Milan push forward on one final attacking move, but they're unable to carve out another chance on goal and the referee eventually brings an end to Wien's misery.
90' +1
Despite his side being four goals ahead, Suso looks hungry to add to his tally. He cuts past Pires on the edge of the Wien box and unleashes a quick strike with his left foot, and it's one that only misses the far post by a few yards.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be two minutes of added time.
89'
Pires showcases his impressive pace as he darts down the left wing and gets himself into a good position. He then cuts inside and tries to pick out a team-mate, but his pass across the edge of the penalty area is poor and allows the Milan defence to easily deal with the danger.
88'
Suso is presented with a great oppotunity to fire in a sixth goal of the game for Milan, but he has the ball poked away from him by Serbest and Wien are just about able to hold on.
86'
P. Gluhaković enters the game and replaces A. Borković.
Borkovic won't be able to play any further part in the game, and he has to hobble off to be replaced by Petar Gluhakovic.
85'
Borkovic, who does done really since coming onto the pitch, seems to be struggling after going down off the ball in the middle of the pitch. It looks to be a problem with his hamstring, and it's one that could force him off.
83'
Wien try to find more joy down the left wing as Martschinko pushes forward on another good run forward, but he's unable to keep a lofted pass in play and loses out to Zapata deep down the flank.
81'
Martschinko is left in a pocket of space over on the left flank, allowing him to whip a curling cross into the heart of the penalty area. It's slightly underhit though, and Musacchio is easily able to get the better of Monschein with a comfortable clearance.
80'
Wien are comfortably knocking the ball around at the moment, but they're really struggling to do anything with it. Milan look well-organised in the middle and at the back, whilst the hosts are lacking creativity all over the pitch.
Minute
Description
78'
Abate initially gets the better of his marker out wide and is able to whip a cross into the penalty area. It takes a slight deflection that sends it high up into the air, and Mohammed is able to head the ball away from danger before it can drop down to Silva.
76'
A deft header from Monschein bounces into the middle of the Milan box and almost manages to pick out Prokop, who rushes towards the ball but can't quite meet it ahead of Donnarumma.
74'
David De Paula enters the game and replaces Lee Jin-Hyun.
M. Musacchio enters the game and replaces A. Romagnoli.
Wien have made their second alteration of the night, with Lee making way for David De Paula.
Meanwhile, Mateo Musacchio has come on to replace Romagnoli for the visitors.
73'
Milan patiently knock the ball around as they easily get the better of the under-pressure Wien back line. Calhanoglu eventually tries to pick out Suso with a lofted pass over to the right-hand side of the box, but it's slightly overhit by the Turkey international and the substitute can't make decent contact with the ball.
71'
Suso picks up the ball over on the right flank and quickly whips a clever, curling cross into the hosts' penalty area. Silva rushes towards the ball and does well to reach it, but he can't quite control it well enough and Wien are able to hold on.
69'
A clever, poked pass from Suso rolls into the right-hand side of the Wien box and manages to pick out Silva. The Portuguese is boxed in near to the byline but manages to get a shot away, and it's one that forces Hadzikic into making a smart save.
67'
Bonaventura is clumsily fouled over on the right wing, resulting in a free-kick for Milan. It's sent short and quickly worked up to Suso, who tries to penetrate the penalty area but can't get the better of Christoph Martschinko.
65'
Wien quickly push down the right wing as they try to carve out a rare chance on goal, and Monschein is able to win the hosts a free-kick after being fouled by Antonelli. The cross in from the set-piece is a poor one, however, and it sails behind for a goal-kick.
63'
Suso has scored a goal for AC Milan!
GOAL! What a start for Suso! The Spaniard immediately gets involved in the game as he picks up the ball midway inside the Milan half of the pitch. He then unleashes a thumping strike that deflects towards goal, where it dips just under the crossbar and beats the outstretched hand of Hadzikic.
62'
G. Bonaventura enters the game and replaces F. Kessié.
Suso enters the game and replaces N. Kalinić.
And the second is Giacomo Bonaventura, who takes the place of Kessie in the heart of midfield.
With just under half an hour left to go, Milan have decided to make a double substitution. The first player to come on is Suso, who replaces Kalinic.
61'
Lee, who has looked much brighter since the break, darts down the right flank and tries to latch onto a clever pass forward, but his run toward the corner flag is mistimed and the linesman's flag is raised as soon as he reaches the ball.
