Last seconds of injury time here and it appears that Dortmund have finally run out of ideas. Frustration has seeped through the veins of the Schwarzgelben players in the second half, as they've started to retaliate against some of the Hamburg roughhousing.
90'
Tempers flare once again as Immobile is prevented from applying a finish, before Reus guides the ball back into the area for Hummels to send a deflected header over. From the resulting corner, Subotic leaps to meet the ball but also misses the target.
88'
Kampl has offered a decent shooting threat in the final third since coming on for the second half. However, he gets too much juice behind his latest effort, firing it well over the top.
86'
Seven yellow cards in this game, and Bender is warned for persistent fouling after tripping up Jiracek. The Dortmund midfielder has himself been the victim of some ugly challenges today.
84'
That last incident has fired the crowd up even more for the final minutes of this game. Time's really ticking away here with the scores still goalless. Do Hamburg have a shock attack in them?
83'
N. Subotić gets yellow.
R. van der Vaart gets yellow.
82'
R. van der Vaart enters the game and replaces M. Gouaida.
A roar goes up from the crowd as Subotic doesn't pull out of his charge forward and barges right into Drobny, who raced out to claim the ball. There's a brief flare up, and Van der Vaart, on the pitch only for a moment, gets booked along with the Serbian centre-back.
80'
Not a lot happening in terms of goalmouth action at the moment, which will suit Hamburg just fine. Zinnbauer has long settled for the point, with his team more focused on disrupting Dortmund than any attacking endeavour of their own.
78'
Dortmund continue to force matters in the final third but Hamburg are just about standing firm. It will be a well-earned point for the home side if it's to stay this way. For die Schwarzgelben, a huge opportunity missed. Still time for that all to change though.
76'
J. Błaszczykowski enters the game and replaces H. Mkhitaryan.
C. Immobile enters the game and replaces P. Aubameyang.
Klopp finally decides enough is enough and empties his deck. Off go Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang, and on come Immobile and Blaszczykowski, who were both so instrumental against Dresden last time out.

Description
74'
Yellow card for Cleber, who goes in high on Mkhitaryan. Hamburg have certainly dealt out the damage today and it will be some feat if they are to finish this game with 11 men.
73'
Cleber Reis gets yellow.
72'
Hamburg haven't been able to get out and run much on the counter attack, with Dortmund able to get away with committing large numbers forward. One-way traffic at the moment.
70'
Reus eventually delivers the free kick to the front post, but it's asking too much of Bender, who still attempts an ambitious diving, twisting header. Never mind scoring, that maneuver looked capable of spraining a back muscle!
68'
Diekmeier gets the booking that he's been asking for, sliding in late on Gundogan to prevent the midfielder from bursting down the left. He's another now at risk of a sending off, especially with Reus regularly attacking down that flank.
67'
D. Diekmeier gets yellow.
There's been a wonderful noise inside the Imtech Arena all game. The home fans have been roaring their team on, while the visiting supporters have set up camp in the away end behind the Hamburg goal. Not quite the Sudtribune, but still an electric atmosphere!
65'
Stieber rushes a free kick to the bottom corner that is met by a determined parry from Weidenfeller! Great play all around. Hamburg can't create anything from the resulting corner kick though.
63'
H. Mkhitaryan gets yellow.
Aubameyang plants a header wide of the post as Dortmund continue to attack Drobny's goal to no avail. Still goalless here at the Imtech Arena with under half an hour to go.
61'
Zinnbauer takes no further risks with the volatile Behrami. The combative midfielder has been pulled, and Kacar comes on in his place. A smart move, with the Swiss one slip-up away from a red card.
60'
G. Kačar enters the game and replaces V. Behrami.
59'
Reus slides a dangerous ball across the face of goal that has a little too much pace on it for Aubameyang to attack at the back post. Still, Dortmund starting to open up the HSV ranks.
58'
Gundogan shows good footwork initially, then commendable balance to draw the attention of two defenders before teeing up Kampl at the edge of the area. The half-time substitute has a crack, but it's a foot off the bottom corner.
