90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be two minutes of added time.
88'
Lacazette is almost presented with another chance to inflict more misery on Paraguay after good play by Digne over on the left-hand side of the penalty area, but the full-back's pass is sent slightly behind the striker, who can't get it under control as a result.
86'
A bit of space opens up for Lacazette just outside of the Paraguay box after the visitors are caught on the break once again, but he's unable to control the ball well enough, resulting in his shot from 20 yards out being deflected away from goal by one of the retreating defenders.
84'
There's a brief break in play as Aguilar receives medical treatment after going down off the ball, but it looks as if he's going to be able to continue after limping off the pitch and towards the dugout for further inspection.
82'
Thauvin and Matuidi play a clever one-two between themselves over on the left-hand side of the Paraguay penalty area before the latter pokes a deft pass across the face of goal, but it's just about dealt with by the visitors before it can roll into the feet of a blue shirt.
80'
F. Thauvin enters the game and replaces A. Griezmann.
Griezmann receives a rousing round of applause from the home fans as he's replaced by Thauvin for the final 10 minutes.
79'
Somewhat understandably, Paraguay seem to have given up any hope of finding the back of the net this evening. Diaz powers forward and then decides to shoot from 40 yards out, but, unsurprisingly, his audacious effort flies well wide of its intended target.
77'
R. Franco enters the game and replaces Ó. Romero.
A. Griezmann has scored a goal for France!
Richard Franco has come on to replace Romero for Paraguay. The latter was arguably the visitors' best player tonight.
GOAL! And now Griezmann has joined in with the fun! A mix-up inside the Paraguay penalty area allows the ball to fall to Griezmann, who then smashes it into the back of the net from a few yards out to finally get his name on the scoresheet.
76'
M. Sissoko has scored a goal for France! Assist by A. Lacazette.
GOAL! Paraguay's disjointed back line are caught all at sea, allowing France to break forward once again. This time it's Lacazette who sprints into the penalty area before squaring the ball to Sissoko, who calmly slots it into the back of the net from close range.
Lacazette selflessly set up Sissoko when he could have shot himself, but, once again, Paraguay didn't do enough to close down the space available to France's in-form front line.
Minute
Description
75'
Lacazette goes close to make it 4-0! Griezmann skips into the left-hand side of the Paraguay box and evades a sliding tackle before setting up Lacazette, but, under pressure from two defenders, the striker can't guide his first-time shot towards goal.
73'
A. Lacazette enters the game and replaces O. Giroud.
Alexandre Lacazette comes on to replace Giroud, who is showered with praise from the fans as he makes way.
71'
Sissoko, who hasn't made much of an impact since replacing Dembele over on the right, is finally able to penetrate the penalty area after embarking on a good run, but he can't pick out a team-mate and Paraguay are able to hold on.
69'
O. Giroud has scored a goal for France! Assist by L. Digne.
GOAL! Giroud wraps up his hat-trick! Lovely play by Griezmann and Lemar sets up Digne just seconds after the substitute enters the pitch. He screams down the left wing and then curls a beautiful cross into the middle of the box, where he beats his marker to the ball before knocking it under Silva and into the back of the net.
Digne's cross into the Paraguay penalty area was perfectly placed, but Griezmann, who has had a slightly tough evening, deserves immense credit for his lovely flick in the build-up, with Lemar also doing well to pick out Digne with a clever pass down the wing.
67'
L. Digne enters the game and replaces B. Mendy.
Mendy, who has arguably been one of France's best performers this evening, receives a rousing round of applause from the home fans as he's replaced by Lucas Digne.
65'
Sidibe is left in a pocket of space just outside of the Paraguay penalty area over on the right flank and swings a bouncing cross towards the near post, where it's thumped out for a corner before it can pick out a blue shirt in front of goal.
63'
C. Paredes enters the game and replaces V. Ayala.
Paraguay have made another alteration, with Ayala making way for Cristhian Paredes.
62'
Another massive opportunity for Griezmann! A Paraguay attacking move comes to a disappointing end, allowing France to hit them on a quick counter-attack. Lemar flies down the left wing and then pokes the ball up to Griezmann, who storms into the box before chipping a deft shot past both Silva and the near post.
