No, as it turns out. Farfan whips in the delivery, Matip heads comfortably into Neuer's arms and the referee decides that enough is enough!
90'
Late free kick chance for Schalke as Kroos sticks a lazy leg out to pull down Huntelaar, who was going nowhere fast. Can the visitors get another consolation goal?
88'
Farfan squeezes a pass to Huntelaar, who attempts to lash in a finish from an angle so tight, even a cross would have been a stretch. He does well to get the ball into the box, but it flashes wide of the far post.
86'
Fahrmann makes another save from Mandzukic, who slashed a half volley towards goal. Were it not for the Schalke keeper, it could well have been double the current scoreline.
84'
D. Contento enters the game and replaces A. Robben.
That's Robben's last action of the night actually, and he departs to a standing ovation from the Bayern faithful. On comes Contento in his place for the final stretch of action.
83'
Here comes Robben again, looking for his fourth goal on the night. It's the traditional Robben move, attacking down the right and cutting onto his left foot before bending one into the far side, but on the finish, he gets his angles wrong and misses the top corner.
81'
An imaginative corner from the home side sees Kroos teed up straight from the set piece, and he hits a volley from the edge of the box. It might have been going wide anyway, but it takes a deflection to help it on it's way over the line.
79'
Schweinsteiger departed for Hojbjerg during that last fracas, and Keller makes another change, subbing off Draxler for Hoogland. A night that the Schalke prospect will want to forget.
78'
T. Hoogland enters the game and replaces J. Draxler.
77'
Penalty goal scored by A. Robben for Bayern Munich!
P. Højbjerg enters the game and replaces B. Schweinsteiger.
NO MISTAKE FROM ROBBEN! He slams it convincingly into the top corner as Fahrmann, despite guessing correctly, had very little chance of getting a touch on that!

Description
76'
K. Papadopoulos goes off after a red card!
Papadopoulos has to bear the cross for a terrible mistake from Boateng. The Ghanaian flicks in a lazy pass into his own box that falls into the path of Mandzukic. Papadopoulos is struggling to keep up, and slides into Mandzukic, who makes the most of it and concedes the spot kick! He gets a straight red for his trouble too.
75'
BAYERN HAVE A PENALTY AND SCHALKE HAVE A MAN SENT OFF!
74'
Fuchs goes down in the penalty area, but he was the guilty party, leaning into Mandzukic and conceding a free kick as they both collapse in a heap. Only halfhearted shouts from the visiting side for a penalty there, good call from the officials.
72'
Schalke scoring has only served to wake Bayern up in the second half. Robben is inches away from turning home a dangerous Alaba centre from the left, the ball flashing just wide of the far post instead!
71'
That was Gotze's last action of the match, as the veteran striker Pizarro comes on in his stead for the final 20 minutes. An accomplished game from the former Dortmund prodigy.
70'
C. Pizarro enters the game and replaces M. Götze.
This is the Fahrmann show! Probably his best moment of the match, the Schalke stopper pulls off a fantastic double save to deny Mandzukic and Gotze in quick succession from point blank range. He's keeping the score down at the moment!
69'
FAHRMANN WITH ANOTHER GREAT SAVE! Robben, on a hat trick, unselfishly elects to tee up Schweinsteiger at the top of the box, and the veteran midfielder's powerful drive is tipped away by the Schalke keeper!
68'
Rafinha's own goal by the way was only the sixth that Bayern have conceded at the Allianz Arena at home in the BuLi this season, and only the tenth overall in the league. Neuer has also conceded for the first time against his former club.
66'
Robben attempts to hit back for Bayern immediately. Attacking down the left flank this time, he clips in a glorious cross towards Mandzukic, but the Croatian's powerful header is parried by Fahrmann excellently!
64'
Rafinha is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
Kolasinac spreads a vertical pass down the line to Fuchs, but the substitute cannot get his run or the ball under control in time, and slashes a wild cross into a defender that nonetheless wins Schalke a corner kick.
SCHALKE HAVE ONE BACK!
The corner comes into the box, Schweinsteiger gets a slight deflection on it at the near post, and Rafinha sticks out a leg to intercept, but only succeeds in turning it into his own net!
62'
Lovely skill by Draxler to beat his man down the left with a slick dribble, and advance into the box from the byeline. He picks out Huntelaar inside the area, but the Dutchman's body shape is all wrong, and he hacks it into orbit. Good chance that for Schalke though!
60'
Bayern are not playing with the same cutthroat attitude in this second half, but it's not like they need to force the issue any longer. Plenty of tough tests to come in their quest for honours, and they should take their breaks where they can get it.
58'
Some subs warming up for Bayern down on the touchline, as Pizarro and Hojbjerg go through their paces on the sidelines. When you consider that Ribery and Muller aren't even in the match squad...it boggles the mind how much depth exists in this Bayern team.
