If all current scorelines hold, Dortmund will move into the top half of the table - only seven points outside the European places. They're playing out the final moments as they have the entirety of this game - in complete control.
90'
But what about Dortmund? To their immense credit, they stuck to their guns, kept up their insane high press and finally, Schalke not only cracked, but collapsed. Four wins on the bounce for them in the league now and their revival is well and truly complete!
88'
Is it wrong that I'm still tempted to give Wellenreuther my personal man-of-the-match award even after that last amateur mistake? Dortmund have fired 30 shots in the direction of his goal, with 13 hitting the target. It could have been a RECORD Revierderby scoreline had the 19-year-old keeper not been in God mode for most of the game.
87'
S. Kehl enters the game and replaces N. Şahin.
86'
M. Reus has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund!
REUS IS GIFTED A THIRD! Poor Wellenreuther's sterling 75 minutes will be forgotten now as he coughs up a cheap goal. He's caught in possession by Reus after failing to release a back pass, and the forward robs him and stabs home!
83'
S. Bender enters the game and replaces İ. Gündoğan.
Gundogan departs to a standing ovation after his role in the second goal. On comes Sven Bender just to make sure that there's no late slip-ups in midfield. Party time at Signal Iduna Park now.
81'
City-bus stuff here from Dortmund, as the Great Wall of Wellenreuther finally crumbles. I was about to tell you, before Mkhitaryan so rudely interrupted me, that Aubameyang and Reus celebrated the opener by donning a Batman cape and Robin mask. The bromance is palpable.
79'
H. Mkhitaryan has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund! Assist by İ. Gündoğan.
DORTMUND HAVE ANOTHER! The home side break quickly and Aubameyang releases Gundogan down the right flank. Normally you would expect those roles to be reversed. The midfielder pulls off an inch-perfect cross, and Mkhitaryan ghosts in ahead of Uchida to convert at the back post!
78'
P. Aubameyang has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund!
P. Aubameyang gets yellow.
BREAKTHROUGH! BREAKTHROUGH! DORTMUND HAVE THE LEAD! A free kick is not headed clear fast enough, and Mkhitaryan plays it back in for Aubameyang, who guides the ball into the far side!
77'
Dortmund win a free kick near the left corner flag, given after Hoger was cautioned for upending Kagawa. Reus goes for goal from the angle, but Wellenreuther punches clear. Schalke try to break from there, but Schmelzer flattens his man with a terrible tackle, and is deservedly booked.

Description
76'
J. Błaszczykowski enters the game and replaces S. Kagawa.
M. Schmelzer gets yellow.
75'
M. Höger gets yellow.
Schalke getting a bit bold here, forcing Dortmund into some defending. However, Uchida can't find a way through on the right flank, and BVB nearly break down at the other end via Kagawa.
73'
Gundogan does well to win the ball and he nearly sneaks a ball through for Aubameyang, but a narrow interception by Nastasic prevents yet another Dortmund one-on-one! Not like Wellenreuther wouldn't have saved it anyway.
71'
Schalke suddenly remember that there's another goal on the Signal Iduna Park pitch, and force a corner down at the other end. Weidenfeller makes no mistake cleaning up the delivery though.
69'
WELLENREUTHER! I'm running out of superlatives. Mkhitaryan is denied from close range by the Schalke keeper. I mean, he's surely made some kind of sacrifice pre-match right? This is an obscenely good game from him.
67'
ANOTHER SAVE! Mkhitaryan takes a pass in the box beautifully to stay ahead of Uchida, but the angle is diminishing by the second. He has no choice but to drill it towards the near post, where Wellenreuther is waiting to deny him the opening goal!
65'
The completely invisible Boateng departs, as Barnetta comes on, hopefully to spark something in the final third. Di Matteo still thinks that his team can nick an unlikely goal here!
64'
T. Barnetta enters the game and replaces K. Boateng.
Less than half an hour remaining and Schalke are still holding Dortmund to a stalemate. This has been one of the best 0-0 games I've seen in years though - even though it's been pitifully one-sided.
62'
Aogo hauls down Reus somewhat close to goal, and the Dortmund forward is appealing furiously for more punishment than a simple free-kick. The crowd join his protests but the referee remains unmoved.
60'
Manuel Neuer shone against Koln yesterday during Bayern Munich's victory, but I'd wager that won't stand as the most impressive goalkeeping performance of the weekend. Timon Wellenreuther, the 19-year-old, has been monstrous between the posts!