60'
As was the case towards the end of the first half, Paraguay are seeing more of the ball thanks to a more restrained approach from France but are struggling to do much with it. The home side have defended comfortably, forcing their opponents into firing hopeful passes forward that rarely find their targets.
58'
J. Benítez enters the game and replaces F. Santander.
Paraguay have made a substitution up front, with Jorge Benitez coming on to take the place of Santander.
56'
Romero is tripped over by two France defenders as he skips towards the penalty area, and he's able to win his side a free-kick in a very dangerous position 30 yards away from goal. Victor Ayala steps up and shoots, but there's slightly too much power behind his effort and it loops several yards over the top of the crossbar.
54'
Huge chance for Griezmann! Lemar and Mendy link up wonderfully well deep down the left flank before the latter cuts a dangerous pass across the face of goal. It rolls behind Giroud but finds Griezmann, who is unable to adjust his feet quickly enough and can't make decent contact with the ball.
52'
Kante pulls off a brilliant interception in the middle of the pitch before teeing up Sissoko to curl a cross into the penalty area and towards Giroud, but the striker is unable to get the better of Gomez and loses out to the centre-back near to the penalty spot.
50'
More good play by Mendy out wide allows him to swing a cross in from the left after easily skipping past two defenders, but, once again, he's slightly off balance as he makes contact with the ball and sends it behind before picking out a team-mate.
48'
Mendy is quickly presented with a chance to fire a cross into the Paraguay penalty area after steaming down the left flank, but his mistimes his pass slightly and can only send it sailing out of play for a goal-kick.

France have decided to make three substitutions during the half-time break. The first player to come on is Moussa Sissoko, who takes the place of Dembele.
Meanwhile, Paraguay have also made three changes. The first player to make way is Iturbe, who is replaced by Ivan Ramirez.
The second is Patino, who is replaced by Miguel Samudio.
The second is Thomas Lemar, who replaces Payet.
And the third is N'Golo Kante, with Pogba making way.
And the third is Benitez, with Sergio Diaz coming on to take his place out wide.
We're underway once again!
45'
After dealing with the danger, Paraguay attempt to push forward on an attack of their own, but they're unable to do so quickly enough and the referee brings an end to the first 45 minutes as soon as they enter the France half of the pitch.
44'
Vital interception by Gomez! Sloppy play by Paraguay hands the ball to Dembele, who immediately flies forward on a great counter-attack. He sprints down the right flank and cuts inside before trying to pick out Giroud with a low cross, but Gomez sticks out a foot to beat the striker to the ball.
42'
France win themselves a corner over on the left flank after more good play out wide. The cross into the penalty area isn't at all dealt with by Paraguay and finds Giroud completely unmarked in front of goal, but the striker is slightly offside and the linesman's flag is raised as soon as he spins and shoots wide from close range.
40'
Almost an own-goal by Paraguay! Another attempted attack from the visitors comes to nothing, and France counter quickly. Pogba can't latch on to a pass from Griezmann under pressure from Gomez but the ball bounces out to Dembele, whose thumping low cross deflects off a red and white shirt and into the hands of Silva.
38'
Unable to find a way through the sea of blue camped in front of him, Patino eventually unleashes an audacious effort from 30 yards out. He's unable to hit the target, however, allowing Hugo Lloris to watch the ball bounce wide of the far post.
36'
A lengthy series of possession for Paraguay almost results in a chance for Alonso to swing a cross in from the left flank, but he can't get the better of Sidibe out wide and loses out to a good interception from the Monaco full-back.
34'
After a comfortable opening half an hour for the home side, Paraguay are starting to see slightly more of the ball. France seem content to sit back and allow their visitors time in possession, as they're leaving pockets of space available that they can quickly counter into.
32'
More good play by Mendy out wide almost results in a chance on goal for France, but, once again, Romero does well to get back and defend against the defender before forcing him into bundling him over from behind.
