CHANCE Ingolstadt and it just falls to the wrong man. Centre-back Marvin Matip finds himself on the edge of the box after a one-two with Lezcano and he runs into the box but he cannot steady himself and he shoots high and wide. That could well be it for the visitors and that's the best chance of the night.

Three points for Dortmund tonight will see them cut the gap on second-placed RB Leipzig but their rivals are still to play this weekend. Tuchel's men have not been at their best so far but it appears to still be good enough.

The pace of the game has dipped slightly and subs for both teams could be needed to give us a lift. Of course that will not bother Dortmund who still lead 1-0 thanks to that first-half strike from Aubameyang.
61'
A break in play as Almong Cohen recieves treatment but the midfielder is back on his feet and ready to go again.
58'
Still plenty of time for Ingolstadt to find an equaliser but Dortmund are still looking really dangerous in the final third. Tuchel's men just need to settle down and the goals should come.

Dortmund respond immediately and Pulisic dribbles his way to the edge of the box but his attempted through ball goes horribly wrong and the move breaks down.
46'
An error at the back from Dortmund allows Leckie to pounce but his poor record in front of goal continues as he shoots over. Matthias Ginter played the ball into the chest of Papastathopoulos by accident but Ingolstadt fail to punish their opponents.

One minute of added time is shown.

WHAT A CHANCE - Raphael Guerreiro finds space and is played in down the left but he can only smash the ball over the crossbar.

A great move down the left from Ingolstadt sees Markus Suttner fire in a dangerous cross, Roman Burki spills the ball but Kittel cannot find a gap and his half-volley is blocked and Dortmund clear.

Morales goes close again but this time he manages to creep into the box unmarked. A cross from the right finds him but he can only head the ball into the ground but this is a fantastic response from Walpurgis' men.
25'
Ingolstadt midfielder Alfredo Morales tries his luck from the edge of the box after the ball bounces to him but he can only hook his shot wide of the target.
23'
Birthday boy Shinji Kagawa, who turned 28 today, is lurking on the halfway line so far as he tries to punish Ingolstadt on the counter-attack. The Japan international is almost played through but a poor through ball sees the move break down.
21'
It's taken them 20 minutes but Ingolstadt are now starting to find some joy going forward. Sonny Kittel is the latest man to make a strong run but he is told to get up by the referee after going down in the box following a challenge from Papastathopoulos.

7'
Tuchel will be fairly pleased with his side's start so far but they're yet to test Martin Hansen in the Ingolstadt goal, but they've had all the possession in the first few minutes.

That set-piece comes to nothing and Ingolstadt do well to clear the danger and reset but they are already working hard to stop Dortmund's fast-flowing football.

These two sides have only met on three occasions and Dortmund are unbeaten at present after two wins and a draw. Earlier this season they were held to a 3-3 draw in what was one of the best games of the Bundesliga campaign to date.

The game is underway as Ingolstadt kick us off as they try and become the first team to beat Dortmund at home for over two years.
Hello and good evening everyone to our live text commentary of Borussia Dortmund vs Ingolstadt from the Bundesliga.
Borussia Dortmund come into tonight's match as the heavy favourites thanks to their impressive recent form and league position. Thomas Tuchel's side sit third in the Bundesliga and have won four of their last five matches in all competitions. They beat Sportfreunde Lotte 3-0 last time out in the DFB Pokal, while they are also through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
On the other hand, Ingolstadt currently sit in the relegation zone in 17th and they have won just once in their last five contests. Maik Walpurgis' men did secure a 2-2 draw against Cologne last week but they will need to step up this evening if they are to get a result against Dortmund.
Tuchel makes three changes from that win on Tuesday, with Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Erik Durm and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang coming in for Marc Bartra, Ousmane Dembele and Andre Schurrle.
Walpurgis has named the same starting eleven from the draw with Cologne and he will be hoping his team reward him for his decision. Not long now until this Bundesliga game gets underway.
The team's are out on the pitch and the home crowd are well up for this one. Kick-off just minutes away!
HALF-TIME - Borussia Dortmund 1-0 Ingolstadt - Aubemeyang's goal is the difference at the break and it was a superb team move that carved open the visitors.
Both teams will feel they could have scored more goals, with Dortmund failing to capitalise on more possession. To their credit, Ingolstadt have picked themselves up and are now pushing forward when possible. The second-half should see more goals as the visitors try to find a way back into this game.
FULL-TIME - Borussia Dortmund 1-0 Ingolstadt.
Aubameyang's first-half strike is the difference then in what was a poor Dortmund display. They get away with it in the end but Ingolstadt deserved more after battling away for the full 90 minutes.
On another night they may have grabbed a point but it was not to be and Dortmund march on in the Bundesliga. Once again thanks for joining us tonight, goodbye!