58'
WELLENREUTHER PUTS UP THE WALL AGAIN! An exquisite ball forward from Sahin to Reus finds the forward a step ahead of his man and racing onto goal. He has only the keeper to beat, but Wellenreuther sticks out a godly hand to prevent the finish! Aubameyang can't profit from the follow-up under pressure from a defender.
56'
It's been a little stunted in truth from Dortmund in this half. They're kept the ball almost exclusively in the Schalke half, but the visitors are showing more organization in defence.
54'
The Sudtribune has an extra bounce in their typically raucous step for derby day. Dortmund are attacking that famous end in the second half - will that help them find whatever they need to finally bury one of these chances?
52'
Reus takes the ball on the turn excellently, and advances on the penalty area. He needs no second invitation to have a crack, but he AGAIN misses the target, with Wellenreuther looking to have it covered in any case.
50'
A corner comes in that is headed away, as Dortmund keep possession concentrated in the Schalke half. Wellenreuther hasn't been tested as yet though, which is something of a shock given the tempo of the first half.
48'
Dortmund had 57 per cent of the possession in the first half, while also letting fly with 15 shots at the Schalke goal. By contrast, the visitors had only two efforts, both off target.
46'
Here we go again!
45'
Well, just when I though that we were going to get to half time without a booking, out comes Howedes with a cruncher into the ankle of Reus. The referee does not hesitate and books the Schalke captain on his birthday. Incidentally, he was born during the 1988 leap year on February 29th.
44'
B. Höwedes gets yellow.
It's been an unbelievably clean derby so far, but Schmelzer's foul on Hoger sparks the first coming together on the far touchline. The referee pours water over those flames quickly though.
42'
Wellenreuther has to be at full stretch to get a paw on a cross, which takes it off the head of Aubameyang, who had challenged the keeper for the ball! Reus is offside from the follow-up.
40'
I'm already sensing a sucker-punch game here for Dortmund. They've been down this road before - hammering away at an opponent's goal, only to concede at the other end completely against the run of play.
38'
THE FOOTBALL GODS REFUSE TO COOPERATE WITH DORTMUND! Yet anther chance goes begging as Reus carves his way from the left flank to the top of the D, before lashing the ball about half a foot off the bottom corner!
37'
WHAT DO DORTMUND HAVE TO DO TO PUT THE BALL INTO THE NET? Their latest onslaught on the Schalke goal sees an ambitious effort from Reus take a nick off Neustadter and rebound off the crossbar! Kirch then sends a long-range attempt just shy of the post on the next play!
35'
Kagawa makes a great bursting run down the right side of the box, and for a second he looks to be in pole position to have a smack at Wellenreuther's goal. However Howedes, who has been in fine form so far, makes himself massive to block the effort!
33'
How long until we start to chastise Dortmund for their profligacy? Their poor shots-to-goals ratio in the last few seasons has hurt them on a few crucial occasions. It's a direct and some would say unavoidable consequence of their breakneck style, but Klopp knows as well as anyone that elite-level football demands ruthlessness.
31'
A flare of some sort is set off inside the Sudtribune, and the referee instructs the players to move away from the smoke. However, the game's back in action after about half a minute.
29'
CHANCES ON TOP OF CHANCES! Wellenreuther was at full stretch to tip a Reus stinger around the post, with the keeper also having a header pummeled right down his throat from the resulting corner!
27'
SCHALKE SURVIVE AGAIN! AND THAT WAS THE TIGHTEST OF ESCAPES! Reus wrestles past his man and is clear in the box. He cleverly squares for Aubameyang to finish into an empty net with Wellenreuther caught on the opposite side, but somehow, Howedes blocks it!
26'
This is only the first time in the last 10 Ruhr derbies that Schalke have been above Dortmund in the table at the start of play. Currently 10 points separate the rivals in the standings.
24'
Mkhitaryan is clipped by Hoger in the Schalke half, and Dortmund have a decent chance to whip the ball into the area. Reus does just that, but a combination of Nastasic and Neustadter at the back post keep the towering figure of Hummels at bay.
22'
Schalke will be relieved at the drop in tempo recently, with Dortmund crashing like waves relentlessly against their penalty area since the start of this game. Despite some uncertain defending, Wellenreuther has been solid in goal - though he too was lucky to escape unpunished for slipping after coming off his line.
20'
Incidentally, that was Mkhitaryan's 39th shot without a goal in the Bundesliga - a run of over 1000 minutes now without hitting the back of the net for the Armenian international. He's only scored two in all competitions for Dortmund this season.
19'
Mkhitaryan profits from a knock-down from about 25 yards, and fires away with a half-volley. Wellenreuther positions himself well at the post though and smothers that effort confidently.
