Brecko is introduced for Risse, as Stoger looks to shut up shop for the remaining minutes. There are two minutes of stoppage time.
88'
Important header from Kehl! The defensive midfielder gets in ahead of Osako to head a late corner away from the near post, as Koln attempt to nick what would be a smash-and-grab three points.
86'
Schmelzer earns himself a yellow card for a cynical tackle on Osako, with Koln happy to waste time and wind down the clock. Immobile has been everywhere since coming on, as has Osako, with the Japanese substitute offering plenty of running on the break.
85'
M. Schmelzer gets yellow.
84'
Immobile tries to latch onto a speculative ball forward, but it runs straight out for a goal kick. Peszko is then hooked off for the visitors, with Svento introduced for the dying minutes. The away side aren't too long from achieving what would be an excellent result.
83'
D. Švento enters the game and replaces S. Peszko.
82'
Another save from Horn! Kampl feeds Schmelzer down the line, before the left-back forces a save from the goalkeeper at the near post! Moments later, Immobile tries to break into the box, but isn't strong enough and falls to the turf.
80'
Hummels manages to nip a Koln counter attack in the bud, playing the ball off Peszko after a good run down the right from the former Wolves winger! Only 10 minutes remain for Die Schwarzgelben to try and get their noses in front.
78'
Schmelzer tries to break down the left, but Osako tracks back well to dispossess the German left-back. Dortmund win a free kick moments later, but a flick on is easily pushed away by Horn. The Koln goalkeeper has put in a solid performance in the second half.
76'
C. Immobile enters the game and replaces P. Aubameyang.
Over from Kampl! Aubameyang challenges for a long ball into the box, which spills out to the Slovenian midfielder on the periphery of the penalty area. The former Salzburg man thrashes an awful shot high of the crossbar with Horn looking content.
Minute
Description
75'
Y. Osako enters the game and replaces Deyverson.
74'
Gundogan tries to pick out Reus with an intelligent ball that he clips into the box, but the latter is just unable to control. Stoger uses the break in play to introduce Osako into the fray and some fresh legs into the attack.
72'
Dortmund have less than 20 minutes to make their pressure tell, with their possession still not being easily translated into chances. Gundogan tries to prod forward a through ball for Reus to chase, but Risse gets across his man to shepherd the pass out for a goal kick.
71'
P. Aubameyang gets yellow.
70'
RULED OUT FOR HANDBALL! Despite seeing far less of the ball, Koln are persevering with two men up top, with Ujah and Deyverson still looking to break at any opportunity to give their defence some respite. Kampl then works his way down the left, before Aubameyang dives with his arm outstretched at the back post to prod the ball home! Luckily the referee spots his cheeky attempt and books him!
68'
Kampl scampers down the left, before feeding the overlapping run of Schmelzer, but the Dortmund left-back's attempted cross from the byline deflects off the Germany international and behind for a goal kick. Koln are continuing to stand firm at Signal Iduna Park.
66'
Blaszczykowski breaks down the right-hand side, before angling in a testing cross that finds Reus! As the German forward attempts to swivel and shoot, Maroh makes another phenomenal tackle to deny his opponent! Moments later, Reus is denied at the near post by a fantastic reaction save by Horn!
64'
Reus breaks into the Koln penalty box, but a fantastic sliding tackle from Maroh denies the former Gladbach man! Dortmund win a corner as a result, with the Slovenian getting back to his feet rather gingerly. The Germany international whips in the resulting set piece himself, but it comes to nothing.
62'
Klopp opts to introduce two substitutes for his side, with Blaszczykowski and Kampl thrown into the fray for Die Schwarzgelben. The two will add some creativity and pace to proceedings, which might open up a few gaps for Dortmund against a team who have been forced to chase for long periods.
61'
J. Błaszczykowski enters the game and replaces H. Mkhitaryan.
K. Kampl enters the game and replaces S. Kagawa.
60'
Only half an hour remains for Dortmund to make a breakthrough, with three points able to put Die Schwarzgelben on course to a return to the top half of the Bundesliga in the coming weeks. Reus leads the break yet again for the hosts, but the former Gladbach man runs into traffic and the momentum disappears.
58'
Reus tries to pick out a through ball for Aubameyang, but the pass is slightly too heavy for the Gabon international to latch on to.
56'
Koln manage to keep the ball away from the hosts for a while, but their possession is rather aimless. Fairly strong defending is leading to a hard-fought stalemate in this game, though Stoger's men are continuing to look fairly threatening on the break.