30'
Mendy twists and turns deep down the left flank as he tries to swing a cross into the Paraguay box, but he can't get the better of Romero and has to settle for a corner. It's fired in by Payet and causes problems for Silva, but the goalkeeper is nonetheless just about able to get a fist on the ball.
28'
Romero is tripped over by Matuidi over on the right wing, presenting Paraguay with a chance to fire a cross into the France penalty area. They're unable to do so, however, as the ball into the box is poorly hit and easily dealt with.
26'
More dangerous play by the Paraguay back line looks as if it's going to result in a chance on goal for Griezmann, but just as the forward is about to penetrate the penalty area, he's beaten to the ball by an outstretched leg from Gustavo Gomez.
25'
A moment of good play by Paraguay looks as if it's going to result in a chance on goal for them, but Junior Alonso's cross in from the left flank is poor and fails to beat the first man. Dembele then breaks away on a great run forward, but he's cynically fouled by Juan Iturbe and has to settle for a free-kick.
23'
Sloppy play by Paraguay allows Mendy to charge down the left wing on a marauding run. He manages to get himself into a great position and then swings a cross into the box, but it's completely overhit and sails out of play for a throw-in.
21'
Free header for Pogba! Griezmann is bundled over by Juan Patino as he darts towards the Paraguay penalty area, resulting in a free-kick for France in a promising position out wide. Payet steps up and curls a beautiful cross right on to the head of Pogba, but the midfielder's jump is mistimed and results in him sending his close-range header well wide of the goal.
19'
Griezmann links up well with Paul Pogba midway inside the Paraguay half of the pitch before the latter tries to tee up Giroud with a deft dink over the top of the visitors' defence, but the Arsenal striker isn't on the same wavelength and is caught offside, meaning he has to let the ball bounce into the hands of Silva.
17'
Dembele almost makes it 3-0! Matuidi is seemingly fouled over on the left-hand side of the Paraguay box, but the referee allows play to go on as the ball rolls over to Payet. The attacking midfielder spins and picks out Dembele, who then sends a first-time curling strike just wide of the far post.
15'
A bit of space opens up in the middle of the pitch and allows Paraguay to try and push forward quickly, but they're unable to do so with enough speed and Djibril Sidibe is easily able to deal with the danger.
13'
O. Giroud has scored a goal for France! Assist by D. Payet.
GOAL! It's Giroud again! Payet causes all sorts of problems for the Paraguay back line as he dances his way towards the byline, and he then sets up Giroud to head the ball into the back of the net from close range with a lovely dinked cross that picks out the striker perfectly.
Payet showcased wonderful skills as he easily skipped through a sea of Paraguay defenders, but, once again, the visitors didn't do at all well enough when put under pressure.
12'
What an opportunity for Federico Santander! A France attacking move breaks down, allowing Paraguay to hit the home side on a quick counter-attack. Edgar Benitez charges deep into the hosts' half of the pitch and does well to shake off two defenders before spinning and finding Santander, but, somehow, the striker ends up firing his first-time effort over the top of the crossbar from close range.
10'
Chance for Griezmann! The Atletico Madrid man is left in a pocket of space just outside of the Paraguay penalty area and quickly gets a shot away, but his swerving strike is well saved by Silva before it can find the back of the net.
8'
Paraguay are really struggling to find a way out of their own half of the pitch during the opening stages of the game. France are really enjoying themselves whenever they break forward, allowing them to swarm plenty of blue shirts towards their opponents' box.
6'
O. Giroud has scored a goal for France! Assist by O. Dembélé.
Dembele has started the game brilliantly and is causing all sorts of problems out wide. Paraguay don't seem to have their defence set up well enough, as they're leaving pockets of space available.
GOAL! It's 1-0 to the hosts! Once again, Dembele is left in far too much space over on the right flank. He's easily able to beat his marker before fizzing a dangerous pass across the face of goal and over to the far post, where Giroud calmly slots the ball into the back of an empty net after it flies just past Griezmann.
5'
France have started really brightly and are already putting plenty of pressure on their opponents. First, Benjamin Mendy gets the better of two defenders before Ousmane Dembele cuts inside from the right wing, and the youngster then sets up Olivier Giroud to send a headed effort looping on to the roof of the net.