17'
SCHALKE HANGING ON FOR DEAR LIFE! Hummels lofts a trademark pass out of defence, and Neustadter's uncertain header takes him out of the equation and leaves Kagawa facing Wellenreuther. The Japanese tries to feed Aubameyang at the far post for the easier finish, but it's agonizingly too heavy for the striker to attack!
15'
Mkhitaryan hooks a lovely first-time cross into the area, which falls kindly for Reus at the back post. He slashes a volley on goal, which narrowly misses the bottom corner on the opposite side!
13'
Dortmund look like they have goals in them today. We haven't even seen much from Reus yet, but with Aubameyang's pace proving to be such a handful already, the former Gladbach forward will surely be utilized to stretch the defence further at some point.
11'
SCHALKE HAVE TO COUNT THEIR BLESSINGS! Kagawa releases Aubameyang on the break, and Wellenreuther rushes off his line once again. However, the keeper loses his footing and he's lucky that Howedes is there to apply pressure on the Gabon striker, eventually blocking his shot out for a corner!
9'
Despite Dortmund's dominance, Schalke have won a few corners already, and the home side better watch out. Both S04 goals in the reverse fixture in September came via that exact avenue. In fact, only Wolfsburg have scored more goals from corners in this season's Bundesliga.
7'
Some high-tempo stuff from Dortmund since that last Aubameyang chance. Kagawa is at the heart of everything, and he looks to be relishing things at the top of the home side's midfield. Schalke have pulled Uchida and Fuchs into more defensive positions to essentially form a back five.
5'
HUGE CHANCE AND AN EVEN BIGGER SAVE! Fuchs is caught out of position, and Kagawa slips Aubameyang behind the wing-back. The Gabon international has only the keeper to beat, but Wellenreuther makes himself big to turn his finish away from goal!
3'
Both sides trade spells in possession underneath a roaring atmosphere inside Signal Iduna Park. No surprise either, it's derby day! This is shaping up to be a special match.

Here we go!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Bundesliga clash between Borussia Dortmund and Schalke. Jurgen Klopp's men have been climbing up the table recently, but they still have some way to go to get back into the Champions League places - where die Knappen currently reside. I'm Keeghann Sinanan, your guide for all the action.
This afternoon marks the 146th edition of the Revierderby, which some would argue is the the fiercest rivalry in German football. Schalke have the overall edge with 57 wins to Dortmund's 48, with the other 38 matches drawn. The last meeting in September ended with Klopp's men going down 2-1 at the Vetlins-Arena.
Dortmund have won three straight in the league to move into 12th place, but they are still 10 points outside of tonight's opponents, who occupy the fourth and final Champions League berth. Die Schwarzgelben could theoretically win the European showpiece in order to qualify for next season's edition, but a 2-1 loss to Juventus midweek in the first leg of their Round of 16 clash means that they have some work to do to make that dream a reality.
Roberto Di Matteo's men haven't won in three games in all competitions, including a 2-0 home loss to Real Madrid in their own knockout-stage tie. Die Knappen have picked up only one point from the last four on offer in the Bundesliga since defeating Borussia Monchengladbach 1-0 during the first week of February. That has seen die Fohlen overtake them for third place and automatic entry into the Champions League for 2015-16.
Shinji Kagawa returns for the home side to replace Ciro Immobile, meaning that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will lead the line. Lukasz Piszczek and Sokratis Papastathopoulos both succumbed to injury during the Juventus game and are absent, giving Oliver Kirch and Neven Subotic the recall in defence.
Klass-Jan Huntelaar is available after serving a four-match suspension, and he will partner Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting in the visitors' attack. Kevin-Prince Boateng also lines up in midfield, as Max Meyer and Tranquillo Barnetta take a back seat on the bench.
Dortmund will be kicking themselves that they're not out of sight as the referee signals for the half-time break. Die Schwarzgelben have simply peppered away at Schalke's goal, but they've been met by stern resistance from the excellent Wellenreuther and his occasionally astute defence. That's not to absolve Dortmund of the current scoreline though, since Klopp's men have let profligacy creep back into their game. It's been a thrill-a-minute though, and let's hope that the entertainment continues in the second half. Stay tuned.
The referee ends the game to a roar from the Signal Iduna Park faithful. Dortmund celebrate their fourth straight league win and continue their climb up the table. Wellenreuther looked set to personally deny them victory, but the home side kept hammering away and finally cracked the 19-year-old's resistance. Schalke can have absolutely no complaints - they were played right off the park. Their players still make the effort to applaud their traveling supporters, who were fantastic.
That's all for me, I've been Keeghann Sinanan and this one's been a blast! Until next time.