54'
A long ball from Gundogan is far too heavy for Aubameyang to chase, with Horn easily able to gobble up the loose pass from the German midfielder. Dortmund have struggled to monopolise possession as they did before half time, with chances continuing to elude Klopp's men.
52'
MISSED CHANCE FROM DEYVERSON! Reus tries to break down the left, but Maroh comes across well to deny the Germany international. The Slovenian defender has been solid this evening thus far. Ujah powerfully drives down the right, before cutting a pass to the back post which Kirch fails to clear! The former Belenenses man tries his luck after cutting back onto his stronger foot, but blasts his effort into the stands!
50'
Deyverson shoots from the left-hand side, but Kirch charges down the Brazilian's effort. Koln try to hold onto possession, but merely circulate the ball between their two central defenders and their goalkeeper. Unless they pump direct balls into their two strikers, bypassing the midfield, they're struggling to piece together any moves.
48'
Mkhitaryan will continue despite his knock for the moment, despite clashing horribly with Maroh at the tail-end of the first half. Dortmund press forward immediately from kick off, with three points clearly on their agenda.
46'
We are back underway in the second half at Signal Iduna Park, with Dortmund hoping to pick up three points which would keep them in contention for a return to the top half of the Bundesliga table. Koln, however, aren't going to make it easy for their opponents!
44'
Horn deliberates over his goal kick, possibly to try and run down the clock, given his side's performance in the last 15 minutes. Mkhitaryan signals to the bench that his knee isn't okay after his earlier clash with Mavraj, meaning that Klopp will have to make a substitution.
42'
Only a few minutes remain until the break, with Koln offering less offensively the longer this match goes on. The visitors are dropping deeper with each passing minute, with Ujah and Deyverson seeing barely any of the ball.
40'
Mkhitaryan goes down in a heap in the penalty area, as Dortmund claim a penalty, but the referee isn't interested! The Armenia international was blocked off by Mavraj and Die Schwarzgelben do appear to have a valid compliant as the Albanian defender wasn't playing the ball! Their attacking midfielder limps off for further treatment.
38'
Dortmund continue to retain possession and ask questions of the Koln defence, but the hosts aren't going anywhere quickly with the ball. There isn't a lack of urgency, but is just isn't being whizzed about actively enough to drag Koln personnel out of position.
36'
Risse cuts in from the left, before unleashing a speculative effort with his weaker foot. The German midfielder can only guide a looping attempt some way high and wide of Weidenfeller's net.
35'
Aubameyang battles to try and get across Maroh, but the former St. Etienne forward is penalised for pushing his man. This half has been one of frustration for the hosts and their fans, with the visitors thus far having any answer for everything Dortmund have thrown at them. Horn is easily able to catch a cross from Gundogan, after extensive possession from the opposition.
33'
Ujah spreads play out to Deyverson on the left-hand side, but the Brazilian is caught offside - unforgivable given the former Belenenses man had the entire Dortmund defensive line to look across. Narrowly over 10 minutes remain until the break, with Klopp's outfit trying to make their pressure tell.
31'
The opening half an hour has belonged to the home side, but Ujah and Deyverson are providing a pacey threat on the break for Stoger's men. Die Schwarzgelben are dominating possession and controlling the match, but are unable to break down the two banks of four deployed by Koln.
29'
Mkhitaryan is able to break down the right-hand side, but his pass inside to the overlapping Kirch is cut out by Maroh. Dortmund keep up the pressure, but hurried clearances from the edge of the penalty area keep Die Schwarzgelben at bay, before Koln break and force Subotic to make a cynical tackle.
27'
Aubameyang is found by a cross in from the right-hand side, but the Gabon international is only able to angle a header beyond the left-hand post! Moments later, the same man is nearly fed in behind enemy lines, but Mavraj passes back to his goalkeeper.
25'
Clear-cut chances have been few and far between in the last 10 minutes or so, with Koln struggling to lead any counter-attacking forays into the opposition's half. Aubameyang, meanwhile, has had little to no service from the first whistle in Dortmund.
23'
Mkhitaryan is set away down the right flank by Hummels, but the Germany international's pass was slightly too heavy for his teammate and runs straight out of play for goal kick. Dortmund are in control, but aren't able to make many inroads into this stout Koln defence.
21'
Mkhitaryan breaks down the right, before slipping a pass inside for Kagawa, but the Japan international returns possession to his teammate. The Armenia international's cross loops towards the back post, before Reus' attempted square pass is cleared by Olkowski.
19'
Dortmund finally manage to settle slightly, retaining possession, but Koln are happy to cede territory so long as they remain organised at the back. Reus attempts to curl in a cross from the left, but Maroh heads away composedly.