56'
RISKY there from Behrami. Already on a yellow card, he overruns the ball in midfield and lunges into Bender in an attempt to win it back. Klopp has his head in his hands in disbelief that the challenge was not met with another booking.
54'
Dortmund have had possession virtually non-stop since the resumption of the game. Hamburg continue to put up a white-and-red wall in front of Drobny though. Zinnbauer has his troops well drilled for this game.
52'
Gundogan has shown good poise on the ball to free himself from pressure, but his distribution has been jarringly haphazard. He flubs a routine diagonal to Kirch on the right, sending the ball out of play. He holds his hand up in apology - not the first time that he's had to do that today either.
50'
Nothing comes of that set piece, but Dortmund continue to keep the pressure up to start this half. Excellent work from them, even though the final ball has been lacking on a few crucial occasions.
48'
Diekmeier gives up a potentially dangerous free kick on the left side, after Reus' reverse pass to the overlapping Schmelzer saw the Hamburg defender haul down the Dortmund full-back. He looked like he was about to be booked for that challenge for a second.
46'
K. Kampl enters the game and replaces S. Kagawa.
Here we go again.
45'
Mkhitaryan strides down the centre and opens up space for himself to shoot. He does just that from the top of the box, but drags the effort wide of the far post. That may be the last action of the half.
42'
It's Reus' turn to be upended by a Hamburg player. He gets the brunt of a Muller challenge, and the referee sees little choice but to award the player a yellow. Second booking for HSV now.
41'
N. Müller gets yellow.
40'
Kagawa works the ball to Gundogan, who tries an ambitious pass over the top of the defence for Reus to chase. However, it's too close to Drobny, who smothers without too much trouble.
38'
Dortmund continue to hunt in packs for the ball in midfield, but that has left them undermanned when Hamburg are able to evade the initial press. This game just needs a goal now.
36'
Cleber takes a huge risk twice. First, he tries to play a through pass down the line for Gouaida, but Bender intercepts it easily. The ball rebounds back to the defender, who then sprays a risky pass across the face of his defence, with Kagawa nearly nipping in to steal that one too!
34'
OFFSIDE! Muller is slid goal-side of the full-back again but curls an effort over the top of the bar as the flag is raised on the far side. Much more interesting game now with both teams trying to exploit space!
32'
Booking here for Behrami, who took a chunk out of Mkhitaryan to prevent the Armenian from orchestrating another Dortmund break against an undermanned Hamburg defence.
31'
V. Behrami gets yellow.
The match has sprung into life recently. Dortmund win the ball in a promising position on the edge of the centre circle, with Hamburg outnumbered. However, Gundogan can't pick the right pass for Reus to chase.
29'
DROBNY CALLED INTO ACTION! Aubameyang uses his pace to stay a stride or two ahead of Cleber, and once within the 18-yard line, he immediately smashes one on goal. It's right at the Hamburg keeper, but there was too much juice on that to smother! His palms must be stinging.
27'
CLOSE CALL! Dortmund break via Aubameyang, and the ball is worked wide-right to Mkhitaryan. The Armenian slides a pass into the six-yard area for Kagawa to attack, but the Japanese misses his connection! Reus then pummels a header down the throat of Drobny before a raised flag on the far side chalks off the play for good.
25'
SAVE BY WEIDENFELLER! Hamburg move the ball excellently from right to left, and Gouaida sneaks inside Kirch to latch onto Muller's pass. He drills one on goal which the keeper parries back into contention, but Hummels cleans it up!
23'
Hamburg have done really well defensively. Dortmund like to attack at a relentless pace, but the home side have been swift to crowd bodies in the box. They haven't been overwhelmed in the slightest by the speed of the visitors' offensive efforts.
21'
Gouaida comes close for the home side, lashing an effort from an angle that had Weidenfeller guessing, but sails over the bar! That's two shots on goal for HSV now in this match.
19'
The defender can at least walk off unassisted, and gives up the armband to Drobny on his way out. On comes Ronny Marcos to take his place. The versatile 21-year-old will take up the vacant spot in defence.