4'
The second France corner is dealt with better by the Paraguay defence, but the home side are able to quickly regain possession through Antoine Griezmann. The forward then tries to set up a team-mate with a dinked pass down the right flank, but it's slightly overhit and bounces out of play.
3'
The corner is swung into the penalty area and over to the far post, where it finds Laurent Koscielny. Silva gets a hand to the ball but can only flick it down to the defender, who then fires a low cross off a red and white shirt and out for another corner.
2'
After an even start to the game from both sides, Paraguay win themselves a free-kick over on the left wing. It's sent short by Oscar Romero and all the way back to Antony Silva, whose poor clearance allows Blaise Matuidi to win the hosts an early corner.
1'
We're off! France get us underway, attacking from left to right.
Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s international friendly between France and Paraguay at Roazhon Park.
With a World Cup qualifying game against Sweden fast approaching, tonight’s clash sees France flex their muscles against Paraguay in a fixture that has taken place twice in the last decade. Les Bleus were unable to get the better of their opponents on both of those occasions, meaning that their last victory against the South American nation came under exciting circumstances in the last-16 of the 1998 World Cup.
A Laurent Blanc goal deep into extra-time helped them win 1-0 on their way to lifting the trophy on home soil, something they were unable to do at last year’s European Championship. They’ve been in good form since then, however, beating the likes of Italy and the Netherlands, but they were handed a 2-0 defeat by Spain in their last outing at the end of March.
It’s been a much tougher year or so for Paraguay, who have won just three of their previous 14 games across all competitions. As a result, they currently sit in eighth place in the World Cup qualification standings after losing 3-0 away to Brazil, meaning it’s going to be very tough for them to climb into the top half of the table with just four games left to go.
Francisco Arce’s men have pulled off some impressive results in recent months, however, and they’re unlikely to go down without a fight here this evening. They shocked Chile in a 2-1 victory last September before going to hand a similarly surprising defeat to Argentina a month later, although the sole goalscorer in that clash, Derlis Gonzalez, is unfortunately unable to feature tonight.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
France XI (4-2-3-1): Lloris; Sidibe, Koscielny, Umtiti, Mendy; Pogba, Matuidi; Dembele, Griezmann, Payet; Giroud.
Didier Deschamps has decided to make seven changes to the France side that started the defeat against Spain, with Djibril Sidibe, Benjamin Mendy, Paul Pogba, Blaise Matuidi, Ousmane Dembele, Dimitri Payet and Olivier Giroud coming into the starting line-up to replace Christophe Jallet, Layvin Kurzawa, N’Golo Kante, Corentin Tolisso, Adrien Rabiot, Kylian Mbappe and Kevin Gameiro, respectively.
Meanwhile, Paraguay boss Francisco Arce has made eight alterations to the team that featured in their last outing, with Paulo Da Silva, Dario Veron, Hernan Perez, Rodrigo Rojas, Cristian Riveros, Cecilio Dominguez, Miguel Almiron and Derlis Gonzalez making way for Juan Patino, Gustavo Gomez, Juan Iturbe, Victor Ayala, Juan Aguilar, Edgar Benitez, Oscar Romero and Federico Santander in a heavily altered line-up.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: FRANCE 2-0 PARAGUAY
The game has been little more than a training exercise for France, who have comfortably bossed the contest so far. A poor start by Paraguay allowed Giroud to bag two goals within the opening 13 minutes, and since then it's Les Bleus who have been on the front foot. Santander was presented with a chance to fire the visitors back into the game but badly fluffed his lines, and that would prove to be the only chance for his side during what was a tough first half.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half.
FULL-TIME: FRANCE 5-0 PARAGUAY
Scorelines can sometimes be deceiving, but tonight's result tells the whole story. France were on top from start to finish, and they never gave a poor Paraguay side a chance to breathe. As soon as Giroud made it 2-0 after just 13 minutes, the game seemed as good as over, and that proved to be the case as the home side continued to make life a misery for their opponents, leaving Lloris all alone in goal and allowing him to marvel at a wonderful attacking performance from his team.