59'
The resulting free-kick is sent short and worked over to Calhanoglu on the left wing, who quickly whips a deep cross into the penalty area. It's sent slightly too deep though, and it fails to pick out a team-mate in front of goal.
58'
M. Kadiri gets yellow.
Mohammed tangles with Silva and drags the striker to the ground after losing out, leaving the referee with no choice but to show him a yellow card.
56'
André Silva has scored a goal for AC Milan! Assist by F. Kessié.
That was a clever pass into the box by Kessie, but the Wien defence should have done much better. Mohammed fell asleep momentarily and allowed Silva to dart past him and towards goal.
GOAL! Wien were just starting to cause a few problems for Milan, but the visitors have re-established their three-goal lead thanks to a hat-trick goal for Silva. The Portuguese darted into the box and latched onto a clever pass from Kessie, setting himself up to beat Hadzikic at the near post.
55'
Almost a costly mistake by Donnarumma! The goalkeeper rushes out of his box as he tries to deal with a lofted pass forward, but he completely misses the ball and allows it to fall to Pires. The Brazilian spins and then whips a hopeful cross into the middle of the penalty area, where it's well dealt with by Zapata.
54'
A dangerous cross in from Borkovic isn't fully dealt with by the Milan back line, who can only clear the danger as far as Dominik Prokop. The midfielder meets it well and tries to shoot, but he can't do so quickly enough and is eventually dispossessed.
53'
Chance for Kalinic! Silva picks up the ball just outside of the home side's penalty area and quickly tees up Kalinic with a clever through-ball. The Croatian meets it well and quickly shoots, and his thumping strike flies just over the top of the crossbar.
51'
Milan patiently knock the ball around before Kalinic tries to break into the Wien box. He's unable to do so, and he ends up losing possession before he can spin and find a team-mate.
49'
A lofted pass is fired over the top of the Wien back line and into the path of Silva. The Portuguese sprints into the right-hand side of the penalty area and then tries to find Kalinic, but he's dispossessed by Mohammed before he can do so.
47'
A. Borković has scored a goal for Austria Vienna! Assist by R. Holzhauser.
Holzhauser's cross into the penalty area was a good one, but the ball was placed way outside the quadrant. Nobody inside the stadium seemed to realise, but Milan will surely be seething once they find out.
GOAL! Wien are back in the game! A second corner for the hosts is whipped in by Holzhauser and finds Borkovic in a pocket of space. He isn't picked up at all well enough by the Milan back line, allowing the substitute to easily head in from close range.
46'
We're underway once again!
Wien quickly push forward on an attacking down the left flank and win themselves an early corner. The set-piece initially fails to result in a chance on goal before Lee powers into the box and shoots, but the South Korean can't get the better of Donnarumma at the near post.
45' +1
Milan are able to take their foot off the pedal slightly as they allow Wien to knock the ball around inside their own half of the pitch. The home side are unable to do much with the possession, as a lofted pass forward is easily dealt with by Bonucci just as the first half comes to an end.
45'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be just one minute of added time.
43'
Space opens up for Monschein over on the left flank, and he quickly breaks forward as he tries to hit Milan on a counter-attack. He's unable to get the better of Abate, however, as the defender cynically fouls the forward and somehow manages to avoid being shown a yellow card.
42'
A. Borković enters the game and replaces H. Westermann.
Westermann won't be able to play any further part in the game, and he's been replaced by Alexandar Borkovic.
40'
Westermann hobbles off the pitch and the game gets underway once again, with Wien having to play on with 10 men for the time being. A lofted pass is quickly fired up to Monschein, who runs forward but is rightly flagged offside as soon as he reaches the ball with his chest.
39'
Ouch! Abate tries to dispossess Westermann as the defender attempts to break away, and he ends up accidentally landing on the centre-back's ankle. The German immediately screams out in pain, and it looks as if his game may be over.
37'
F. Kessié gets yellow.
The referee's yellow card is out for the first time, and it's Kessie who has received the booking after catching Serbest with a late challenge as they battled for the ball out wide.
36'
A lofted cross-field pass manages to pick out Antonelli just outside of the Wien box. He meets the ball well and then tries to nod it into the penalty area, but he puts slightly too much power behind his header and can only find the hands of Hadzikic.
34'
Calhanoglu almost makes it 4-0! The Turkey international is cynically blocked off by Jin-Hyun Lee, presenting Milan with an excellent opportunity to shoot from a free-kick 25 yards away from goal. Calhanoglu steps up and does just that, but his curling effort swerves just wide of the near post.
