Both teams have been very poor in the final final third, and they would need to really improve in order to avoid extra time here. Otherwise, I think this match will ended in a goalless draw.

A CHANCE FOR DR CONGO!!! A well-weighted ball is played inside the Ghanaian box, but they cannot hit the target. Razak to restart. The Ghanaian keeper hasn't been tested so far.

We're underway....
Hi everyone, welcome to tonight's quarter-final match betrween DR Congo and Ghana. I am Ernest Makhaya, and I will be your host this evening.
TEAM NEWS: Asamoah Gyan starts on the bench for the Black Stars. Andre Ayew will lead Ghana against DR Congo.
Ghana strarting XI: R Brimah, F Acheampong, J Boye, D Amartey, H Afful, M Wakaso, A Acquah, A Ayew, T Partey, C Atsu, J Ayew.
The two nations are already on the pitch. Now for the singing of National Anthems...
We're moments away from kick-off...
DR Congo will look to build on their solid display which they showed in the final 10 minutes of the first half. They looked better and threatening in the final third.
Ghana on the other hand, should look to keep the ball in midfield going into the second half. Jordan Ayew hasn't been given the supply he requires in order to score goals.
I don't think any of the two teams wil make changes at the start of the second half. Reason being, there's a possibility of an extra time here.
Both teams are making their way on to the pitch, and the second half should be starting shortly.
Jordan Ayew is voted man of the match for his brilliant performance in the absence of Asamoah Gyan upfront.
FULL-TIME: Democratic Republic of Congo 1-2 Ghana.
It was an absolute pleasure bringing you this encounter LIVE on Goal! Be sure sure to catch in the semi-finals on Wednesday and Thursday. Until then, goodbye.