17'
Risse is released on the break by Deyverson, after Dortmund gave possession away cheaply in the centre of midfield. The left winger is unable to cause any damage however, as the Brazilian's pass was too heavy and forced his teammate far too wide. Koln win a corner regardless, which Weidenfeller punches away.
15'
Koln are still holding firm, with Dortmund's only real chances coming from set pieces thus far. Horn holds his nerve to cheekily take the ball away from Aubameyang as the Gabon international attempts to charge down his kick! That could have gone horribly wrong for the visiting goalkeeper! Meanwhile, the Yellow Wall is in great voice.
13'
Maroh concedes a corner with a great sliding tackle on Reus, which is then whipped into the box tantalisingly. Hummels and Mkhitaryan miss the delivery, before Subotic can do little else but attempt to keep the ball in play.
11'
Schmelzer dips in a cross from the left, but it is absolutely awful, with even the diminutive Peszko having to stoop to head clear. Koln break at pace as a result, but Hummels exudes calmness to intercept a pass and then keep possession moving.
9'
Kirch tries to whip in a dangerous cross from the right, which causes some pinball in the Koln penalty area! The visitors clear, however, and continue to look fairly resilient. Horn has been the least busy of the two goalkeepers, after all.
7'
Deyverson is nearly picked out by a neat ball in behind Hummels, but the Brazilian goes too early and is caught offside. This has been a bright contest thus far, with two sets of pacey attacks looking to exploit any space in behind the opposition defence.
5'
Big chance for Ujah! The physical striker bursts into the space in behind the Dortmund back four, before taking the ball around Weidenfeller! The striker's second touch is heavy, however, forcing him wide, affording Die Schwarzgelben goalkeeper the opportunity to get back to his feet and make a save at the second time of asking!
4'
Half chance for Deyverson! The Brazilian is fed through and races in behind Hummels, before attempting to lift a tame effort over Weidenfeller and into the back of the net. He fluffs his lines, with the Dortmund goalkeeper making a timely stop. Dortmund then break, with Kagawa earning a corner that Subotic heads narrowly over the crossbar.
2'
Dortmund immediately have a chance, with Reus fed in behind the back four by a pass from Mkhitaryan, before Horn makes a save to deny the Germany international from a tight angle. Koln clear their lines from the resulting corner.
1'
We are underway in the first half at Signal Iduna Park! The hosts are in their customary yellow and black, while the visitors arrive with a red strip.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of FC Koln's visit to face Borussia Dortmund, as Jurgen Klopp's men continue to try and extend their run of good form in order to revive their hopes of a positive Bundesliga finish. After performing well in the Champions League, Die Schwarzgelben have appeared to have been able to transfer their good fortune into the German top flight of late too.
I'm Simon Harrison and I will be keeping you up to date with proceedings from Signal Iduna Park, as Dortmund attempt to bounce back from a disappointing stalemate with Hamburg last time out. A 4-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt has been the only bright spark for the visitors of late, who currently sit in 12th place in the Bundesliga. This can be considered something of a Kevin Grosskreutz derby, but the Germany international doesn't make the matchday squad.
TEAM NEWS: Oliver Kirch is forced to fill in at right-back for the hosts, in the absence of orthodox full-back Lukasz Piszczek. Sokratis is among the substitutes, with Mats Hummels and Neven Subotic the chosen central defensive pairing. Sebastian Kehl provides some experience in defensive midfield, while Shinji Kagawa, Marcos Reus and Henrikh Mkhitaryan make up the attacking midfield trio. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the man to lead the line for Die Schwarzgelben.
TEAM NEWS: Timo Horn might have has work cut out this afternoon for the away side, while nine-goal man Anthony Ujah starts up top alongside winter signing Deyverson for Peter Stoger's men. Slawomir Peszko has pace and experience on the right flank, while Kevin Vogt has proven himself to be a valuable first-team player during his inaugural season with Koln.
HALF TIME! The two sides head in goalless at the interval, with several chances apiece under their belts but little else! Mkhitaryan looks to have picked up an injury for Die Schwarzgelben, but other than that Koln have been able to defend well enough to keep the hosts at bay. The visitors threatened on the break early on, but have since dropped deeper and become more negative. Be sure to return for the second-half's action in 10 minutes!
FULL TIME! The two sides fail to find a breakthrough, with Koln and Dortmund sharing the spoils at Signal Iduna Park. Horn was forced into a lot of good saves in the second half, with Die Schwarzgelben unable to break the resolve of the hosts. That's all that we have time for from the Bundesliga, I've been Simon Harrison and I hope to see you again next time.
