAUMANN! AND THEN AGAINST THE POST! Gotze and Lewandowski exchange passes but the striker's shot is kept out by the keeper. The Polan international is denied by the Hoffenheim stopper from the resultant corner and when it is looped back to the other side of the box Muller hits the woodwork with his effort!
86'
The free kick is pumped into the box but after Volland tries to head it from the back post to the middle the defence are able to get it clear. Polanski trots back on to rejoin the action. Can they make their man advantage count?
85'
Polanski receives medical attention for a cut as a result of that challenge from Rafinha, so we should get a fair bit of time added on. He will not be able to return to the field until the free kick is taken now, though.
83'
Rafinha gets yellow.
Rafinha is the latest player to be shown a yellow card after he catches Polanski in the head with his arm. The hosts should pump this into the box and try to get the visitors defenders under some pressure.
Minute
Description
81'
GOAL! No, it's ruled out! Lewandowski's shot is blocked by the running Muller, who then fires it into the back of the net! However, he had his arm raised and that is what stopped the Poland international's effort from finding the target and as a result it is ruled out!
79'
Hoffenheim have a little over 10 minutes to try and get a goal which would see them pick up their first ever victory over Bayern in the Bundesliga. They've failed at 14 previous attempts, and with an extra man on the field they may not have had a better opportunity.
77'
Kim Jin-Su gets yellow.
Yet again the card comes out, but this time Muller is on the receiving end. He takes Kim's studs to his ankle and is sent tumbling to the deck. Alonso pings the resultant free kick into the middle but it is headed behind by Bayern's goalscorer.
75'
T. Müller gets yellow.
Now Muller goes into the book for catching the ankle of Schar in a 50-50 tackle. He protests against the referee's decision and needs to be careful that he doesn't talk himself into another yellow card!
74'
OFF THE POST! Polanski fires the free kick low to Neuer's left but it crashes straight into the upright! The rebound hits the keeper before Alaba rushes in to send it clear!
73'
PENALTY! AND A RED CARD FOR BOATENG! The free kick is blocked by the wall but the referee spots the centre-back using his arm and shows him a second yellow card as a result! Will Hoffenheim be able to make the most of the spot-kick and regain the lead?
72'
J. Boateng gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
71'
J. Boateng gets yellow.
Uth picks up the ball on the left and uses it to slide a pass into the path of Volland. The striker lets it run across him and darts ahead of Boateng, who pulls him back and is shown a yellow card as a result. The hosts have a great chance to regain the lead from the resultant free kick!
70'
Almost an instant impact from Lewandowski! The Poland international fires on goal from Gotze's set up but his effort is kept out of the bottom corner by a strong hand from Baumann! Bayern build again with Muller guiding a shot just wide from a Douglas Costa cross.
69'
M. Uth enters the game and replaces K. Kuranyi.
Gisdol responds with a substitution of his own, replacing Kuranyi with new signing Uth.
67'
R. Lewandowski enters the game and replaces P. Lahm.
Guardiola makes his final change of the afternoon, now, replacing Lahm with Lewandowski.
66'
OFF THE BAR! Vidal narrowly misses out on the first goal of his Bayern career as a lovely, curled strike from 25 yards cannons off the frame of the goal on its way behind!
65'
STAT: Bayern have had four shots on target today, while the hosts have only managed one - Volland's goal after nine seconds (via Opta).
64'
S. Rudy enters the game and replaces J. Schmid.
Schmid's disappointing outing comes to an end as he is replaced by Germany international Rudy.
63'
P. Schwegler gets yellow.
Schwegler is shown a yellow card for a late tackle on Rafinha near the halfway line. He has no complaints about the decision.
62'
Sule makes an important clearance to avoid a replica of Muller's goal from the first half. Baumann once more pushes a shot from Douglas Costa straight into the danger zone, but this time it is his own centre-back who gets to the ball first.
61'
Schmid wastes another chance to create a chance from a set-piece, this time overhitting a free kick from the right. It might be a wise decision to take the Frenchman off dead-ball duties now!
59'
Thiago Alcântara enters the game and replaces A. Robben.
Here comes the change, with Robben making way for Thiago. That could indicate a slight shape alteration from Guardiola, or a reshuffle of players with Gotze moving out wide.
57'
After a bright start to the half Hoffenheim are struggling to maintain the same level of intensity. Bayern certainly look the more dangerous of the pair and they have another substitution lined up.
55'
However, Schmid's delivery is dreadful. His out-swinging delivery sails high over the head of every player in the box and goes out for a throw in on the far side which Lahm uses to restart the play.
54'
Volland attempts to release Kuranyi on the left but the veteran striker cannot catch up to his pass. It took a deflection off a Bayern shirt, though, and the hosts have a corner to try and test Neuer from.