18'
Ronny Marcos enters the game and replaces J. Djourou.
17'
It seems that Djourou will be unable to proceed after all. Drobny notices his defender in distress and whacks the ball out of play, immediately signalling to the bench for a change.
15'
The match has rarely entered the Dortmund defensive third, which is a testament to the pressing approach of die Schwarzgelben. They're starting to force play closer and closer to the HSV goal.
13'
Djourou is back with us as the game progresses with both sides scrapping for the ball in midfield. Hamburg's half chance minutes earlier has been the best we've seen. There's not been much of a chance for either team to get out and run, but the space is there.
11'
Delay in the game as Djourou has gone down with an injury. Zinnbauer has instructed two subs to warn up just in case, but it looks like the Swiss will need only a brief spell of treatment on the touchline.
9'
Dortmund look like they'll be winning a solid amount of free kicks in the Hamburg half, so they need to start making better use of those opportunities. That last delivery from Reus was completely uninspired.
7'
Dortmund suffered a fair number of aggressive fouls against Dresden, and it seems that Hamburg have taken a leaf out of the 3. Liga side's book. Kagawa has already been upended twice in a not-quite gentle fashion.
5'
Both sides have traded spells in possession already, and it's shaping up to be an expansive game. Muller misses the target from a central position that he really should have been doing better from.
3'
Aubameyang gets his first chance to stretch his legs with a speedy run down the left. He's confronted by Djourou, who does really well to nip the ball off the Gabon international's toes.
1'
Off we go then!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Bundesliga encounter between Hamburg and Borussia Dortmund. Only four points separate the sides in the table, so this is bound to be a closely fought contest. I'm Keeghann Sinanan, your designated scribe for all the action.
Dortmund have hit form at just the right time, stringing together four straight Bundesliga wins to put the relegation zone in their rear-view mirror. The hunt is now on to clinch a European place by the end of the season, and they currently sit seven points outside the last Europa League berth. Jurgen Klopp's men have also wrapped up a spot in the last eight of the DFB-Pokal by dispatching Dynamo Dresden 2-0 midweek.
Hamburg have not fared well in recent games. Bayern Munich dealt them their annual humiliation with an 8-0 thrashing at the Allianz Arena, and HSV followed that up with a 1-1 draw at home to Borussia Monchengladbach, before falling 2-1 away to Eintracht Frankfurt. They currently sit only one place and point above the bottom three.
Hamburg have had Dortmund's number in recent seasons. Die Rothosen have won the last five meetings between the pair, including a 1-0 win over Klopp's men at Signal Iduna Park in October. Hamburg lead the overall goals tally in all Bundesliga meetings between the sides 174-167. Interestingly, that marks the most goals that both of these teams have scored against any one opponent in the top flight.
Ivica Olic has returned to lead the line for the home side, replacing Artjoms Rudnevs. Valon Behrami is also given the nod in the centre of midfield, with Gojko Kacar settling for a place on the bench. Expansive-looking 4-2-3-1 lineup from Josef Zinnbauer.
Marco Reus limped off against Dresden midweek but after initial fears of a leg break, the forward has been passed fit for this clash and starts wide-left. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang begins on his own up front, coming in for Ciro Immobile, who scored both goals midweek. Roman Weidenfeller also grabs the gloves from Mitchell Langerak.
It's goalless at the interval between Hamburg and Dortmund. It's been a closely fought match, which nevertheless began to open up in the latter stages of the half. Both sides traded efforts on goal and if that trajectory continues, we could be in for an opener not long into the second period. Stay tuned.
That will do it from the Imtech Arena, and Dortmund will have to settle for a point against Hamburg. The home side will definitely be the happier of the two, having frustrated Klopp's men for the entirety of this game. It was a feisty affair, with bookings aplenty and a couple of flare-ups between players. Dortmund miss a chance to close the gap on the European places, while Hamburg can still end the weekend inside the relegation zone.
That's all from me. Thanks for tuning in. Keeghann Sinanan here, signing off.