56'
Schalke are certainly seeing more of the ball here than they did in the first half, and that will surely please Keller. Boateng attempts a rabona cross, but the move is quickly halted by an earlier foul from the Ghanaian on Gotze.
54'
Arjen Robben carves his way to the byeline, and has options in the middle to pick out. He attempts to square to Rafinha, but Kolasinac gets himself in the way of the cross.
52'
It's been an improved start to the second half from the visiting side, but I think it's mostly down to Bayern taking their foot off the gas on the back of their four goal lead. Still, a few decent forays into the opposition half from Jens Keller's men.
50'
The game has restarted after a pause, caused by Javi Martinez taking a blow to the head in an aerial duel with Kevin Prince Boateng. He gets himself patched up and back on his feet. For a second it looked nastier than it was.
49'
There was actually a decent opportunity for Schalke to punish Bayern on the counter attack. Fuchs had Dante backpedalling, and had Draxler making an unchecked run down the centre. But he plays in an unbelievably lazy cross that is cut out after a few yards of travel by Dante.
47'
A testament to how Guardiola has bettered the seemingly indomitable work of Juup Heynckes in 2012-13 - at the start of play today, Bayern are five points better off in the Bundesliga after the same number of games last season.
46'
Schalke get the second half underway.
45' +1
The referee ends this one for now!
45'
NEUER SAVES AGAIN! This time, it's a far more challenging stop for the Bayern stopper to make. Howedes attacks a loose ball in the box and strikes it towards goal. It's probably just sneaking onto the crossbar, but Neuer stretches high and tips it over acrobatically!
44'
NEUER FORCED TO SAVE! Fuchs takes charge of the set piece and bends it towards goal. It's a fairly easy effort to read, but Neuer still has to react to push it around the post.
43'
Thiago goes into the back of Boateng within sight of Neuer's goal, and concedes a dangerous free kick, getting himself booked in the process. Now then, Schalke have themselves a decent free kick chance...
42'
Thiago Alcântara gets yellow.
Dante gets a free header deep inside the area, and probably should have done better than what he did, missing the crossbar with his attempt. Two good chances from set pieces for the Brazilian centre back in this game.
41'
MANDZUKIC AGAIN! Thiago spots a fantastic run from Alaba down the left, and picks him out perfectly. The Austrian squares to Mandzukic once again, and the striker applies the finish, but for the second time in two minutes, he's denied by Fahrmann!
39'
MANDZUKIC! A splendid save from Fahrmann prevents the Croatian from making it five, as Gotze's cutback finds him in pole position to slot home, but an outstretched leg from the Schalke keeper stops the goal!
37'
Bayern have held 79 percent of possession so far in the game (via BT Sport). Looking at how play has developed on the field, and the extreme one sided nature of proceedings so far, that total actually seems a little sparse.
35'
Robben's delivery comes in and Dante collects it on the far side, whipping it towards the opposite post. Mandzukic angles to get a header on target, but Papadopoulos rises highest to head it clear.
34'
Alaba is again afforded the freedom of the Allianz Arena to slide down the left hand side, and elects to slide a diagonal pass into the run of Gotze down the same flank. Fuchs manages to clear for a corner though.
32'
Could have been another one for Bayern. A free kick about 22 yards out sees a bevy of players line up to take it. It's Robben who wins the honours though, and despite blasting the initial effort into the wall, he slashes the rebound towards goal, but it was right at Fahrmann. On a hat trick, you know.
30'
Already Schalke make a substitution to limit the damage. Goretzka is sacrificed for Fuchs in a bid to shore up a defence that has had not a single hope or prayer so far.
29'
C. Fuchs enters the game and replaces L. Goretzka.
28'
A. Robben has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by M. Götze.
ROBBEN! 4-0!
Will this ever end for Schalke? Matip is once again at fault, reading a seemingly routine ball all wrong, and allowing Robben to ghost past him down the right. Once again, the Dutchman picks his spot perfectly, and beats Fahrmann all ends up!
26'
That goal was Mandzukic's seventh in six games. And to think that Robert Lewandowski will be joining this Bayern juggernaut next season. How is Pep going to play them all?
24'
M. Mandžukić has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by D. Alaba.
RIGHT ON TARGET! MANDZUKIC SCORES THE THIRD!
What a FANTASTIC cross from Alaba down the left flank. He has space to dig out his delivery, but only had the big Croatian striker to aim for in the box. However, he picks him out with absolute precision. Mandzukic rises to meet the delivery and nods home powerfully!
23'
Not much has changed in the last few moments. Schalke continue to hang on for dear life and Bayern continue to bide their time, waiting for their moment to strike for a third time...