52'
WHAT A CHANCE! Gotze goes on a fantastic run, dribbling beyond four Hoffenheim players to get into the box. He attempts to stab a pass to Muller for a shot but he gets it wrong and the ball instead falls for Douglas Costa. The Brazilian lets it run across his body and onto his favoured left foot before slicing a shot high and wide of the target!
50'
Schar clatters through the back of Vidal 30 yards from goal and the referee has no hesitation in awarding the visitors the free kick. Alonso steps over it to allow Alaba the opportunity to atone for his error which led to the opening goal, but he fires it straight into the wall! A disappointing effort from the Austrian.
48'
The hosts earn an early corner which Schmid fires into the middle, but Lahm is there to clear it away from the near post. Hoffenheim are going to have to maintain this more active role if they are to pick up a first win against Bayern. Zuber is found at the top of the box but after turning inside he sees his shot blocked.
46'
The second half is underway!
45' +1
After one minute of added time the half-time whistle goes!
45'
Die Roten could have a second before the break! Douglas Costa again drives to the byline and fires a cross into the middle which Lahm attacks ahead of Muller. His connection fails to send the ball towards goal and instead takes it away from his team-mate, leading to the loss of the chance!
43'
The hosts are awarded a free kick on the left after Rafinha goes in from behind on Polanski. Guardiola clearly doesn't feel it warranted the decision and has some words for the referee. The official comes across to the touchline to try and get him to calm down.
41'
T. Müller has scored a goal for Bayern Munich!
GOOOOOOOAAAL!! BAYERN EQUALISE! Well, it's certainly been coming and that man Muller has the goal! Douglas Costa's shot from out wide is parried straight into the danger area by Baumann and the Germany international is on hand to tap home the rebound with his thigh!
40'
A lovely move from Bayern, but they don't reap rewards! Gotze produces a lovely dummy which enables him to drive at the defence. He plays a pass into Muller who then looks to feed Douglas Costa with a first-time pass which is cut out.
39'
Gotze launches Bayern forward with a darting run inside from the left. He offloads to Douglas Costa on the left and his attempt to find Muller is intercepted by Kim. Vidal tries to keep it alive on the left but ends up conceding a throw in.
37'
That break was initiated by Benatia going down and receiving some treatment and it's ended up bringing an end to his afternoon, with Rafinha replacing him.
36'
Rafinha enters the game and replaces M. Benatia.
We've got a shorts drink break now with the players taking on some additional fluid in the Sinsheim heat. Play gets back underway with Bayern looking to build from the back.
35'
OFF THE POST! Bayern are really upping the pressure here! Robben looks to get the better of Sule but the centre-back puts a foot in to knock the ball away. It falls kindly for Muller as he charges around the outside and his shot from an acute angle rattles the outside of the upright! Baumann hadn't even moved!
33'
GREAT SAVE! Finally Baumann is called into action and he does exactly what is required of him! Lahm clips the ball into the middle and Muller beats Kaderabek to the header. He attempts to loop it into the far corner but the keeper leaps up and parries it over the top!
31'
Robben and Lahm try to create something out on the right but the latter goes down under a challenge from Polanski. Clearly the referee didn't see anything in it, though, as he signals to die Roten's captain to get back to his feet! For all of their possession, the visitors are yet to test Baumann.
29'
Douglas Costa puts in his fifth cross of the afternoon from the left wing but he is still yet to find a team-mate in the box with any of his deliveries (via Opta). Guardiola will be expecting more as they look to work their way back into this match.
27'
The hosts are pressing men very high up the pitch. As Neuer receives the ball four players push up to limit his options to play it short. After trying to keep it on the deck he sends it long and the visitors win a free kick following the ensuing aerial challenge.
25'
Kuranyi brings a cross from the left down with his chest at the back post but Alaba reacts well to nip in and come away with the ball. The German striker's last Bundesliga goal came in Schalke’s 2-1 loss to Bayern in April 2010.
24'
Volland gets in possession near the corner flag on the left but his cutback towards the top of the box is well cut out by Lahm. The Bayern captain is having an efficient outing today.
22'
Alaba pushes up from the back, exchanging passes with Vidal before looking to play in Muller inside the box. He overhits the ball and takes a tumble under a closing tackle from Schar, though the referee is unmoved.
21'
Hoffenheim have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last 11 matches in all competitions. They'll need to try and stem the amount of ball going into Douglas Costa as he is looking particularly dangerous at the moment. His final ball is just lacking, though.
19'
Zuber leaves a foot in on Vidal out on the left and the referee awards the visitors a free kick. He then gives the Swiss a talking to and clearly signals that he won't accept any more like that. Another similar challenge and he could well find himself in the book.
17'
Vidal clips a lovely cross towards the back post from the left-hand side but Robben arrives a little too late in order to connect with a header. Volland soon gets on the ball in the centre circle but his through-ball towards Zuber is cut out by Benatia.