32'
Abate darts into the right-hand side of the Wien box and manages to latch on a long ball forward. He then tries to cut a pass back to Silva in the heart of the penalty area, but it's just about dealt with by Heiko Westermann.
30'
Pires flies down the right flank and tries to cross, but he's unable to get the better of Alessio Romagnoli and has to settle for a throw-in near to the corner flag. It's sent short and worked over to Tarkan Serbest, who tries to penetrate the penalty area but is easily held off by Bonucci.
28'
Luca Antonelli cuts inside from the left flank and is quickly fouled, resulting in a free-kick for Milan in a promising position out wide. Calhanoglu steps up and curls a cross over to the far post, but it's overhit and sails behind for a goal-kick.
26'
Kalinic launches a wonderful lofted pass over to the left flank and picks out Calhanoglu in a pocket of space, but Wien are finally able to close down and deal with the midfielder, who can't find a way through on goal.
24'
Monschein darts into the Milan penalty area as he tries to latch onto a chipped pass forward, but he's unable to do so quickly enough and Donnarumma can easily deal with the danger with a comfortable take.
22'
Felipe Pires has looked the liveliest of Wien's attacking players, but, so far, Milan have done well to deal with him. He breaks down the left flank and manages to pick out a pocket of space for himself, but Ignazio Abate is there to win the ball back for the visitors.
20'
André Silva has scored a goal for AC Milan! Assist by H. Çalhanoğlu.
GOAL! Milan are running riot! Wien lose the ball cheaply and are once again hit by an excellent counter-attack. Calhanoglu breaks forward and launches a lovely lofted pass over the top of the hosts' back line and towards Silva, who sprints into the box and beats Hadzikic once again.
One goal and two assists for Calhanoglu already. The midfielder certainly is impressing, and Wien are going to have to figure out a way of dealing with him if they're to avoid this turning into a cricket score.
18'
The resulting corner also causes problems for Milan after Donnarumma is caught napping off his line, but Lucas Biglia is just about able to nod the ball over the top of the crossbar to clear the danger.
17'
They almost can! Holzhauser's low curling cross is a good one and finds Monschein, who deftly flicks the ball towards the near post but loses out to a vital one-handed save by Donnarumma.
16'
Holzhauser launches a lofted pass deep down the right flank and into the path of Christoph Monschein, who goes down under a challenge from Leonardo Bonucci and wins a free-kick for Wien in a dangerous position out wide. Can they make it count?
14'
Franck Kessie darts down the right flank and easily manages to get the better of Holzhauser. He then cuts inside and heads along the byline, but he ends up running the ball out of play before he can chip a cross over to Silva.
12'
Silva drops deep and manages to win the ball back from the home side in a really promising area of the pitch. He then tries to pick out Kalinic with a clever through-ball, but this time Mohammed is just about able to deal with it.
10'
André Silva has scored a goal for AC Milan! Assist by H. Çalhanoğlu.
Calhanoglu has been given a free role this evening, and he seems to be thoroughly enjoying himself. Wien are really struggling to deal with him, as his movement is causing them all sorts of problems.
GOAL! It's another for Milan! Once again, Mohammed's defending isn't great and allows Calhanoglu to get the better of him once again. This time the Turkey international pokes the ball over to Silva, who rushes into the penalty area and easily beats Hadzikic with a clever side-footed finish.
9'
Wien immediately push forward from the restart as they try to quickly get back into the game, but Florian Klein's cross in from the right flank is poorly hit and sails straight into the hands of Gianluigi Donnarumma in the middle of the box.
7'
H. Çalhanoğlu has scored a goal for AC Milan! Assist by N. Kalinić.
Kalinic initially looked as if he'd missed a great opportunity to set up Andre Silva to his right, but it proved to be the right decision from the Croatian, who instead spun and picked out Calhanoglu once again.
GOAL! Milan have taken an early lead! Abdul Mohammed cheaply loses the ball in a dangerous position, allowing Calanoglu to burst forward on a quick counter-attack. He plays a one-two with Nikola Kalinic on the edge of the penalty area and then shoots, and his rocket of a strike leaves Hadzikic with no chance as it flies straight into the top right-hand corner of the net.