21'
The briefest of forays into the opposition half from Schalke sees Goretzka advance past Thiago, but the options ahead of him are not pretty. Huntelaar is stuck between Dante and Martinez, while Draxler is struggling to find space on the touchline. He soon loses the ball.
19'
Bayern continue to monopolize the ball. There's absolutely no answers at the moment for Schalke. It's impossible for them to get on the ball in any way shape or form. They can't even win a free kick for crying out loud.
17'
It's incredible how laughably easy it is for Bayern in the Bundesliga. Already, it looks like a seventh straight defeat for Schalke against the Bavarians, and another thrashing at that. The past six meetings between these sides have seen Bayern outscore Schalke by a score of 18-1.
15'
A. Robben has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by M. Mandžukić.
ROBBEN ADDS THE SECOND!
Stunning football from the Bavarian giants. The Dutchman starts a passing combination, and with Matip pushed out of position, darts into the box to latch onto a deft Mandzukic pass. He then gently lobs Fahrmann to put the home side further in front!
13'
Matip trips up Gotze and concedes another careless free kick on the right wing. Robben whips the resulting set piece into the box, and Dante is on it. The Brazilian has been in good goalscoring form recently, but cannot find the target with his header.
11'
The one way onslaught continues in front of Fahrmann's goal. A series of free kicks given away by the visitors has not helped their cause at all, preventing them from building any play of their own on the ground. The possession from Bayern is just relentless.
9'
Robben cuts onto his left peg and hooks a cross in towards the far post, that Kolasinac just about manages to meet with an outstretched leg and clear for a corner. I don't think that the visitors have been out of their own half since conceding.
7'
Robben is holding some good width on the touchline, and the ball is being spread around nicely in the opposition half. There's been some beautiful combinations from the men in red, keeping the visitors squarely on the back foot.
5'
Uninterrupted possession in the Schalke half already, and it looks to be a damage limitation exercise with barely five minutes elapsed on the clock. That goal was about the worst way that Schalke could have began this match.
3'
D. Alaba has scored a goal for Bayern Munich!
BAYERN HAVE THE LEAD INSIDE THREE MINUTES!
Unlucky blow here for Schalke, and a nightmare start! Bayern have looked in the mood since the first whistle and on a free kick, Alaba profits from a deflection off Neustadter and turns it in!
1'
Here we go!
Welcome to the Allianz Arena, and Bayern's Bundesliga clash with Schalke. I'm Keeghann Sinanan, your guide for all the action.
Thomas Muller and Xherdan Shaqiri both miss out on this one due to hamstring injuries, while the game comes too soon for Franck Ribery to recover from a thigh complaint. There's a start for Thiago Alcantara in midfield, and he will line up with Arjen Robben and Mario Gotze on either flank.
Julian Draxler made his first start since the end of 2013 against Real Madrid midweek, and the young midfielder continues his recovery from that troublesome ankle injury by starting against the club that are favourites to secure his services in the summer. He slots in just behind Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, after the Dutchman's magnificent consolation wondergoal against los Blancos.
Bayern are gunning for a dozen straight home wins this evening. The unbeaten Bavarians have not lost in the league all season, failing to take maximum points in only two of their 22 games this campaign. Quite incredible statistics, and there's more to come.
With 61 goals scored, Pep Guardiola's team lead the goals tally in the Bundesliga, but far more impressive is their defensive record. They've conceded a miserly nine goals so far, a full 17 goals less than the next best defensive teams Wolfsburg and Leverkusen. Forget taking points, just managing to put one past Manuel Neuer and Co. is now a major achievement for the rest of the league.
The signs continue to come up bloody as far as Schalke are concerned. In their past six outings against Bayern, they've neither taken a single point nor scored a single goal. What's more, in the three most recent encounters, Schalke have lost by at least four goals.
The European fortunes of both sides could not have gone any differently. Bayern have one foot in the quarter finals of the Champions League after dismantling Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates. Schalke, however, were absolutely destroyed 6-1 at the Veltins Arena by Madrid.
The only silver lining as far as form is concerned for the visitors is their unbeaten run in the Bundesliga - spanning seven games of which they've won five. It's going to be an almighty ask for them to continue that run of results here in the Allianz Arena, though.
It's been magnificent from Bayern, not just for the scoreline, but the ease in which they've achieved it. It's been a training exercise at times for them, they've simply played Schalke off the park. Could have easily been five or six up, but for now, a Robben brace and further goals from Alaba and Mandzukic have them sitting pretty. Second half is around the corner so stay tuned.
Another Munich masterclass, as Pep Guardiola and his men pull off their 15th straight Bundesliga win. At this pace, the Bavarians can wrap up the title by mid March. An Arjen Robben hat trick, and further goals from David Alaba and Mario Mandzukic did the damage for the hosts. For Schalke, just as it was against Real Madrid midweek, a consolation goal did little to hide the fact that they were completely outclassed.