16'
STAT: Bayern have had a whopping 80.8 per cent of possession so far, though they still find themselves trailing. Furthermore, their passing accuracy has 88.8% (via Opta), so Alaba's giveaway at the start was certainly nothing more than a blip!
14'
Kim races up on the left wing, looking to get to the byline. Benatia comes across to cover and slides in to try and win the ball. He knocks it behind for a corner and the South Korean's claims for a free kick are ignored.
12'
Robben drifts in off the right, waiting for a space to open in which he can drive a shot. He eventually pulls the trigger from 20 yards but fails to guide it past the frame of Schar. Positive signs from the visitors since conceding, though.
10'
Muller feeds Douglas Costa in with a clever touch and the Brazilian races into the box. Sule does well to keep up with him and stop him from getting into a central area. The former Shakhtar Donetsk man still manages to get a shot off but he sends it straight at Baumann, who holds it at the near post.
9'
The official recording of the time of Volland's goal has come in at nine seconds, meaning it equal's the record for the fastest strike in Bundesliga history which was previously held by Karim Bellarabi.
7'
Douglas Costa is already looking to get heavily involved, calling for the ball on the left. He whips a great delivery in which is headed away by Sule. Alonso picks it up and gives it straight back to the Brazilian, but his second attempt is deflected out for a corner.
5'
Bayern have controlled much of the possession since the goal, though Lahm's latest ball into Robben brings the attack to a close with the Dutchman straying offside.
3'
Guardiola clearly couldn't believe what he saw there! The coach is up on the touchline ordering his side around after that calamitous start to the afternoon. Could a third straight away defeat be on the cards for the reigning champions?
1'
K. Volland has scored a goal for Hoffenheim!
We are underway!
GOOOOOOAAAAAL!!! WITH NO MORE THAN NINE SECONDS ON THE CLOCK! Bayern take the kick off and move the ball back to Alaba, but his pass to Boateng is misplaced. Neuer slips as he rushes off his line enabling Volland to get to the ball first and he slots the ball beyond him and into the back of the net! Incredible start!
Hello and welcome to this afternoon's LIVE coverage of the Bundesliga meeting between Hoffenheim and Bayern Munich at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena. The hosts are looking for their first-ever top-flight victory over the Bavarian giants, having failed in all of their previous 14 attempts. Pep Guardiola's men, meanwhile, already sit top of the table and could become the first team to win the title having held pole position from the first matchday! My name is Tom Webber and I will be guiding you through all the action.
The Sinsheim club have lost 10 and drawn four of their top-flight meetings with Bayern, and having suffered defeat in the DFB-Pokal and then their opening Bundesliga fixture last weekend they face a real task to turn things around today. Furthermore, Bayern have been victorious on their last three visits here.
Die Roten are unbeaten in their last 43 matches in the first half of the season, winning 35 and playing out eight draws - the longest run in Bundesliga history. They'll be keen to maintain that record today and consolidate their position at the summit of the table as early as possible.
HOFFENHEIM TEAM NEWS: Markus Gisdol names the same side that he picked for the 2-1 defeat at Bayer Leverkusen last weekend. Veteran striker Kevin Kuranyi partners hot prospect Kevin Volland in attack while Pirmin Schwegler anchors the midfield. Jiloan Hamad and Kai Herdling miss out through injury.
BAYERN TEAM NEWS: Guardiola, meanwhile, makes just one change from the 5-0 thumping of Hamburg, and it’s certainly an intriguing one. Robert Lewandowski is dropped to the bench with Mario Gotze taking his place in the starting line-up. Franck Ribery remains sidelined so Douglas Costa and Arjen Robben occupy the wide areas.
The statistics aren't completely in Bayern's favour today, though. The Bavarian giants have suffered defeat in their last two Bundesliga matches on the road. However, the losses in Leverkusen and Freiburg came after die Roten had been crowned as champions of the previous campaign. They'll likely have a far different mentality for this away fixture.
The teams are out on the pitch and kick off is just a matter of moments away!
HALF TIME - Hoffenheim 1-1 Bayern: The hosts took the lead after just nine seconds with Volland pouncing on a stray pass from Alaba and slotting beyond Neuer, but since then the keeper has had nothing to do. Die Roten have dominated the play and finally got their equaliser through Muller four minutes before the interval. There is plenty of work to be done from the hosts if they want to try and regain their lead here. Be sure to stay tuned for the second half!
FULL TIME - Hoffenheim 1-2 Bayern: The Sinsheim club missed the chance to beat die Roten in the top flight for the first time in their history despite taking the lead after just nine seconds. Muller equalised before the interval as the visitors controlled the match, but they were reduced to 10 men as Boateng gave away a second-half penalty. Polanski failed to convert it, though, and it proved costly as Lewandowski fired in a 90th-minute winner!
Bayern remain top of the table, while Hoffenheim sit 15th and yet to score a point. Thanks for joining me, Tom Webber, and have a great afternoon.