5'
After managing to bring an end to another determined Milan attacking move, Wien push forward on their first attack of the evening. They move the ball around nicely before Raphael Holzhauser shoots from 25 yards out, but his effort from distance ends up bouncing just wide of the far post.
3'
Early chance for Hakan Calhanoglu! Milan embark on a determined start as they put the hosts under plenty of pressure. A looping cross is fired into the penalty area and picks out Calhanoglu, who shoots from the far post but has his low strike tipped behind for a corner by an excellent save from Osman Hadzikic.

We're off! Wien get us underway, attacking from right to left.
Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Europa League group stage game between Austria Wien and AC Milan at the Ernst Happel Stadium.
After suffering a string of disappointing seasons in which they frustrated and underwhelmed in equal measure, Milan are finally back in Europe once again after managing to achieve their highest Serie A finish since 2013. It marks the first time in four years that the Rossoneri have featured on the European stage, but the first time in almost a decade that they’ve had to settle for Europe’s second-highest competition.
It’s no secret that the new Milan owners are desperate to reach the Champions League once again, and they thoroughly splashed the cash over the summer in an attempt to make that dream a reality. Well over £150m was spent on bringing in the likes of Leonardo Bonucci, Hakan Calhanoglu and Andre Silva, and all are set to start today as the Italian club aim to celebrate their European return with a victory.
Milan weren’t at their best against Lazio on the weekend, with defensive frailties causing them problems in a 4-1 defeat at the Stadio Olimpico. Despite showcasing a few worrying issues in their last outing, they should have enough talent in their ranks to see off today's opponents, who currently sit in fourth place in the Austrian Bundesliga after seven games.
Both sides had to come through the qualifying rounds to reach the group stage, and whilst Milan enjoyed an incredibly comfortable time, Wien struggled somewhat against two spirited minnows. They narrowly managed to get the better of AEL thanks to a nervy second-leg victory in Larnaca before triumphing against Croatian side Osijek thanks to the away goals rule. This is the second time in as many seasons the Austrian club have qualified for the group stage, but not since 2005 have they managed to reach the knockout rounds.
There’s just under 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
Milan XI (3-5-2): Donnarumma; Zapata, Bonucci, Romagnoli; Abate, Kessie, Biglia, Calhanoglu, Antonelli; Silva, Kalinic.
Austria Wien substitutes: Gluhakovic, Tajouri, Friesenbichler, De Paula, Borkovic, Salamon, Pentz.
Austria Wien XI (4-3-3): Hadzikic; Klein, Mohammed, Westermann, Martschinko; Holzhauser, Serbest, Prokop; Pires, Monschein, Lee.
Milan substitutes: Storari, Calabria, Musacchio, Montolivo, Bonaventura, Suso, Cutrone.
Thorsten Fink has decided to make two changes to the Wien side that started the 2-2 draw with Wolfsberger on the weekend, with Tarkan Serbest and Christoph Monschein coming into the starting line-up to replace Ismael Tajouri and Kevin Friesenbichler.
Meanwhile, Milan boss Vincenzo Montella has made seven alterations to the team that featured in their last outing, with Davide Calabria, Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez, Riccardo Montolivo, Suso, Patrick Cutrone and Fabio Borini making way for Cristian Zapata, Alessio Romagnoli, Ignazio Abate, Hakan Calhanoglu, Luca Antonelli, Andre Silva and Nikola Kalinic, respectively.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: AUSTRIA WIEN 0-3 MILAN
So far, so good for Milan, who are cruising to an opening group stage victory thanks to what is proving to be a very comfortable game. The Rossoneri ran riot during an excellent opening 20-minute period in which Wien struggled to get anywhere near them, with Calhanoglu pulling the strings in his free role behind Kalinic and Silva. Since then it's been one-way traffic, with the home side really struggling to carve out any chances on goal.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
FULL-TIME: AUSTRIA WIEN 1-5 MILAN
That victory was a statement of intent from Milan, who comfortably battered their opponents on what was an easy European away night. In truth, the game was as good as over by the 20th minute, as the Wien defence just couldn't deal with their visitors' thrilling front line. Calhanoglu and Silva both ran riot, and they formed a deadly partnership that never looked like being stopped.
The comprehensive win has sent Milan straight to the top of their group, with AEK Athens, who beat Rijeka 2-1, sitting equal on points with them. The Rossoneri's next Europa League outing sees them take on Rijeka, but first they'll be hoping to pick up a Serie A victory against Udinese on the weekend.
